Producer and composer Wessel van Diepen was born on 12th November 1966 in Delft (Netherlands). He was the youngest in a family of 4 children. His parents had a little store in Delft.
At 15 he started his own illegal radiostation called "Radio Stad Delft". When he was was 17, during a holiday in Wichita (Kansas, United States), he made a radio roadtrip, visiting several stations in that area. In KKRD he met a DJ who gave him the unique opportunity to fill in for him on air for a period of 3 months. Back in The Netherlands, in 1986, he got noticed by 3FM DJ Rob Stenders and through him he got his demo to several Dutch radio-stations in broadcasting capital Hilversum. After numerous offerings Wessel decided to accept a job as a DJ at the VARA Broadcasting Association.
His unique style was quickly noticed by popular broadcasting organisation Veronica. They wanted to recruit him for some radio and TV programms which included the Europe-wide broadcast popmusic TV show Countdonw, which shot Wessel to international fame.
In the early 90s Veronica moguls Erik de Zwart and Lex Harding deserted Veronica and started Radio 538 (nowadays #1 radiostation in The Netherlands), and Wessel ended up going with them. Besides hitting big ratings with a daily drive-time show, he took the opportunity to exploit his dance minded side and created the internationally awarded radioshow "Van Diepen's Dance Department", where every notable DJ spinned vinyl, ranging from Oakenfold to Digweed and from Paul van Dyk to Tiësto. When Dutch musicvideo channel TMF (The Music Factory) was launched in 1995 and Wessel got on board, he once again gained tv fame as a VJ with a popular show called "Wessels Woelige Wereld" (something like: "Wessels Wild World"), which he hosted until 1999.
During the 90's he also started producing hitmusic, together with Denzil Slemming, Peran van Dijk and later Dennis van Den Driesschen (Danski), leading to successful acts such as L.A. Style James Brown Is Dead (he did the trademark megaphone catchphrase himself), Nakatomi (Free, Children Of The Night), and eventually worldwide phenomenons Vengaboys. He also co-produced some Alice Deejay singles. He also contributed to Partners In Crime, Fun Da Mental, E-Motion, Lick, Fire On High... Over the last 13 years, the Vengaboys alone sold over 15 million singles, 4.5 million albums, went platinum in 73 countries and they performed in more than 130 different countries.
Wessel also owns a recordcompany called Violent Records. Nowadays, Wessel is considered as the most succesful pop dance producer in Dutch music history.

Rach-L aka Rachel van Hoogen was born 27th November 1983. She has been singing and dancing fanatically since she was 11. "Using a hairbrush as a microphone, I gave shows on birthdays, with music from Michael Jackson or Whitney Houston. I acted like I was standing on a big stage, and my family was the public!". It was a logic step that Rach-L's parents signed her up for a dancingschool. There she could focus her attention on her big passion. Rach-L developed her dancing skills very quick. She was soon asked to give streetdance lessons to other groups at the dancing school. Beside singing and dancing, Rach-L's biggest hobbies are fashion and shopping. A well groomed appearance is a must for Rach-L; therefore, it's not a surprise she finished her study visagy with great marks.
In 2003, she became a member of bubblegum project Ch!pz. There were unconfirmed rumors about a love affair with Bill Kaulitz (Tokio Hotel). Chipz split end of 2009.

Play The Game (1993)
Producer of Twenty 4 Seven
Ruud was born in Baarle Hertog (Belgium) in January 1964, but only lived there for just one month. His parents decided to move and take the whole family back to Holland where he spent his whole schooltime. As a young kid he used to play with hammers and nails all day, trying to create all sorts of things and funny figures and so his parents weren't surprised when he told them that he wanted to be a carpenter. He was 14 years old then. Later he started studying in that direction and after he took his degree, he started working for several companies as a carpenter and wood-manufacturer. It didn't take him long to realize that this job wouldn't give him the fulfilment he had planned in his life.
It was during work when he heard a 2 hour non-stop mix of dancemusic on the radio. The mix was made by the most popular D.J./mixer at that time, Ben Liebrand. The first thing he did the next day was buying 2 turntables and spending all his sparetime on mixing. Selfconfident as he was, he recorded his mixes on cassette-tapes and offered them to the local clubs... and they loved his mixes ! He kept on developping his mixing-skills and by delivering newspapers, he was able to make small investments in equipement. Not long after this he participated in a mix-contest, for the first time, and amazed himself by winning. After this victory many important mix- and DJ-contests and victories followed (local and national championships). At one of the contests he won, his big idol, Ben Liebrand, was member of the jury. Right after the contest Ben Liebrand walked up to Ruud and told him that he was astonished by Ruud's skills and talent. 'A memorable moment...'
From here on he started working in a more professional way and started DJ-ing in several clubs, making mixes for the most popular radioprogrammes of nationally broadcasting stations. Because of all this work, he got wellknown in the scene and he earned enough money to start a small recording studio. He was always working with records from other people, so he got very curious if he could produce one of his own. So he produced an instrumental track and added a few vocal pieces from other records (samples) to it and his first record was born : Rock This World under the name of Drivin Force. He amazed himself and his friends and family again by pumping this dance-track into the top 10 of the National Dance-charts !
He was convinced that with originally recorded vocals (singing and rapping) his records would be perfect to cross-over to radio and finally to the national play- and salescharts. He created an act called Twenty 4 Seven, produced their first single I Can't Stand It, and before he realized it, all his records even crossed all borders of the world. Ruud decided to start up his own record company. In his first studio in Dommelen (The Netherlands) he made the first Twenty 4 Seven singles and the albums Streetmoves and I Wanna Show You. Then in 1995 he moved to Lommel (Belgium).
He keeps on remixing tracks for other artists, such as 2 Brothers on the 4th Floor (the Twenty 4 Seven Trance Mix and Dub Mix for the single Dreams), MC Fixx-It (Let's Move), and more recently the Klubbheadz, BBE or Gigi d'Agostino. He eventually created his own records company.

The Vengaboys are more an euro-pop project than a real eurodance project at the litteral sense of the the term. Originally, "The Vengaboys" was a working name of the two Dutch DJ's, known as Danski and Delmundo. Their real names are Dennis van den Drieshen and Wessel van Diepen. Wessel van Diepen is a famous RadioDJ in the Netherlands and he wants to stay anonymous. Wessel van Diepen made more productions. In 1991 he got a big hit with James Brown is dead from L.A. style. In 1994 he got a project with Lick ft. Kentucky. Nakatomi from Children Of The Night is from Wessel too.
The origin of the Vengaboys, according to van Diepen, comes from the time when they were touring with their school bus across Spain from 1992 till 1997. In the summer they placed their equipment on various Spanish beaches to organize illegal beach parties. The parties usually ended when the Guardia Civil showed up. Being both Party-animals and producers, Danski and Delmundo had some Underground Club hits in 1996 and in 1997, which have been pressed in limited editions. They are also the producers of the E-Motion project. During one of the hottest Spanish summers (1996), The Vengaboys met up with Kim Sasabone and the other band members (Roy, Denice and Robin) at one of their beach parties. During the autumn of 1996 the idea grew that it was time to expand the over successful parties throughout the world. They would be performing under the name The Vengaboys ("Venga" means "come on" in Spanish) .
One of the band's particularity was that they were always wearing each a special outfit. The frontlady Kim Sasabone (April 1st 1974 from Salvador) always appeared wearing a sexy camouflage outfit. Roy Olivero-Den Burger (aka Roy Darman, born 31 July 1975, coming from Trinidad), then later his replacer Donny Latupeirissa, were dressed as a cowboy. Denise Van Rijswijk (born October 20th 1978, dancer from the Netherlands) wore a disco outfit. Robin Pors (born January 1st 1978) then Yorick Bakker (born July 10th 1976) played the role of a sailor.
Danski and Delmundo based themselves in a well-equipped studio in the northern part of Europe, while the band members continued their oversuccesful European tour under the name The Vengaboys. The first two singles only had a local success. Parada De Tettas, only featuring Kim (credited as Sonia), and only released in the Netherlands, reached number 14 in the charts. To Brazil was a Duitch summer hit, reaching the #22 position. Everything began with the single Up and Down, which was released in March 1997. It went Top 5 in the Netherlands, Denmark, France, Spain in fact, it was a big hit across Europe, reaching number 4 in the UK. The UK really caught the Venga-flu, where the band have since had two numbers ones with Boom Boom Boom Boom (including remixes by Brooklyn Bounce and the Klubbheads) and We're Going To Ibiza. Along with We Like To Party, these four singles have given the band a combined sales total of almost 2 million singles in the UK alone.
The first Vengaboys-album, first called The Party Album, then strangely renamed Greatest Hits, turned out to be a worldwide bestseller. It went platinum in the U.K., Germany, Scandinavia, Belgium, South America and India. The release in America and South Africa meant gold, while sales in Holland and Canada resulted in triple platinum. So far, the Vengaboys have sold over 10 million singles and 4 and a half million copies of their albums, proofing to be the most successful Dutch pop group ever.
In March 2000, the Vengaboys released their second album, called The Platinum Album, which includes the chart-topping hit singles Kiss (When The Sun Don't Shine) and Shalala lala. The expectations were that this album, which already went gold in the Netherlands, would exceed all previous sales. This album also introduced a new member : Yorick, who replaced Robin who wanted to pursue a solo-career.
Besides their musical talents, the Vengaboys have always found a way to draw the attention of the press. They once threw a 10000 $ amount cash into the audience during a concert in Barcelona ('Music for the people, money for the people'), promoted their single Kiss (When The Sun Don't Shine) by setting up the world record for the Longest Kiss ever and have been arrested by the police at an airport because of the dangerous looking 'bullet-belt' singer Kim usually wears. Also, an autograph-session in a warehouse in Tokyo had to be stopped when an immense amount of fans literally tore down the store, the band nearly survived a plane accident in Bombay and they made front-page headlines by refusing the Dutch Export Prize (they told they only accepted prizes awarded from the public). With more sunny music on the way and a fully booked tour schedule - they performed over 190 times in 32 different countries in the past year.
After Kiss they released Shala Lala, which became a world wide hit, but surprised the fans. It included a remix by Alice Deejay and an uncensored version of the video of Shalala Lala .
On the 15th of April at the TMF awards, the Vengaboys won an award for the best dance act Holland. Roy gave this award away to an fan, he said :" This award is for you, the fans !". The next single was Uncle John From Jamaica, although it had great expectations the chart positions were disappointing.
The following single to be released was Cheekah Bow Bow (That Computer Song), and it was not featuring Kim's voice but a computerized voice.
The management of Irish boy band Westlife ordered the Vengaboys to edit the video for their most recent single, Forever As One. The clip's original version featured a short scene in which the members of both bands greet each other. The next single to be released was entitled Take Me To The City. It had been originally released for the Charlie's Angels movie's soundtrack. "Take Me To The City is a real energetic song, with the familiar feel-good Vengaboys-sound. I think the filmmakers can be really satisfied with their choice", singer Kim says.
In 2002 Denice and Yorick left the band. They were replaced by Mark and Lilly.
2004 : the Vengaboys more or less broke up. Roy went on to become a flight attendant for KLM Dutch airlines after the band's breakup. Denise joined the Divas of Dance. She married Winston Post. Her full name changed to Denise Post Van Rijswijk.
2005 : Denise gave birth to a baby called Jayden Winston Johannes.
2006 : the Vengaboys appeared at G-A-Y on Saturday 15th July 2006, and performed eight of their singles. Roy was replaced by Donny. The song We Like to Party was played in Busch Stadium in the US after the final out of the 2006 World Series, which was broadcasted on Fox.
2008 : Denice released a cover of Paula Abdul's hit Straight Up. The Vengaboys did a UK tour in March and there are unconfirmed rumors about a new single entitled Partylife.
2010 : after 10 years of silence, the Vengaboys were back with a brand new single entitled Rocket to Uranus. The videoclip featured blogger Perez Hilton (rumors had first announced cameos of Lady Gaga or Alice Deejay).
2011 : According to rumors, the Vengaboys's next single could be All We Wanna Do. They performed it at several events last year, but no official confirmation was given.
2012 : the Vengaboys released a double CD Best Of (Australian Tour Edition). Chorus of Boom Boom Boom Boom was borrowed by Rye Rye. On their Twitter account, the Vengaboys accuse RIO of having stolen their We Like To Party synths for their latest single Party Shaker.
2013 : As of January, Vengaboys have been playing a new single called Nightlife Of Ibiza, which is scheduled for a Spring 2013 release. They are also rumored to be working on a brand new album in the studio. The new single was confirmed by their official tour page in early 2013.

Singer and songwriter Verena Carmen Rehm was born May 14th 1984 in Neuburg, Bavaria (Germany). She is the backing vocalist and pianist of Groove Coverage. She has many song writing credits both within and outside the group and also sings for many other German dance acts.
After attending kindergarten, Verena discovered her passion for music. In her autobiography on the Suprime Records website, Verena states that her interest began with her father's old piano, which lead her to begin piano lessons. At the age of 14, Verena joined the cover band Querbeet, spending 4 years with them as their lead singer and keyboardist.
At the age of 18 Verena was approached by Axel Konrad and Ole Wierk (aka DJ Valium), who asked her to join the team at Suprime Records. After debating against herself for a while she accepted. Verena, along with Markus Shaffarzyk (aka DJ Novus) was one of the faces for Groove Coverage when they first started, even though she was not the lead singer. This was because other vocalist Melanie Münch (Mell) was pregnant and could not travel to the locations of live gigs, photo shoots, and music video sets.
Verena has sung lead on a number of songs done by the group including, Lullaby for Love and Rock, and has had solos during the bridge of songs such as Only Love and Because I Love You. She appeared in two of the group's music videos, God is a Girl and The End, although in both of these songs Mell sings the lead while Verena provides backing vocals. Verena was the stage performer miming the lyrics to their hit songs while lead vocalist Mell was pregnant. Since then Verena has taken on a more behind the scenes or back seat role in the group, while she continues to write songs and record backing vocals she has been absent from video and photo shoots as well as live performances. Verena was one of the coproducers for the group's 21st Century album.
2004 : Verena sings lead for the song Face 2 Face by Future Trance United (a group formed by many successful German DJs, including Axel Konrad and Special D). The same year, she did vocals on Spring Break's single Big Bad Love. Working with Special D on his album Reckless, Verena wrote and provided lead vocals for the song Keep The Faith.
2005 : Verena was the voice on Spring Break's singles Shut up and on Age Pee's When the Rain Begins to Fall, 2 Axel Konrad projects.
2006 : Verena contributed to vocals for the Renegade Masterz (another Axel Konrad project) songs Chrystal Ship. She was also the voice on Age Pee's Hymn and Out of the Dark.
2007 : Verena did vocals on another Renegade Masterz single called Nasty Girl.
Verena runs a music school called Fashion Music, where she teaches students singing, piano and the art of music composition.

Oxygene (1996)

Magic Eyes (1997)

Twilight Zone (1997)

DJ Vertigo is a DJ and photographer. He comes from Germany, but after a photoshoot in Israel, he decided to stay there, because he was fascinated by that country. He became a DJ in Mazal, a club in Tel Aviv. There he met Yo-Di, a guy with whom he organized the first Israelian Rave with the slogan "Rave For Peace". As hymn for this rave they chose the song Oxygene originally composed by Jean Michel Jarre.
In Miami he met Anne Lindt, a model/singer. He played the first instrumental version of the song Oxygene for her, and she liked it very much. She thought with some vocals on it, the song would sound even better. So they recorded the new version that became a big success in 1996. The single included a Vocal Radio Mix, a Radio Mix, a Club Mix and a B-side called Encounters. Produced by G+M Cope, this was a big success.
In 1997 the song Magic Eyes was released, the same dream dance style as Oxygene, again with vocals with Anne Lindt and a great video. The CD included a Radio Mix, an X-Tended Club Mix, a Brooklyn Bounce Mix, a Spacefrog's EMS 2000 Mix and Object One Mix.
The latest song from Vertigo was called Twilight Zone. Once again featuring Anne Lindt, the CD single featured 4 versions : Radio Mix, a Club Premier Mix, a Tank Remix, a Jack Remix and a B-side : Interstellar.

Keep On Dreaming (5th Feb 1997)

From the "City of Angels" comes bi-lingual singer/songwriter Viva. Blessed with talented songwriting abilities, an impressive 7-octave voice, a kind heart and of course, looks that can kill, Viva has been singing and writing her whole sweet life. Her desire and passion is honest- simply to make beautiful music that moves people across a dance floor like graceful tornadoes.
Viva's first song Nirvana (a cover of a song originally released by El Bosco) featured Children of the Liceo Senior Choir. It was released in Spain, and quickly became a #1 song on the Billboard charts and remained #1 for 6 consecutive weeks. Nirvana was released under Edel records in Germany. Viva's second song Keep On Dreaming also became a radio hit throughout Central America, reaching the #1 spot on the radio play lists. And still remains in the top 10 most solicited songs.
As a songwriter, Viva has written many songs as well as co-written many hit songs for various Latin American Superstars including Marta Sanchez, Lourdes Robles, Lorena Herrera, Maika and Gemini. And now we have the opportunity to hear an album with Viva as the songwriter, producer and vocalist, all on one CD.
Viva just finished recording a monster of a production for her new Spanish CD containing 9 songs, 8 of which were written by Viva herself. The first song currently being promoted as the first single is Mi Corazon, which is written, arranged and produced by Viva with a great "latin" flavor to go with her image.
Not to be confused with the Italian artist Viva (Je T'Aime I Love You...).

She did background vocals on almost all Bliss Team singles too.
Viviana was born in Torino (North Italy) on 28 May 1972. She started singing before talking : she was only three years old. has been studying piano since 6 to 17, and then she stopped due to school studies and then to University, Biological specialization. She entered Bliss Co. Studios on October 1993 where she met Simone and started working with him. She loves singers as Cher, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin and Tina Turner. She loves cats and she thinks to be one of them.
In 1997 Viviana left Bliss Corporation. Since then she started singing and writing a lot of records... but she is still trying to find someone who publish them.
More recently Viviana took part to a project called Insomnia. The project was created in July 1998. They play funk, RnB and disco dance of the 70s. Many singles had been recorded but none were released as singles : Gaia, You Don't Know What Love Is, Twisted... The project was a cover band performing live music concerts all around Italy.
2004 : Viviana (under the name of Vivian B.) joined again with Simone to create a new project called DB Reloaded (they could not use the name Da Blitz since it was protected by copyrights). The first single is entitled Revenge.
If Viviana hadn't become a singer, she believes she could have become a West Highland White Terrier breeder. She herself owns 2 Westies.

Producers and songwriters Jonas Von Der Burg and Niclas Von Der Burg did songwriting, production and remixing for names like Leila K, Da Buzz, Velvet, September, Alcazar, Ace of Base, E-Type, Lucky Twice and many more.
Niclas von der Burg started out as a professional guitar/bass guitar player in the early 90's, touring all over Europe with Swedish pop act Stakka Bo. Jonas started his productional career by building a studio in 1990, in the outskirts of Stockholm. He signed a publishing deal with CBS songs, which became Sony/ATV Music Publishing in 1991. Jonas had his first major success as songwriter and producer in 1993 with Stakka Bo's smash hit Here We Go.
In 1996 Niclas decided to focus all his attention on songwriting, a decision that soon proved to be the right one, giving him cuts on platinum-selling albums by artists such as Ace of Base and Sanne Salomonsen. When Niclas signed his first contract with EMI Music Publishing in 2001 he started developing the ideas which have now made him one of Sweden's most successful songwriters and an up and coming star on the global market.
In 2002, he teamed up with Jonas von der Burg and songwriter Anoo Bhagavan, with the explicit goal of finding and developing artists and writing/producing entire albums for them. The main focus was on dance/pop acts for both radio and dance floor. The trio got off to a flying start when they discovered 18-year old female dance/pop vocalist September, and the first single La La La (Never Give It Up) was released in the spring of 2003. The song was a huge radio and chart hit in Sweden and the next two singles We Can Do It and September All Over followed in the same fashion. The album, September, was released in the fall of 2003.
In the following year Niclas and his partners wrote three gold-selling singles (This Is The World We Live In, Physical and Start The Fire) for Swedish disco divas Alcazar. The Album Dancefloor Deluxe quickly reached platinum status, due to the huge success of the singles, especially This Is The World We Live In, which was a major European hit finding top 20 spots on both the UK and the German singles charts. The trio now moved on to writing/producing two major hit singles for Swedish dance/pop act Velvet.
At the end of 2004, Niclas, Jonas and Anoo started working on what was to be their major breakthrough as a team, the second September album. The first single Satellites, released in May 2005, was an instant hit in Sweden and quickly reached platinum status. The song refused to die and was one of the most played songs on both commercial and national radio stations all through 2005, and one of the most downloaded songs on iTunes. The credible Swedish music magazine Sonic named it one of the best 15 euro disco songs of all time, writing: "The team of producers behind this lush dream, painted in equal parts viscose and house, have understood the genius of the eternally simple". The second single Looking For Love was released in October 2005 and and also made it to the top of the charts. The album In Orbit followed soon after and was awarded "Best Club/Dance Album" at the Swedish Grammy Awards 2006 and "Best Dance" at the Nordic NRJ Radio Awards in Helsinki.
The world was now starting to pay attention to September and the three songwriters behind her. Deals were quickly signed with 54 countries including USA, UK, Germany, France, Spain, Russia and Australia. At the moment September is speeding up the charts in Spain and France and is soon to be released in the UK, USA & Germany.
Meanwhile, Niclas von der Burg and his collaborators have moved on to the new, very promising pop duo Lucky Twice, consisting of two 16-year old girls. Their single Lucky had a lot of success in France and Spain.

Being produced by Andy Matthew, Vyck Vyo is a project in which the traditionalism of European dance and the modernism of today's commercial dance music come together. All this is combined with Vyck Vyo's unique vocal talents and capabilities to form the right totality!
Vyck Vyo got influenced by this magical music at a very early age and can still recall the moment when he heard it for the first time. After meeting Andy Matthew the composer and producer of the songs via the Internet they started this project.
The first single Elena is a very nice dance song with Hi-NRG influences reminding of Modern Talking. The follow-up single is entitled Angelina.
