My 10 favourite eurodance songs about rain
Rain is usually synonym of sadness, tears, cold, breakup. But rain is also kind of beautiful and intensely emotional. It was also the theme of many great eurodance songs. Here a re my 10 favourite, to listen to on a rainy day, with the patter of raindrops on your window pane. Don't forget your umbrella...

This is the song I love the most among all the great tracks that LOFT released. Composed by Axel Breitung. It uses the metaphor of the rain to speak about seemingly endless times of confusion and misery. When your loved one walks out of your life, the sun oftentimes follows him/her...

A wonderful eurodance track which brings the melancholy spirit of the rain home. A breathtaking melody which can't be missed.

Another Axel Breitung masterpiece, recently released as a track on digital compilations by Bishop studios. Featured singer is probably Chrissie, Breitung's vocalist of choice. This song is about a lost love and a broken heart. "When the summer fades to autumn, comes the queen of rain"

Already featured in my 50 favourite German eurodance songs, this absolutely amazing track was composed and produced by Andreas Velte and Christian Walter (aka Orbiter team), written by Teshim Temesgen. A pure beauty in every tone and string, that simply demands to be grooved to.

Another great classic from dream team Farina/Crivellente, a club hit in Spain, Japan, Benelux, South America and especially in France. A superb track, with lovely vocals and a melody which blazes the dancefloors.
#6
Impossible not to mention this absolute 1994 classic, featuring gorgeous vocals by Alexia, and one of Ian Campbell's biggest hits ever. Nothing to do with the rain directly, it's only a metaphor about bad times. #1 in Italy and Belgium, it also went #13 in Austria, #6 in France, #11 in Israel, #8 in the Netherlands, #25 in Sweden and #15 Switzerland.

They Say It's Gonna Rain
This song was originally recorded by Kerry Delius in 1984, then covered by Hazell Dean the next year. Katty B provides a very nice reinterpretation of this classic. Single was produced by Fabio Turatti and Mauro Farina, released under mythic label 21st Century records.

A very powerful, fast-paced track, very characteristic of Spanish eurodance style. Caution, this song is pure energy !
#9
This excellent eurodance track produced by Alessandro Gioia and Gino Caria was also released as AAA feat. Jacaragga. It featured stunning vocals by Morena and raps by Nana, coupled with an uplifting and rich organ-like melody that instantly catches the ear.
#10
Produced by Kari Kaivola, James Black and Miikka Hiillos, Dancing In The Rain was Tino Singh's first single (and quite hard to find nowadays !). It advise you particularly the Optical 2 remix.
