Karin Mueller biography

Born in Bremen, vocalist and songwriter Karen/Karin Müller aka Caren Miller started her musical carreer in 1988.

During the 90s, she worked as songwriter, studio and background vocalist for Mr President. According to rumors, she was T-Seven's real voice. She stayed in Mr President project after T-Seven's departure. According to an interview, being only the studio vocalist had also its advantage : she did not have to be always on the road.

She could also have contributed to vocals on Kiss The Beat - Power People (and the tracks based on samples from this song, such as Hurricane - Power To Jump, Jeriko - We Are The Power and Deep Wave ‎- Power), as well as Zero Zero - Give Me More. She also contributed as a songwriter to Scatman John songs.

Karen did vocals for the Top 40 band Albatross during many years. She also contributed to the bands Junge Bremer, Pleasure Dome, Streetlife, Madison Band, Avalon to name a few. She took part to the revue Women in Rock. She also visited the soul bands Crew 54 and Komm! Mit Mann!s. She also appeared in the jazz formations Aida Aura (with pianist Karl Springer) and Olaf King & the Swingers.

As a songwriter and composer, she worked for the Schlager singers Bernd Berger and Darco. As a studio singer and speaker, she recorded many jingles and ads, for instance the track Sin (for Keiler, a brand of beer). Los Tumpulos, a group based in Hannover, asked them to write a song for their album Fly Again. With Pascal Kravetz she sang the ATP-tournament anthem I'm gonna win. She did many live appearances, for instance on "Antenne das Hit Radio".

2005 : She is nowadays a member of the Soul Of Supremes band, along with singers Carmen Purpurheart, Myra Jackson and keyboardist Piet Gorecki.
