One of the most uplifting melodies, a flawless summer feel. It's almost sure that Annerly Gordon did vocals on this superb track released under SAIFAM label New Meal Power and produced by Farina, Nobile and Arduini. Annerly's voice is luminous and perfectly fits the track. One of my all-time favourites.

Playahitty

The Summer Is Magic  LISTEN

Playahitty's first single and, still nowadays, an absolute summer classic (#2 in Italy). Sound of gulls and waves gives an amazing summer feel, close your eyes and you're on the beach.
A summer anthem to such a point that it was covered by Exotica feat. Itsy Foster in 1995. Then it was remixed and re-released in 2002 by Sascha de Vries, covered by Frisco in 2006, then once again revamped in 2008.

Alexia

Summer Is Crazy  LISTEN

When I feel down". Second solo single of one of eurodance's most beautiful voices. Alexia scored a huge hit with this single (#1 in Italy, Finland, Poland and Spain), which was translated and covered in 2009 by Finnish artist Virpi Rakkaus (and renamed Hulluu)

Muévelo  LISTEN

Spanish songs are traditionally associated with summer vacations. Released in 1996, and opening track of Fey's second album Tierna La Noche, Muévelo makes no exception. If you spent some holidays at Club Med, you probably played crazy signs on this superb eurodance track.

Dancing In The Night  LISTEN

Dancing In The Night is a wonderful eurodance track, with an amazing, rich and bouncy melody just like Italian know how to compose. The kind of track you can't help playing on and on. I guess that many guys phantasized on the butterfly tatoo on the Italian vinyl and the ZYX maxi sleeves.
According to rumors, vocalist could be Melody Castellari.

Ondina

Into The Night  LISTEN

A sunny track coming from a cold land... A catchy and uplifting melody, giving a global summer feel enforced by the waves sound in the intro.
Petra Lundqvist aka Ondina plays a fairy transforming kids into sexy dancers in a carefree and naive videoclip...
Into The Night was covered by Spanish project Gina the same year. Then, an updated version of Into The Night was released in 2005.

Paradisio

Bailando  LISTEN

THE essentiel summer anthem for the Latin and Scandinavian part of Europe (as for the German-speaking part, they still believe that Bailando is a Loona hit).
Belgian Paradisio featuring Marisa and her fancy coloured wigs set the fire to Summer 1996. Many party animals learned their first Spanish words with her.
The single was re-recorded by new Paradisio face and voice Shelby Diaz in 2010 and released under the title Bailando me dices adios.

Catalana

The Summer Of Love  LISTEN

Another very sunny and breezy track for every eurodance summer playlist. Or if you're in need of something to help you feel your day much sunnier during the rest of the year.
Catalana was the brainchild of Dutch producers Groeneveld, Van der Zwan And Voermans. The featured female vocalist is still unknown, which is quite a pity because she has a gorgeous voice.

Miranda

Vamos A La Playa  LISTEN

Top summer track made in France, though lyrics are Spanish. Simple melody and strong beats, a pleasure to dance to around the swimming pool.
Another track covered by Loona, this time in 2011, meeting even more success than the original.

Decadance

Save My Soul  LISTEN

To my opinion one of the best tracks from this Austrian project built around South American folklore theme, featuring the same vocalist as Imperio. A superb eurodance song, with a lovely panflute melody and the characteristic strong beats of German-Austrian-Swiss productions.
