Gentle biography

Gentle is a German trio produced by AW Music Entertainment Group. Frontman and rapper Johnny G. (aka J. Gentilini, the project's name probably comes from his last name) started selecting his crew in 1992. This is how the female vocalist Dragica and the rappers Semir G and T.I.M.O. joined him. On stage, they appeared together with 4 dancers.

At the beginning of 1995, they were selected to support Rednex on their tour. They also toured with K2, Status Quo, MC Hammer and the Bad Boys Blue on stages in the UK, Switzerland, Romania and of course in Germany

Their first single was entitled The First Touch. It was also the title of their first and only album.

The second single The Rhythm Of Love was a very good eurodance track which was composed by J. Gentilini, A. Nicki and Rolf Wetzel, the lyrics were written by J. Gentilini and D. Mitchell. It was produced by Rolf Wetzel and Don Mitchell, released in 1995 under the label Dancing Shoes.

The album First Touch was recorded and mixed at Soundhouse Records by Rolf Wetzel. Most tracks were produced by Rolf Wetzel. Feel What You Feel, The Rhythm Of Love, The First Touch and I'm Watching You were produced by Rolf Wetzel & Don Mitchell. Computer programming was done by Don Mitchell, Rolf Wetzel & Thomas Hauser. The album was distributed by Fun Music Promotion Ltd.
