Sophie Cairo biography

Born in 1978 in Budapest, Sophie studied opera singing and graduated in 1996 from Weiner Leo in Budapest, Hungary. She also studied the piano during 12 years. She worked as a singer in hotels and on cruise ships in Scandinavia. In 1998, she started a carreer of professional session and club musician in her homeland Hungary. In 2003 she released her first solo single.

2007 : Sophie was support artist to open Lenny Kravitz's ’Let Love Rule’ concert in Budapest.

She became La Bouche's new frontlady, sharing the stage with Lane McCray on stage during tours and 90s festivals

2016 : she was featured by Flowmotion Projekt on their single Don't Back Down

2018 : she took pause from La Bouche to get married in Australia.

2020 : after noticing Australian's lack of respect of driving rules, she recorded and released solo single Keep Left.

2021 : after spending 2020 there because of the sanitary crisis, she finally decided to stay with her husband in Australia, being replaced by Timi Kullai as La Bouche singer. She gave jazz concerts in Adelaide
