Toni Cottura biographyToni started his carreer back in 1988, when he created a hip-hop team with David Fascher. This is how he began to make his name known on the German scene. In 1990 he teamed up with the producer DJ Shahin (twice champion DJ of Germany, very well-known in the R'n'B and hip-hop field). In 1993 he started contributing to many projects such as Fun Factory (as performer under the name of Smooth T, and a s writer and co-producer, till 1997). Then he took part to the Backstreet Boys (as rapper), N'Sync, 2 Raff (Don't Stop The Music), Darkness, N'Sync, Marky Mark, Wilhelmina, etc. He is also Daisy Dee's husband and collaborator. He created the Booya Music Studios in 1996 with Bülent Aris and Holger Storm, and produced artists such as Nana, Rugged Eye, Ray Horton, Pappa Bear und Twisted. He also released some solo singles such as Party Boom (with raps of AK Swift) and more recently My Life (featuring VD Toorn) and On And On. Unfortunately the style was rap or R'n'B and absolutely not eurodance. During his free time, Toni enjoys practising martial arts, such as Ninjutsiu und Kung-Fu/Shaolin. 2000 : he took part to The 7inch Project with artists Craig Smart and Mazaya, the result was a single called All I Want To Know. 2003 : Toni released a new hip-hop single called Fly, in which he did not rapped, but only sung. He also stood behind the Underdog Project, which had a lot of success with their single Summerjam. 2006 : Toni Cottura is back with a new single entitled Quieres Una Aventura. It's a duet with the Romanian singer Corina. 2008 : Toni contributed to Corina's new album. 2010 : in March, Toni announced on his official site that he was in studio working on his new single, planned for this summer 2010. It would be in the same style as his previous single Fly. He worked on Greek singer Maro Litra's new single Elevator Love. Toni Cottura and Steve Browarczyk were back with Shahin Moshirian, with The Underdog Project. Their single Summer Jam 2010 was released on July 30th. 2001 : in June, Toni was in Bucharest to film the video for his new single called Party 4 Free, a collaboration with Romanian artist Raluka.
