2 Eivissa biographyEivissa is the Catalan name of Ibiza island. 2 Eivissa was created in 1997 by Hamburg-based production crew Team 33. Most tracks were written and produced by Ambrogio Crotti, Luigi Ricco (real name Luis Rodriguez) and David Granados Lacera. Project featured vocalist Terri Bjerre and Melannie Molinnus on the first album. Then Terri B left the project to start a solo carreer, being replaced by Jobel (Josephine Hiebel) from mid-1999 on. On stage, the act was fronted by Jane & Francine (aka 2 Blond Bandits) until 2000. Their debut single Oh La La La hit the charts worldwide, including Spain, USA, Italy, United Kingdom, and Germany. The project was stopped after 2005, until it was resurrected by Team 33, who produced Hot Summer Night for David Tavaré using a vocal sample from Oh La La La.
