Debbie Fredericks biography
Debbie Fredericks was the voice of Europhoria. She began her singing career 10 years before. She won her first talent search at the age os 14. Over the years she had developed a voice that was sure to soothe the strongest of hearts, giving her the tools to reach the top of the music pyramid. After Europhoria, which was her professional debut, she did vocals on Algo Rhythm Stays The Same and released some solo singles : Tell Me and more recently You Make Me Feel. Her beautiful voice was also featured on TC's Get Up. Both tracks appear on the music compilation Just For You - Day & Night. She also did a duet with Nathalie Page.
Debbie was said to be working on her first album but nothing came out. She attended the Juno winning Whitham School for the Performing Arts in Ottawa where she carefully balanced singing, songwriting and performing with her work as a career counselor. Debbie became 'the voice of Kingston', winning the K-Town Star competition in 2004. She has shared the stage with Kingston's prominent musicians and has worked with Grammy and Juno winning artists, producers and songwriters throughout Canada. She has performed at the acclaimed Apollo Theatre in New York City and was invited to participate in the 'Live at the Apollo' television show.
2012 : she launched Bump, a vocal and performance coaching company. Debbie is also a member of the Artist Teaching Roster through the City of Kingston's Arts Culture and Community Engagement Services Department, and holds a certification in Artist Teaching Foundations through the Royal Conservatory of Music. She was recently seen as the vocal and performance coach on the reality TV series "Casting Christine" and is involved in several other collaborative projects throughout Kingston and surrounding areas. She also collaborated with Zack Werner.
2013 : she had planned for release a solo single Doing Me Wrong.
2015 : she is working is due for release soon along with other exciting collaborations.
She lives in Kingston, Ontario
