Any Second biography

The friends João Paulo, Giovanni and Alex developed a project with a female vocalist called Adriana Mezzadri... The songwriter was Roberta Ayres. The name Any Second came up when they tried to get into a contest of dance bands… Alex said they could call any time, any second, to check the info 'bout their band, and they not even had a name ! And while they were joking with Alex, the name Any Second was approved. They were produced by Sandro Passes. Their label was MDS Music

The song Wanna Be With You, released in 1997, was a hit all over Brazil. It got into many compilations including the soundtrack of the soap opera Malhação (by Rede Globo). Then, the same year came Right Here Waiting (a dance version for Richard Marx's song), another hit that topped the Brazilian charts for weeks and got into some compilations. The CD single contained 2 versions of the plus, plus one version of the previous hit Wanna Be With You

The third single Tonight (out in 1998) didn't have the same success as did the other two, but was played during a time in Brazilian radios. A year later the group got over, each one of them got their own way into the music scene…

Now, 5 years after their last song, they are thinking of getting together again to record a new dance song.

Thanks to DJ Alex Calboy and Alex Capilé
