Simone Pastore biography

Simon was born in Taranto (South Italy) on 20 September 1971. His brother Luigi Pastore is a movie director. He started playing piano from 6 years old, thanks to his mother who was a great piano musician in Italy. Simone started performing with his mother all around Italy when he was 10 years old. He has done classical studies and then the university in Pharmacological specialization... then he entered Bliss Co. Studios on June 1993 where he started working with the other musicians. He was the frontman and keyboardist for Da Blitz project. He loved to collect old synthesizers and he admired musicians like Jean-Michel Jarre, Rujchi Sakamoto and Mike Oldfield. His most famous sentence according to his official biography on the record's company website : "Sorry, I didn't hear the alarm clock".

In 1998, Simone left BlissCo and went back to Taranto. He finished his Pharmacy studies and graduated, and started working as a chemist. However, he kept on composing music during his free time and published two records in Puglia with the help of a producer, Guido Villani.

2004 : Simone joined again with Viviana to create a new project called DB Reloaded (they could not use the name Da Blitz since it was protected by copyrights). The first single was entitled Revenge.

2018 : he started working on a new album entitled Apokalypse. He published the demo of a first track, Enigma.

2019 : Simone Pastore joined the project 90 Degrees, along with Nunzio Marzulli and Ignazio Spinosa. They released a single entitled Anni 90.

2021 : he contributed to a cover of Bronski Beat's Hit That Perfect Beat with project Retronik, "a new electronic project born to update songs from past years, revisiting them in a modern key with electronic sounds". In December, a second single was released : Soldi, featuring a sample of the voice of late Betty Curtis. Simone explained that he had the idea in July, in the pharmacy of Taranto where he worked, as he heared the son of the pharmacy's owner humming the song while drawing some banknotes from the cash register

2020 : Simone Pastore released several songs under stage name Javè.
