Kaska Myszkiewicz biography

Kaśka Myszkiewicz began working at Star Maker Studios in Warsaw, Poland sometime in 1995. During this time, she was the vocalist for the Blue Star label Eurodance project called Kaśka, a duo group consisting of the vocalist, Kaska, and a male rapper. They were active as Kaska during 1995-1997, and recorded three albums, Ja Wiem, Niebo Pełne Słońca, and Pokarzę Ci świat. Their most popular song was Ja Wiem, released around 1995. Videoclips were shot for songs Ja wiem, Mówiłeś and Niebo pełne słońca. During 1997, however, the Kaska project stopped releasing new music and the vocalist released a new album under the name Kaska Myszkiewicz, signaling that the Kaska project was probably discontinued in 1997. It is also believed that Kaska's third album may have not released due to this.

During September-November 1996, she recorded her debut album called Ty Istniejesz, which translates to "You Exist" in English. During late 96-97, she also shot music videos for her songs Ty Istniejesz and Ty To Ja - Ja To Ty for promotion for the album's release. In early 1997, her debut album Ty Istniejesz released on CD and Cassette through Dance World and GM Music in Poland. The album was recorded entirely in Polish, with same production team as Kaska project, so it was never released outside of Poland, and even inside Poland, it only had a small release with a limited number of prints during 1997.

Later in 1997, Kaska recorded a second album with Dance World and Star Maker Studios, titled Jak Obudzic Sie. For promotion, some of the songs from this album were featured on Dance World compilations. The songs released were Jak Obudzic Sie, Zegar, Czarodziejska Wieża, and Kolor Nieba, only a remix of Zegar was released however. End of 1997, Kaska Myszkiewicz probably released her second album, at least this is how it was scheduled. Many Dance World releases were cancelled after 1997 because of eurodance's decreasing popularity, which eventually caused Polish dance label Star Maker to shut down in 1998. But some rumors says this album may have been released only on cassette. Despite this, only these songs mentioned above have ever made it online from this rare album.

In 1998, Kaska Myszkiewicz returned again, this time with a new song released to compilational albums under Star Maker and Dance World called Daj Mi Miłość, released under the name Kaska M., and unlike her previous material, it had a more Happy Hardcore/Eurodance sound to it, with Bubblegum-pitched vocals. The song was released to a number of compilational albums in 1998.

Nothing further was heard from Kaska Myszkiewicz after this, meaning that her project probably ended when Star Maker Studios shut down in 1998.

It is also rumored that Kaska Myszkiewicz may have been more or less a project rather than an actual singer, as it may have only been a stage name, considering that no information on her can be found anywhere, but there are no credits to confirm if she may have had a different name or not. There is also the possibiliy that her surname could have changed if she got married.
