Basic Connection biographyBasic Connection is a project by the Italian producer Mauro Tondini, who also took part to producing the Alexia albums Mad For Music and Alexia. Several different singers contributed to the proect : Daniela Gorgoni, Helen Jayne Davies, Julie Harrington, Daniela Rando, Joanne Houchin and Laura Robles. Some of them also took part to co-writing their songs. Daniela Gorgoni, for example, is the singer and co-writer of the first single Háblame Luna (which included remixes made by Todd Terry). The project was fronted by Alice Guarnieri, a professional dancer and a classic dance teacher too, who sung playback on stage and in the videos. Alice was born in Milano, where she still lives. She studied at Accademia Di Belle Arti Di Brera and works at Get fit - Dimensione Danza - Propatria - Mirtillo (Milano). The next two singles Angel (with remixes by Blank & Jones) and You Are My Love were co-written by Sandy Chambers. Angel was also released under the name Sash! presents Basic Connection feat Joanne Houchin. The album has been published in different versions with two different covers. On the German edition the lyrics of the first track Háblame Luna were in English, only the chorus was sung in Spanish. On the Italian edition the whole song was sung in Spanish.
