My 10 favourite American indian tribal eurodance songs
Native Americans or Indians were the first people to live in the New World. They also inspired eurodance composers. Here are my 10 favorite (plus 2 bonuses) to revive your tribal spirit.

Cherokee are a Native American people historically settled in the South-eastern United States (mainly North Carolina, Georgia and East Tennessee).

Return To Innocence was a cover of Enigma's single produced by Mauro Farina, Cerin and Milano, released under famous Italian eurodance label 21st Century records (SAIFAM Publishing group). It was also covered by another Italian eurodance project : La Notte

Indian Power featured vocals by Vanessa (according to rumors, it could be Clara Moroni. Dreamland project was created and produced by Achim Kleist (aka Frank Lio) and Andy Lutschounig (aka N-Dee), both famous famous for their project 3-0 Matic. This was their one and only release.

Morning dawns on a Native American tribe somewhere in the United States... Indian Dream featured female vocalist Nastasha Hay. This nice eurodance/trance song was written and produced by Wasja Schulz and Wolfen, released under label MMS Group. The 4th track was sung by none other than Linda Rocco. The song was featured by German clothes C&A in their commercial.

Apanachee was a German project based on American Indian theme created by the E-rotic producers John O'Flynn and David Brandes. It featured a solo and uncredited female vocalist. A serene and inspiring song that fuses Native American sounds and percussions with a subtle eurodance feel.

Cherokee Dream was an excellent eurodance song, mostly unstrumental, produced by Franco Diaferia, written and engineered by Giuseppe Lo Buono. Released under label Synth Records, it has become a very hard-to-find single.

This nice eurodance song was written, composed and produced by Martin Sponticcia. Among the mixes on The Spirit Of Nature CD maxi, 2 of them were made by Odyssey. It was used in a TV spot for hair color Poly Nature Color.

"Untamed people in an untouched land, With pride in their culture and pride in their clan...". This Dance 2 Trance big hit featured raw vocals by Linda Rocco has now become a classic. #2 in the Netherlands, #3 in Finland and #5 in Norway, the song sold 250,000 records and was awarded a gold disc. A 1998 (which charted again in Austria, Germany and Switzerland) and a 2009 version were later released. A powerful evokation of the original settlers of North America.

The Spirit Of The Hawk was at first recorded by an Axel Breitung studio project called Indiansphere, then given to Rednex. The choice was right : it was their 2000 succesful comeback single, going #1 in German charts and selling gold in less than 5 weeks, just like they did 5 years ago. It was also used as theme for the German version of the TV-game Fort Boyard.
