Boer biography

Christiaan Martin and Gerardus W.C. Robert (Bobby) are the producers of 2 Brothers on the 4th floor. They had been experimenting with music for years in a little bedroom of their parents' apartment located on the 4th floor of a building. But then in 1990 things really started to happen for them, the single Can't Help Myself was picked up by Dutch radiostations and became an international hit.

They brought together the rapper Da Smooth Baron MC and the singers Peggy 'The Duchess' and Gale Robinson to form the 2 Brothers on the 4th Floor stage-act. The next single Turn Da Music was somewhat less successful but really helped spreading the name 2 Brothers on the 4th Floor.

After these two singles the project was put on a halt. Martin moved into a new professional studio and started making remixes under the name Dancability Productions. He made remixes for acts like Becky Bell and Twenty 4 Seven, he also made the Veronica Megamix 1993 for Veronica Radio. He also worked in a record-store called "Kareltje" in Utrecht (Holland), together with Corné Klijn. Corné was a DJ who was a very popular radio-show at Radio 3FM called The Big Show. In the meanwhile Bobby was busy designing record-covers and CD-inlays for his company named Creation. The logo from the 2 Brothers On The 4Th Floor was designed by Bobby himself.

In 1994 they decided to revive the 2 Brothers on the 4th Floor-project. Bobby joined Martin in his studio, and after several days of work, Never Alone was born. This single was the first to be launched with the new team composed by the rapper D-Rock and and the singer Des'ray .

The 2 Brothers also stand behind the projects 2 Static (Looking For Trouble), Definition Of Joy (4 Ever More, Stay With Me 4 Ever), Memory Fuel, X-Generation, Panic Zone and Skibby featuring King Lover. They also worked with Nance and produced 2 tracks for her : Beats Of Love and Shot Of Love.
