Latino Party biography

Latino Party was founded in 1989 by German producer David Fairstein (aka Fabrice Cuitad, known among others for his contribution to Enigma's first album) and Phil Simpson (Jean-François Boutillier). Perfomers were 2 ladies : Manuella et Angelica (who are said to be the daughters of actor Henry Calvin, known for his role in Disney's series Zorro) and 2 male dancers : Moossa and choreographer Emy. They were spotted in a disco in Ibiza.

DJ Gonzo Megabyte contributed to make their first single Esta Loca popular.. Most of their singles were made of samples from disco songs. Tequila was a remix of their previous single Quisiera tequila, and based on samples from Depeche Mode's Just Can't Get Enough. The Party used musical theme of Don't Go by Yazoo. Arriba! used samples from Roy Orbison's Oh Pretty Woman.

1992 : new single Aprovecha was released. It picked up samples from Highway To Hell by AC/DC.

1993 : Baila Me was produced by M.I.Zadeh and composed by G.Padevy, Y.Rota and K.M.Louis'.

1994 : Caramba was produced and remixed by Belgian duet Unity Mixers, composed by M.I.Zadeh and Iasonas.

1995 : Esta Loca was remixed and released under stage name 2 Pirates In A Club
