3-O-Matic biography

3-O-Matic were Nancy Rentzsch (who now married DJ Bobo), Tanja Geuder (28 years old at this time), also joined DJ Bobo's team, and the rapper and songwriter George Walden III aka Wild Thang. The producers were N-Dee (Andy Lutschounig) and Frank Lio (Achim Kleist). Nancy and Tanya had been knowing each other since 1986, when they attended the same dance studio. They toured as dancers with Haddaway in 1993. The project'name came from a play on word. 3 was chosen because they were a trio. The other part of the name came from Variomatic, the automatic transmission in Tanya's car (originally created by Dutch car manufacturer DAF, and which was used in over 40 car brands and models).

3-O-Matic recorded an album in 1996 called Senerata which means "Serenate" in English. The album was coproduced by Antonio De'luque which was also the producer of A.A.A.. Amazing pure eurodance singers were featured in this 3-O-Matic album, such as M.J. Gibbs, MC Bla, Serena. The album contained 8 songs, including the singles Success, All I Want Is You and Hand In Hand. The album was never released, unfortunately.

In 1995 3-O-Matic did two remixes for Odyssey's hit-single Face To Face (the Face The House Mix and the Hard Tribe Remix).

2014 : Tanja Geuder and George Walden teamed up again to form 2-O-matic. Their comeback single, composed by Boris Pavlovic and Thomas Hauser, was entitled Harder Like Stone. A second single entitled Angel Of My Life was planned but was finally never released.

2019 : an elbum entitled Dance Mixes gathered versions from Harder Like Stone and from the previously unreleased single Angel Of My Life.

Thanks to Nancy Rentzsch-Baumann and Anton "MC Ka$per" Skaletsky
