Mr Happyman biography

In the year 1995, someone wise told that Mr Happyman may be the most popular band at the moment, but in 10 years noone would remember it. That is nonsense - it is year 2006 and there is no Estonian who does not remember Mr Happyman, the project brought "the totally stressless music" to Estonia. And besides that the superhit Las mina proovin siis ka (means "Let me try as well") has become legendary instead of being forgotten. The super-hyper dance-music project of 90s is still alive and popular and they proved it in spring 2006 with their album Retro.

The success of Mr Happyman started in the year 1995 when the song Las mina proovin siis ka won the hearts of Estonians and it became a summer anthem, that was played all the time and everywhere : radio stations, nightclubs, cars and so on. Actually it is the song that made Sven Lõhmus a famous composer. After that he has composed hundreds of successful pop-songs preformed by different artists. Sven has been many times elected as the most played composer in Estonia. Sven Lõhmus has been the leading figure, composer and male vocalist of Mr Happyman. The other permanent member of the band is Sulev Lõhmus, the brother of Sven. It has been more complicated with the girls. There has always been two women in the band, but they have changed. At the moment the girls are Kadi Rasmussen and Ly Lumiste.
