N-Trance was founded by Dale Longworth and Kevin O'Toole ; back in 1991 they met at a Manchester college whilst studying on a sound engineering course. They decided to form a band which went through a variety of names before ending up with N-Trance.

In late 1991 they came to the attention of some local labels and, aftera little deliberation, plumped for PWL-off shoot 380 Records (now Eastern Bloc Records) in January 1992. Following a frustrating year without a commercial release they got out of that deal and eventually signed to AATW (All Around The World) in September 1993.

Their first release was Set You Free (the video cost only £ 5,000) which on this occasion reached #82 in the national chart. It was re-released in April '94 when it peaked at #39 - at last a top 40 hit and that was thought to be the end of Set You Free.

Turn Up The Power was brought out in October of the same year and went straight into the national chart at 23. Featuring the superb voice of Loveland vocalist Rachel McFarlane and raps by T1-K, Turn Up The Power really established them as a band who make quality music. It also served to re-awaken interest in Set You Free which was re-released in January of last year. Upon its third release Set You Free really did fly into the charts, debuting at #6, it eventually peaked at #2 - selling a massive 600 000 units in the UK. It was, in fact, the sixth biggest selling single of the year and elevated them to new heights with success across the world including top 20 status in Europe and Australia.

Having a hit of the proportions of Set You Free did present a problem : the follow-up single really did have to be something special. Stayin' Alive featured Ricardo Da Force - formerly of the KLF. When he heard the demo for Stayin' Alive, Ricardo thought it was a track that he had to do. Upon its release in the UK it debuted at #2 - which gave some indication of how strongly it was anticipated by N-Trance's rapidly expanding fan-base and the general public alike. Internationally, Stayin Alive was one of the biggest UK exports of 1995, reaching #1 in Australia and being top 5 in almost every country of the world.

In November 1995, N-Trance's long awaited debut album, Electronic Pleasure, was finally available. It comprised 12 tracks including all the singles. The album did go a little deeper than just being three or four singles packaged with eight fillers; every track was there on merit.

People have commented on how the three singles released so far were differed from each other - the Euro-style Turn Up The Power, 140 bpm breakbeat Set You Free and the groove of Stayin' Alive. The variation of styles continued on the album, but all tracks had the common theme of being great songs (especially the tracks (Just) Let It Go, Do You Wanna Rock and I Will Take You There). Other artists featured on the album included the multi-talented David Grant and his choir; one of the World's best saxophonist's Snake Davis, the female vocalist Gillian Wisdom and the superb ex-Love Decade vocalist Jerome Stokes.

Their next single was Electronic Pleasure - the title track.Once again featuring the raps of Ricardo Da Force and the vocals of Gillian Wisdom it was another superb euro single, probably their best ever, and an obvious smash to follow the success of the three previous hits. It reached #11 in the UK chart. The video, shot in a freezing cold morgue in a disused mental hospital, featured a World War II army tank.

In 1995 N-Trance also made remix for the single Do You Wanna Party of DJ Scott featuring Lorna B.

In 1997 they were back with a single called D.I.S.C.O. a real disco groove in 90's style (the music reminded a track of the Compagnie Creole but it was originally sung by Ottawan in 1980). The raps were done by Ricardo Da Force. Then came The Mind of the Machine with vocals by Kelly Llorenna, also featuring the Brit actor Steven Berkof, which entered top 20. In September 1997 they released a cover of Do Ya Think I'm Sexy (a cover of Rod Stewart 's hit), a song in the same style and concept as their old cover hit Stayin' Alive. Rod Steward did the vocals himself, duet with Ricardo as rapper.

N-Trance released a single in March 1998 called Broken Dreams (an adaptation of Mr. Misters song Broken Wings). N-Trance also finally released the album Happy Hour, containing all the newest hits, a total of 11 songs, unfortunately very far from Eurodance.

Later in 1998 N-Trance released a cover of the Guns'n'Roses hit Paradise City (with Ricardo Da Force and Kelly Llorenna). Their last original single so far was called Tears In The Rain (a duet of Kelly Lorenna with Jerome Stokes). They also did a tour in Australia with with rap legends Run DMC

2000 : they released a cover of Michael Jackson's Shake Ya Body (Down On The Ground) featuring the rapper Lee Woolfe and as usual Kelly Llorenna. This would be the last N-Trance single featuring male rap.

In October 2001, N-Trance released a remix of Set You Free : it contained remixes by Rob Searle, Voodoo & Serano, BM Dubs and Tidy Trax.

One year later, they released a Best of album which was hugely successful. Then in September 2002, they released a brand new single featuring the voice of Kelly Llorenna : Forever, which was pretty succesful. The video was shot at Camelaird Shipyard in Birkenhead, inside one of the biggest warehouses in the country

2003 : Destiny was the name of their following single, once again with Kelly Llorenna, it scored another top 40 hit. Produced by Michael Menke (who produced some videos for Scooter), video was shot entirely on location in Mallorca. During 2003 a new studio was built and work began on their third studio album, Nightfall originally planned for spring 2004. The same year, in September, they produced a track for the singer Karen Parry.

2004 : N-trance were back with a new female vocalist, called Gillian Tennant (ex Q-tex vocalist). The new single is entitled I'm In Heaven. Original title was planned to be "You're in heaven" but it sounded too much like "urine heaven" so they changed it.

2005 : N-trance producers were behind the project Freeloaders and their single So Much Love To Give. It entered Top 10 in the UK and Top 50 in Germany. Their dancer Lee Limer did a quick appearance in the TV show Never Mind the Buzzcocks.

2006 : On 8th October N-Trance recorded their new single entitled Nothing Lasts Forever. The following moth, they performed it for the first time in Liverpool. It was planned for release as promo in 2007.

The team planned to finish the previously uncompleted album The Mind Of The Machine. They'll probably do a limited run of CDs but will also be available as a download. It will only feature vocals by members of N-Trance between 1996 and 1998. After this has been done they plan to start a new N-Trance album from scratch, and the old songs that we released that weren't on any previous albums won't be included. They explain that album could be a bit darker than usual, and that they are "tempted to go back to their roots and do a big beat piano style album".

2007 : in February, some new tracks were recorded : As The Sun Goes Down, a dance song, and When Tomorrow Comes, a slow romantic song. No date for a new single however...

2008 : N-trance team were the resident DJ for Clubland Ibiza this Summer, so there will be Kelly Llorenna singing in there quite regularly.

2009 : the producers presented the new performers team who would front the project : the new vocalist Lynsey-Jane Barrow joined the former members T-1K and Lee Limer, the original dancer and showman from the infamous stage performances back in the early 90’s. Album The Mind Of The Machine finally out, as a digital self-release.

2010 : N-Trance released a new single entitled Is This Love, featuring their new vocalist Lynsey Jane Barrow. The name of the forthcoming album is Brainstorm. In October Joe Cox, one of their former dancers, passed away.

N-Trance nowadays are Kevin O'Toole, Rachel, MCB and DJ Junior K.

Nadia Robichaud was born in a family of artists. She sung in choirs. She was competing in a aerobic dance competitions that she had been performing, training 24 hours per week for this, and also teaching for several years. She also studied at university in psychology and sociology, trained a group of synchronised swimmers. In 1993 she won the Novice National Aerobic Champion title.

She visited recording studios for engineers to cut her music for an aerobic competition. That's how Frank Terriers, manager for Emjay and Capital Sound, noticed her dancing and singing skills and offered her an audition. She went in studio and they had her sing the chorus of Live On Love. That's how everything started

Disciplined, open-minded, hard-working, agile, passionate, here is how she was described on her official website. Her music has been signed in many countries such as Japan, Asia, Poland, Romania, Mexico, USA, Portugal and the Middle East. Her album Kiss Of Destiny has been released in both Japan and Russia while her singles have been on more than 250 000 albums.

The album was produced by Daniel Bouliane, co-produced by Francois Tessier. It was recorded by Daniel Bouliane & Luc Gregoire, mixed by Luc Gregoire. The songs were recorded & mixed at Onde-Spirale Studio. The guitar on track 6 was by Jose Bergeron, the piano on track 11 by Francois Berube. Back vocals on tracks 2,7 & 12 were done by Pascal Lecoz. Nadia herself also did some additional back vocals. All tracks were arranged by Eric-Jean Baptiste for Premier Muzik Productions at In-Da-Mix Studio, Montreal. It also featured ragga-raper TC (real name: Jason Welch)

Nadia did some TV appearances in Canada, Much Music's show "Electric Circus" and Musique Plus show "Bouge De La". She kept on practicing aerobics, studied in the university and was always on the road to perform. She got exhausted and developed vocal nodules because she was straining her voice too much. Her contract ended in 1996 and the projects she tried to create afterwards did not take off. She finally realized that yoga was actually what she wanted to do.

In 1999 she re-released her album in Japan, it includes Show Me What You Got as bonus track, which was released in Canada in late1998 only on vinyl. The album has two other tracks What's The Problem and the very danceable Your Freedom. Nadia released a new song on a Canadian compilation Le Peep Show feat. Nadia Release Your Soul.

Nadia has come back to her previous job, teaching in the Ottawa/Gatineau region in group fitness and personal training. She is also a certified Reiki Master and a Yanumoja Yoga teacher. She is also the choreographer for "DanceIt International". She founded Studio Lotus.

2005 : she was new RO Noon Television Show Leader of fitness segment.

He's My Favourite DJ (7th Nov 1997)
Miss You (21st Aug 1998)
If You Wanna Dance (28th Feb 2003)

Nancy Anna Francina Coolen was born 10th September 1973 in Asten. Almost from the minute she could walk, she has been busy with singing and dancing. Her older brother Marcellino was a DJ and made her discover a lot of music. And at the age of 4 Nance joined the local ballet, called the Dinky Dancers. The first two years she danced classic ballet but from the age of 6 she preformed pop-ballet, becoming the 'Miss Dinky Dancer 1984'. At the age of 14 she stroke her audience with a performance in a fashion show.

Only 15 years old, Nance was discovered in the disco Freebird, a local DJ introduced her to Ruud Van Rijen. She admits that she was a little young to hang out in discos, but Asten was like a village at that time and they would let her in. And before she knew she stood next to Captain Hollywood and became one of the members of Twenty 4 Seven. They, together with Hanks & Jacks, were one of the first Eurodance-acts. After Capt. Hollywood left the band, things became very quiet around Nance. After a job in a supermarket producer Ruud van Reijen asked Nance, if she still would be a part of Twenty 4 Seven, Nance agreed, teaming with the new rapper Stay C.

The first year remained quiet for the reformed Twenty 4 Seven, but in 1993, they suddenly became popular all over the world again. Nance just reached the age of 20 when Slave To The Music entered the charts worldwide. They could not go out without being surrounded by fans and toured worldwide. Nance almost did not have the time to see her dog, a collie called Manou.

During the first months in 1995 things went wrong around Twenty 4 Seven. During this months everyone denied the argues, but they decided to be quiet for a while. In this time Nance looked beyond Twenty 4 Seven, she presented a TV-program on RTL 5 (a Dutch TV-channel) In this show, called 'Liefde is…' (Love is …), a boy and girl were coupled by Love Is... strips. These boy & girl were chosen out of 200 Dutch youths, and Nance had to keep them under control. This program stopped after one season, even if the youths, the people this show was meant for, were positive about it…

During one of the many photo-sessions, Nance met pop-photographer William Rutten. And on the 4th of May Nance & William got married.

Because Nance had a contract with Twenty 4 Seven till July 1996, things became very quiet around her : no new single, no new program, just silence. But many gossip magazins in Holland suddenly wrote about them. Between August 1995 and July 1996 no new material has been released, in many interviews she there would be some, but that didn't happen. The contract with Twenty 4 Seven didn't allow neither Stay-C nor Nance to release new singles.

But Nance didn't lay down. She started a solo carrer, beginning with Love Is in 1995, released under CNR-Music then ZYX the same year. It contained remixes by Martin Boer (from 2 Brothers on the 4th Floor, aka Dancability) and 2 bonus tracks : Shot Of Love and Beats Of Love. It was followed by the very energetic Big Brother Is Watching You and by Kiss It in 1996 (which contained 2 additional versions of Big Brother). An album was even released but it is very hard to find, one could even doubt it really existed (the reference is CD/MC 533 899-2/4).

Live Nance brought stunning shows, also under difficult circumstances. She did festivals together with All Saints, Five and the Backstreet Boys. Although the audience mainly exists of little girls Nance knew how to play them and becomes an absolute favorite. After that she did stadiums for a live audience of more the 60 000 people before the soccer match Chelsea - Feyenoord and performed on festivals like the well-known and extremely popular Beach Pop Festival.

Then came the single He's My Favourite DJ, produced by Cooly D (from Flip Da Scrip). She wrote the script of the video : the heroin of the clip falls in love with the DJ, sees that he is involved with other women and shoots him, ending herself in a mental hospital... Not politically correct enough for the TV channel TMF which censored the video.

Meanwhile, together with Twenty 4 Seven featuring Stella and Stay-C, they performed very much. Moreover on stage solo, she co-hosted some TV-shows.

One of the remixes of her last single Miss You was made by Sash! who also produced the record. Once again the video clip was remarkable. The censored version, the original being too explicit, went on high rotation on every major network and included besides Nance another well known actor, Ferry Somogyi.

Herman Brood, a Dutch singer, performed a song together with Nance and Des'ray from the 2 Brothers on the 4th floor. The three did Here There And Everywhere from the Beatles. This song could be seen on Dutch television at the end of November on La La La Live!

In the following period Nance decided to make a career move towards TV host. She hosted a popular show called Rappatongo some 200 times and became a regular face on prime time National TV. In the meantime Nance was involved in many One Of shows and major TV events and hosted a new game show called Lingo for National TV that was broadcasted on a daily prime time network. She also appeared Vet Heftig, and played the role of Linda in the episode #2.6 of Pittige tijden in 1997.

1999 : Nance released a single in Dutch with the singer Henk Westbroek on the 4th of January.

2000 : Nance divorced from William Rutten.

2014 : she joined TV channel RTL4 and hosted show Familie Gezocht.

In May, she took part to the charity collect "Lock me up - Free a girl" to help free girls forced into prostitution in India. In August, a 2k16 remixes packages for the Jockeyboys featuring Nance Higher was released.

In 1991, she released 2 singles : Party Girl (written by Mimi Seton) and Groove You (produced by Corrado Rizza Corrado Rizza, Domenico Scuteri and Gino "Woody" Bianchi). In 1992, she released the song Stop Running Away

She was featured on Music's single I'm Changing which was recorded in France at the Studios de la Seine, and released under Airplay records.

Shut Your Mouth was a eurodance track allying Naomie's vocals with an uncredited rapper. It was produced by Claudio Mingardi, Gianluca Vivaldi et Riccardo Salani from label DUE. The trio was known for standing behind projects such as Fourteen 14. Fun fact : it was featured on French compilation Dance Machine 2, which featured Djeneba on its cover.

It was followed by the also very nice euro single I Need Your Love, produced by the same team, and the DWA style was this time really obvious. It was included on the French compilations Dance Machine 4 on the cover of which Djeneba appeared again.

Fairytale (2000)

Despite the exotic name Neja, Agnese Cacciola was born 15th August 1972, in Turin under the Leo Zodiac sign. Her musical past is a long road of Jazz, Gospel and Celtic but she arises to success thanks to Dance Music.

Songs like Restless and Shock can surely be defined Super Hits and in only one year have made Neja one of the most famous and danced artist not only in Italy but also Europe riding the top of both the sales and the Dance charts. Neja's highlight as an artist is due to the single The Game (also the title of her debut album), with which she wins the 1999 "Disco per L'estate" and makes her present in every Festivalbar '99 show.

Due to the amazing 1998 and 1999 results abroad of Neja the New Music International believes that Neja is ready for a musical carrier wider than what the Dance had offed till then and this is how an album where the artist can show her talent 360° wide was born. Neja, author of the 10 tracks included in the album, from the Dance beats of Restless and Shock, easily slides from pop dance tracks like The Game all the way to pure pop like Fairytale or Mum's Day.

The entire album, extremely present in the Italian and Foreign market, lyrically touched the artist's relationship with love, hope, her parents and God. It also contains a CD-ROM that includes an interview, photos and the video clips that support her hits.

In late January, occasionally, Neja along with her producer Alex Bagnoli put together a dance mix of Fairytale that immediately smashes through the radio and sales net thanks to the powerful combination of the latin and dance flavour that rides the musical european trends. One more summer and Neja strikes again. This time the new hit annouces the second upcoming album and the single for this summer 2000 is Singing Nanana. A latin based track published in different versions: a Dance mix, Club mix, the Original and the Cuban cut, recorded totally live with bongos and trumpets.

2005 : Neja released a new single called Who's Gonna Be, not exactly eurodance unfortunately. From 2003 to 2005, Neja performed for her devoted fans in Italy and other parts of Europe, as well as in India as a representative of an Italian clothing company

2006 : Neja's new single was entitled Miracleland.

2007 : She started working with producer Ivan Russo, who scored a smash hit with Ilona Mitrecey. In April, the online release of a remix of the famous Madonna tune Like A Prayer was planned. This project started from the idea of the French DJ Benjamin Braxston.

Her new single Catwalk had some success in Italy and France.

2008 : Neja's new album Acousticlub was released on 30th May. It included 8 covers chosen among the songs that she used to like when she was a teenager, plus The game and Destiny. All songs were rearranged in a jazzy style, which should not really please all dance fans... The first single is Sweet Dreams, cover of the famous Eurythmics hit.

From June 23rd and during all Summer, Neja will be co-presenting a new radio show called Estatissima.

2009 : Neja's new single is entitled Loving You. The album has been produced in cooperation with two DJs from Turin (Peter Damir and Gianluca Argante - production) and it is currently being promoted in England.

2010 : Neja was featured on Lanfranchi and Farina's new single, entitled Sorry.

Boat On The River (1995)

Musical team : Toby Gad (co-writer and co-composer), Jacqueline Nemorin (vocalist and co-producer) and Freeda Goodlet as backing vocalist.

Nemorin's first singles were rather in the creole style.

The first single Accillelao was released under Metronome Musik GmbH in 1998, then re-released under BMG Ariola in 1993.

The second single was called It Feels Good To Be Loved. It came from the album Creole Dance. Composed and written by Toby Gad and J. Nemorin, it was produced by Frank Farian and Toby Gad and contained a B-side entitled Blood Of The Kings. A remixes CD maxi contaning mixes by the Rapino bros was released afterwards.

In 1994, 2 songs by Nemorin appeared on the soundtrack of the movie Affären : Why and Shine.

Mission Of Love was released under the label EMI. It contained 3 tracks : the Radio edit, the Classic version and a B-side called Angelina. Prince Attiogbe EL Chino contributed to the African vocals.

This lovely eurodance song was used as titlesong for the movie Die unendlische Geschichte III. An album entitled Mission Of Love was also planned but apparently it was never released...

Jacqueline also contributed to the songwriting of Love You The Magic Of The Fall and PYT Simple Things (on their album Down With Me). She did vocals on Oli P. Show Me Love (on his album O.Ton).

Burning Time (1994)

Musical team : Bruce Ingram and Steve Erinle. Burning Time featured vocals by Doretta Carter and The GUV'NOR.

Strangely, the title on the CD maxi sleeve was Burntime (because the song was based on the original computergame soundtrack "Burntime" by Hannes Seifert), while in the tracklisting mentioned Burning Time. And the name of the project was written Neo, in almost the same way that of the French cellphone operator Bouygues Telecom would use for his logo Neo, 15 years later...

The single was released under label GSE Records and licensed in France under Scorpio.

Keep On Dancing (1991)
Dance to the Trance (1993)
Zi Pompa (1993)
Get Down Everybody (1994)

Neon Light was created by Roby Arduini, Gianfranco Bortolotti and Luca Lauri. All singles were licensed under ZYX Records in Germany.

Their very first single Keep on Dancing was released in 1991 and it featured the voice of Fonda Rae, a famous disco diva. All tracks were written and produced by R. Arduini, G. Bortolotti, Luca Lauri, L. Cittadini, Diego Leoni, Mhara Srl and B. Mikulski.

Get Down Everybody featured a female vocalist and samples of male raps. It was mixed by (apart from the last mix), producer and arranged by Gianpiero Viani and Mauro Picotto, written by Gianpiero Viani, Mauro Picotto, Pierre Feroldi, and Gianfranco Bortolotti . It was licensed under ZY Xin Germany.

Dance to the Trance featuring Ras Kwame was released in 1993. All tracks were produced by Gianfranco Bortolotti. It was realised by DJ Pagany & R. Arduini, mixed by R. Arduini and B. Guerrini. It contained many elements that would be re-used on the next single Zi Pompa.

Zi Pompa (featuring African Power) was released the same year. It was produced by Gianfranco Bortolotti, recorded and arranged by L. de Preti, Magic Domingo and B. Guerrini, mixed by B. Guerrini at Media "Non Smoking" Studio. The club mix was an uplifting fusion of global beats, African style samples of "Zi Pompa, Pompa..." bounce along in a Balaeric fashion. The Atmosphear Mix, transformed the track into a hypnotic, marching, military style dance track.

Memories (1995)
Just Another Dream (8th Nov 2019)

Musical team : M-cube (Maurizio Tognarelli, Marco Galeotti, Marco Genovesi), Gianni Bini, Fulvio Perniola.
Records company : DWA Records.

The first single released by this Italian project was the very soft and romantic Send Me An Angel (a cover of a song initially released by Real Life). It used the voice of Sandra Chambers and was also covered by many projects such as Mythos & DJ Cosmo and Caya. The following single Breakdown also featured Sandy (it was the first single of Netzwerk to be released in Brazil).

It was less evident to know who was behind the vocals of Memories (very successful in Israel where it reached # 3) and Passion (# 26 in Israel). For some, they were done by Marco Galeotti, who also sung for the project Sunbrother (Tell Me What). But according to DWA records Sunbrother's current singer was named Patrix. Actually, on the sleeve of Memories one can read the name of Simone Jackson, aka Simone Jay, and it is more likely that she did the vocals on both records. Memories was covered by another Italian project named Fontana.

Another single was entitled Dream, released under Volumex records, a different label but still the same producing team..

Take Me To Heaven (1994)

Italian production by the trio Baraldi-Trivellato-Sacchetto (sometimes Trivellato, Signorelli, Merkx). Their first song Take Me To Heaven (released in June 1994 in Italy under the label Italian Style, and on the 31st of October of the same year in Germany) featured the voice Jenny Bersola and the rapper FX.

It was followed by Make My Day, Don't You Bring Me Love, Feels Like Heaven.

I Dream Of You was not so NRGetic as the previous, seemed that Nevada was leading to dream-house like many other Italian acts. At least this song contained all those pianos that any dream track must have. According to rumors, the vocals could have been provided by Simona Jackson (Jimone Jay).

Smile (Festival mix) (3rd Feb 2017)

Behind New Limit stand the Spanish vocalist and songwriter Amparo Ríos with her 2 brothers Sebastian and Jose who did the studio work. On stage Amparo appeared with dancer Sonia Banuls, and Jose Gimenez to the keyboards. This young Valencian formation saw the light in 1994.

The very first single Smile was released in October 1994. It was produced by Sebastian Ríos, Jose V. Ríos and A. Esteve. It was available in the stores and massively played on radios in 1995. It was featured on the compilation La Ruta Del Bakalao in 1999.

The same year Amparo and Sebastián Rios received the Teddysound prize as the most noticeable author of Dance Music of 1995.

Then came Scream, released one year later. It was produced by F.J. Pascual and M.J. Fernández. The success was important too, therefore they started a national tour. Between 1996 and 1998 they did more than 100 live gigs many important places such as Island Fantasy (Barcelona), Escorpia, Chassis, The Sinia, and many open air concerts in Valencia, Seville, Madrid, Galicia.

In 1996, came the single In My Heart, produced by Sebastian Ríos, Amparo Ríos, F.J. Pascual and M.J. Fernández. It was published under Discoshop Lliria. The same year, New Limit released Lies, produced by Sebastian Ríos and published under N.L. Records, Max Music. Lies appeared on the compilation Maquina Total 9. This year, they won the ZONA Award of best dance act. They also received an award for being the first among the 10 most danced projects on the 26th of May.

In 2002, the single Surround was released. The same year, the record label Contraseña records released a limited edition album that compiled all group's hits together with other productions with Kriss and Yoly and other hits which would be released in the future. This album was for professional deejays only and not for sale.

In 2003, a CD entitled New Limit feat High Density was released. It included the original versions of Scream and In My Heart, as well as 2 singles of High Density called Protection and The End.

Amparo Ríos could have also taken part to a project called Kriss (or Kryss) which is actually the real project behind Strangers (Extranos) and Tonight (Esta Noche), often wrongly attributed to New Limit.

2004 : they did a big tour in which they sung all their hits in memory of the 90s. They started working on a new project including all the new tendencies, without deviating form the spirit of New Limit. In May they released My Destiny under Contraseña Records.

2005 : they did a tour in Spain again.

2006 : Smile was remixed by AT (Alberto Tapia) and released under the name AT feat New Limit.

2015 : after The Game, New Limit released a new single entitled Run To Me

2017 : they published a videoclip for the 2k17 remix of their hit Smile

This Is The Night (1994)
Let Me Take (4th Mar 1996)

Angel Guy (1999)

New System is a project of Federico Scavo, Johnny Parker and Riccardo Menichetti.

Their first release This Is The Night was out in 1994. The vocalist was at first thought to be Serena Volpini, the pretty girl who appears in the videoclip. But actually, vocals could rather belong to Petra Magoni. It was a hit, especially in Canada where the project received 4 platinum discs for selling over 400 000 copies.

Then came Let Me Take in 1996. It was still featuring Serena Volpini's photo on the sleeve, but according to rumors Emanuela Berti was the real voice.

Follow-up song was Let You Dance in 1997, then Angel Guy in 1999. Both were only released on compilation only. They could be featuring an uncredited studio vocalist called Antonella Massaro (who also contributed to Tracy, another project of Riccardo Menichetti).

The singles were released under the label X-Energy.

Newmill is a project of the Italian label New Music International, based in Milano. Their first single was entitled I Won't Change Your Mind. It was so succesful that a remixes CD was even released afterwards. It was produced by Cinzia Donti and Isabella Colliva, mixed by Alex Bagnoli. The female vocalist sounds like Sandy Chambers.

The follow-up single was called Keep Me, another awesome eurodance track featuring a solo female vocalist. It was arranged, programmed, played & mixed by Alex Bagnoli.

Then came As Long As, composed by A. Catharell, N. Bradley, and D. Coristi. Executive Production : Pippo Landro, vox by S'Dolce

Another track was released in February 1994 under the same project name (or maybe New Mill instead of Newmill), but there's no proof it would be the same project. This track was entitled Stay Away.

The track Love Me was released in 1999. It was produced by Pippo Landro. It contained a BBC CLub mix, a BBC radio edit and a BBD dub version.

Then came This Is A Strange World. It was arranged and mixed by E. Toffa and Skautch, producer by M. Sacchi, P. Verlanzi and Pippo Landro, written by A. Ronconi, A. Summa, Names and R. Faccani.

Newton is the stage name of Billy Myers, a former fireman who had to quit his day job because of the sudden international success in the pop/dance scene. Newton has been singing in his hometown Manchester for over nine years, both as solo artist and as frontman to several bands. According to the legend, he was spotted singing in a club and 2 weeks later he was already inside of the studios at Love This (the label from Mike Stock and Matt Aitken) recording his debut single Sky High. The truth is a little bit different, because Sky High was actually made from samples of the original song by band Jigsaw, with the voice of their lead singer Desmond Roy Dyer. This song went Top 10 in Australia, and became a dance classic in many other countries. The single included a Radio Edit, a Hiza Kite Mix, a Kaiser Height Mix and a B-side called Up, Down Round & Round. 2 different videoclips were shot for the song.

However, the lack of career development persuaded him to seek out Dome Records, an independent company from the UK. It was there where Peter Hammond (a legendary PWL mix master) produced his following single, a cover to Dan Hill's Sometimes When We Touch, which sold 35000 units in Australia and reached peak position No. 32 on the UK. Newton has achieved success in almost all the countries where dance and pop music are messed up, like Brazil, Japan, Southeast Asia, South Africa and Thailand.

His debut album was released in the beginning of 1997 in Australia, and there it was called Sweetest Secret. Videos for 5 songs of the album were filmed in Sydney. Several songs of the album were written by Newton himself. But Newton was also eyeing his home market : the album was retitled Sometimes When We Touch for the UK and We're All Alone In Japan.

The album also contained a remake of the Stock-Aitken-Waterman classic Free To Love Again, produced by Pete Hammond, and a cover of Nik Kershaw’s Oxygen. And to show the softer side of Newton, there were two ballads. One of them, How Long, was written by John McLaughlin and Dave James, who had written hits for UK artists 911 and Michelle Gayle.

The double single Don't Worry was released in 1997. Apart form the radio version, the first CD contained 2 mixes (Paradise Mix and Handbaggers Mix) plus an extended version of Sometimes When We Touch as B-side. The second CD included a Northern Noise Boys Extended Mix, a Tyme NRGMix, a Dreamin' Dub and a B-side entitled All Out of Love. It was very popular in the clubs of Korea.

The same year, Newton released a nice cover version of Boz Scaggs' old classic We're All Alone. All Out of Love was released in 1998. It was a cover version of a song originally sung by Air Supply. Ther were only 2 versions of the song on the CD maxi : Radio Version and Mark Duffy Club Mix. There were also 2 versions of Sweetest Secret (a Pete Hammond radio mix and a Hot Tracks Remix by Steven Tucker), and also a song called Seasons Change.

Then came He Don't Love You Like I Love You, the UK version of this single included no less than 5 different mixes and a B-side entitled Free To Love Again. The Bona Club Mix, House Mix and the Bona Sera Remix were done by John Springate. A Pete Hammond remix of Newton's Love and Affection can be found on compilation Euro 2000

2008 : Newton and his band made of guitarist Matt Hadfield, bassist Dave Lloyd and drummer Pete Akid got signed under U4iA records and recorded songs for his new album Time to Believe which was finally released in 2012. Newton tour in the United Kingdom.

No relationship at all with rave project Newton (Streamline, Wanna Dance All Day).

Martha's Harbour (1999)

Female vocalist for the project Strike.

Victoria Newton is a versatile performer freely moving between musical genres; jazz standards, latin, funk and disco. She performs songs in Spanish, Italian, French and Brazilian Portuguese. Her charisma, powerful vocal performances and boundless energy make her one of the most exciting vocalists working today. She began her musical career in Perth (Western Australia) where she studied classical music and jazz. Her talent was recognised when she became a finalist in The Australian Singing Competition.

In 1990, London became her next major destination and she quickly established a name for herself on the jazz and latin scene. She collaborated with acid-jazz recording artist Ronny Jordan and became lead singer with latin/jazz-fusion band Cayenne.

She has worked with many luminaries of British jazz including David Newton, Gareth Williams, Jonathan Gee, Marc Parnell and Ian Thomas, appearing at venues such as Pizza on the Park, The 606 Club, The Vortex and Smollensky's on the Strand. In The 606 Club she Victoria song with Steve Rubie's (606club owner) latin band, called Samara. Originally that band had a purely instrumental outfit, till Steve Rubie heared her singing in the mid-'90's and he added her to the line-up.

Victoria's affair with dance music began when recording vocals for a friend at the studios of Fresh Records in Notting Hill, London in 1992. The following year she was featured on Eden's club track Do You Feel For Me which entered the Top 10 of the American Billboard Dance Charts.

Towards the end of 1994, Victoria became lead singer of dance group Strike, her world became a rollercoaster of recording, promoting and performing.

In 1999, Victoria signed a solo recording deal with Fresh Records in London and began writing and recording her first album featuring song-oriented dance music with R&B influences. Her first single Martha's Harbour went to # 8 in the Dance Charts and, in 1999, featured in the Top 10 of world-renowned DJ, Paul Van Dyk.

Having completed a successful 3 month season at Terence Conran's Mezzo, she regularly appears at some of London's most sophisticated and stylish venues such as The Waldorf, Opium, Sound Republic and the St Martins Lane Hotel as well as many corporate functions and private parties.

In 2001 she was featured on MC Conrad's track Logical.

In 2002 she went singing for the band 3BS (3 Bean Salad) in West London.

The highlight of 2003 was the recording of Victoria's debut solo album The Song is You which features a selection of jazz standards, Brazilian beats and funky grooves played by some of the finest British musicians on the scene today, such as Gwilym Simcock (piano), Mike Bradley (drums), Andy Hamill (electric bass), Simon Colam (Fender Rhodes) and Steve Rose (acoustic bass).

Sing A Song (1999)
Rhythm (Funky Bomb) (2001)

Nicoromano was born in Reggio Emilia, a small town in the North of Italy. Since he was a child he has been very interested in music and he studied piano for about five years. In every children party he put the records on and chose the playlist of the day. When he was 13 he bought his first 2 Technics turntables and mixer at home. Being a teenager, at about 16, he already was an assistant DJ in one of the most important discotheques in Milano : but he was so good that in a few weeks he become the DJ resident !

For many years he worked as a DJ in many famous discotheques in Milano, then in Roma, where he mainly lived and worked. Like many other DJs, Nicoromano had an ambition : to "make" music, not only to "play" it. With the financial support of his family he began to build up his own studio : the "Nicoromano Studio", maybe currently one of the most well-equipped home studios in Italy.

His first instrument was the Ensoniq 16+ : with this only sampler he composed many songs. When the experience grew and the Studio with it, some of the songs he had written and composed when he was 16 became his first releases.

After about 7 years of professional activity, Nicoromano had written and composed over 30 songs. When the team of Masar (musical edition founded by Maurizio Fontana in 1989) started in 1996 the label "Jab" specialized in dance music, the emerging Nico's productions Doomsday, Lisa Jones, Isabel Joy, Break-Even Point and Nicoromano Project were created and licenced abroad in different territories.

In the song Is It You, for the project Break-Even Point, Nico used the powerful performance of Valentina Ducros, while in the single It's A Dream, under the name of Doomsday, he featured the italo-english singer Lisa Jones. He also take a part to Isabel Joy's single named The Love You Promised Me, published in Italy and in Singapore, with two remixes by Beautiful People. With the brand "Nicoromano Project", the roman DJ composed and published Out Of Time : an instrumental disc in progressive-style produced at Nicoromano Studio.

In 1997, under the brand "The House Of Sound", he realized at Nicoromano Study the dance version of the single Ahi Limon Limonero, a funny theme in Spanish-style from the TV-transmission "Macao" (Rai Uno). The song was written from Gianni Boncompagni (director of "Macao") with Morales, Cantabrana, Perello, and sung by two impeccable female vocalists, Stefania Del Prete and Anna Maria Di Marco, with the arrangers Stefano Magnanensi and Stefano Acqua.

In 1999, with the support of beautiful voice of Loredana Maiuri (Italian vocalist from tv-program "Sarabanda"), Nico realized the nice single Happiness, published by Jab/Masar also in Spain, Portugal, Usa and Polonia. Loredana Maiuri appeared under the "spanglish" name of "Majuri", title of the project.

In the spring of 2001, Nicoromano presented Sunflower in the single Rhythm (Funky Bomb). For this project he had already presented Sing A Song in 1999.

He collaborated with Claudio Mangione, the mind behind the "Zhi-vago" project, an half Italian and half German DJ and Producer, with whom he co-produced some songs.

In 2002, he remixed in club-version the super-hit I Feel So Fine for the KMC project, featuring Dhany.

Nico (so he is called from his parents and his friends) is a young man who likes cooking and good eating as well. He adores his cat, called Max. Of course he does love to hear music (every kind of good music) and to make it. He likes very much videogames (maybe his favourite hobby!). He likes watching football, tennis and golf. He practises kickboxing. He likes simple way of living : watching a good movie, eating a good pizza, spending a whole night playing Playstation 2 with his friends... His favourite DJs and Producers are: Fatboy Slim, Paul Van Dyk, DJ Sasha, Armand Van Helden, David Morales, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Chicane, Faithless, Chemical Brothers, Basement Jaxx

She attended a musical school at the age of 17 in Frankfurt-am-Main, and took classical singing (mezzo-soprano) lessons with a classical opera singer.

At the same moment, she met eurodance producer Nosie Katzmann and in 1993 she became the female voice of Captain Hollywood Project's world-wide hit single More And More. At that time, since the studio session were separate, she did not meet Captain Hollywood. Then Nina also supplied the vocals in Intermission's single Honesty.

In 1994, Nina went solo with the release of her first single The Reason Is You under the guidance of Mr. Katzmann. Her second single Until All Your Dreams Come True was also a very powerful eurodance track. Shortly after the second single, Nina's debut album Dare ! was released. Many famous eurodance names like Kim Sanders, Peter Gräber (of Culture Beat - Pay No Mind), Doug Laurent (remixes for Culture Beat - Take Me Away and La Bouche - I Love To Love), and DMP (Intermission) were involved with the album.

In early '96, her third single In Her Shoes took a different turn than the previous two. It was a pure ballad, containing no dance mixes. The fourth single Can't Stop This Feeling went back to dance, actually more like pop-disco. It stayed 3 weeks at the #1 place in Italy.

Nosie Katzmann was no longer involved with the project as his name was not credited from this release on. After about a year's absence, Nina returned with her fifth single release, Wanna Feel So Good, again with new producers: David Brandes, John O'Flynn, and Domenico Labarille from E-Rotic. But the single was not very succesful. However, she was tied with her records company because there were still 3 years of contract remaining.

Nina also worked as backing vocalist for the artist Simon Collins. She also appeared on Vega tracks and did a duet with F. Salzar under the name of Heroes.

1998 : Samantha Fox released a song covering the choruses of The Reason Is You.

2002 : Nina settled down in Darmstadt. She had been very busy these past years, caring about her little daughter Anouk. She gave her voice to a TV-commercial for L'Oreal, a radio-commercial for Nescafé, and a cinema-commercial for Afri Cola. She also told she would like to work in the domain of cartoon-film synchronisations, radio plays or documentaries texts recording (domain in which his boyfriend Yvo Fuchs already works). In June she had a great success in the USA, playing live in a well-known salsa-club in Los Angeles. She did a duet with Markus Nikolai

2003 : Nina was back ! She planned to release a new single that she co-wrote, called Tomorrow’s Yesterday, under a new project name. The style would be trance, and a new album was already planned. The new single was written and produced by Doug Laurent and remixed by Andy Sikorski. But finally Nina did not like any of the versions of the song... Song was finally remixed by Chris Hülsbeck and appeared on his 2009 album Number Nine.

2005 : in March, Nina, along with Franca Morgano and other artists, recorded a charity single entitled Hope as United Allstars. The benefits will go to a village in Sri Lanka, hit hard by the tsunami three months ago.

2008 : Nina is currently a member of the Zamsoo project (formerly known as Mondbrand), together with Joerg Dudys. They recorded ballads such as Sweet Devils. She recorded a CD entitled Muse featurng various covers of famous blues and jazz songs of Hildegard Knef, Marlene Dietrich und Marianne Faithfull, among others.

Nina created a voice training school called TonArt.

2016 : Nina Gerhard and Daniel Rohr created project1012.

2022 : Nina spoke the announcements for the final on Dein Song on TV channel KiKa

Nina Badrićwas born on 4 July 1972 in Zagreb. She started singing when she was only nine in children's choir Zvjezdice. With that choir she travelled countries, recorded several albums and gained a huge experience in choir, solo and gospel singing.

She started her carreer in her homeland Croatia. Her first single was recorded in 1993 and was entitled Ostavljam Te, produced by Rajko Dujmic and Jasenko Houra. After that, she released two singles produced by Denis Curman : Odlazis Zauvijek and Godine Nestvarne in 1994.

1995 was the year when her first album Godine Nestvarne came out. It also contained the new singles I Ponekad Kada, Da Li Ikada and Take Me Higher. In 1996, she recorded a eurodance single in duet with Croatian female artist Emilia, called Ja Sam Vlak.

After that, the same year, she released the Ja Za Ljubav Necu Moliti : this was her last real eurodance single, after she turned to pop and R'nB. Trebam Te was the name of her new single, from her second album Personality. From this second album came the single I'm So Excited, produced in Austria in 1998. It went #1 in Italy, #2 in Greece, #1 in Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Macedonia. That single contributed to have Nina known all over Europe. She did concerts in Italy, France, Spain, Greece, Austria, Germany, Suisse, Slovenia, Bosnia & Herzegovina.

Followed the singles Gimme Sunshine with Banditos Bonitos, One And Only with DJ Dado, On And On, Wanna Love Ya Baby and .Riding On A Meteorite with DJ Sonic

In 1999, her third album was released. Unique was a mix of eurodance and pop style. The next single came, once again very succesful : Woman In Love, a cover. The next album was released in Croatia, simply entitled Nina. It contained as well classic eurodance as R'nB. Hit singles in eurodance style were Ako Kazes Da Me Ne Volis and Ostavljam Ti Sve.

2003 : she released a new album entitled Ljubav.

2007 : Nina released a new album simply entitled 07

2011 : Nina was back with a new album called NeBo.

2012 : She represented Croatia at this year's Eurovision Song Contest with the song Nebo (a remix from a track of her current album). Afterwards, she did a successful tour in Croatia

2013 : she recorded a duet entitled Duše su se srele with Bosnian singer Mirza Šoljanin.

2015 : in January, she released another duet called Lozinka za raj with Serbian singer Željko Vasić.

2016 : she recorded a song Želim živjeti (I want to live) together with Shorty, Ivana Husar, Marija Husar, Palić Sisters, Alan Hržica and band Emanuel, a song supporting catholic anti-abortion propaganda.

Hubert Nitsch was born in Darmstadt on September 5th 1967. After classical piano lessons at the age of an elementary school student a temporary change took place : the key instruments were replaced by the bass. In the 5th grade he established a hard-rock band with some fellow students. At first well-known songs were re-enacted but soon some of his first composions followed.

1984 was the beginning of a short but intens jazz phase. Together with a friend he visited the international music summer camp Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Michigan, USA. where intensiv jazz courses were given. His interest in key instruments was re-established by the rising of affordable synthesizers. From this point on he worked as a keyboarder on stage and in studios. In 1987 he passed his finals in school.

In1988 his band won 1st prize in a rock contest for the Darmstaedter Sparkasse. After this, the band seperated. Hubert became a part of the bands Spice and L.A. News from Frankfurt. In 1990 he began to study computer science study and simultaneously and he became a studio musician and arranger for various bands and producers. In 1991 he decided to stop his live acts. Meanwhile, he worked more often with Nosie Katzmann. Finally, in1992 he signed an author contract with Get Into Magic. In 1995 Hubert moved his studio into the Get Into Magic hit-device studio complex and since then constantly builds on to it.

The list of projects he has participated in during the last years, be it as an engineer, studio musician, producer or composer includes : Culture Beat, Wenndann, Rafet Elroman, Nina, Mike Dielh, Ice MC, Affinity 3, O-Dance (On The Beat), Haddaway, Solid HarmoniE, Le Click, Judy Weiss, GIL und Bastiaan Ragas (Ex-Caught In The Act).

Lately his work consists of two increasingly successful components: on the one side the composition work together with Nosie Katzmann and Kim Sanders ; on the other side his work as an engineer and arranger in his own studio, which because of the quality of the results and the speed of the work is constantly becoming stronger in demand. The mixes do not need to avoid the comparison with internation top-productions.

When Angels Kiss (Nov 2002)
I Do 4 U (2003)
Ti Sento (2010)

Noemi (real name : Maria Stefania) comes from Germany, she was 22 in 2002. She's been singing since the age of 4, then took part to a children contest. Then she took dancing lesson (classical ballet) and piano lessons. One day, she happened to enter a music studio and asked to sing something. Her voice fitted perfect.

Her first single to be released was the cover of a song of the 80s, Don't Go Breaking My Heart, in 1999. It was chosen as theme for the RTM Millenium and the title song for Joan of Arc, but the single did not very well in the charts. Noemi also took part to various dance projects such as Planet Violet for the single Velvet Skies.

The single that started it all was In My Dreams. This excellent eurotrance track was produced by Airbase recording (owned by Mike Griesheimer & Thomas Detert from Activate and 666) released under Dos Or Die Germany. The next single to be released was Y.O.U.

Noemi's third single was entitled When Angels Kiss, it was released in November 2002. Then the fourth single I Do 4 U, a cover-version of the Bryan Adams hitsingle was recorded. Mike Griesheimer & Thomas Detert did remixes for other artists, including Sylver and Saphire Red, under the name Noemi.

Briefly before the release, JIVE/Zomba Records closed their dance division and kicked Noémi. Vocalist Stefania left the project at the beginning of 2003 to do some pop music like she did before her success with the dance project. Since then there have been a few remixes by DJ-Team. The completed debut album Red hasn't been released yet and it won't be in the future because the co-producers Manfred Hölter & Thorsten Kipka are not interested in authorizing the release.

2010 : Noémi released a cover song by Matia Bazar called Ti Sento.

Nordell (Anna)
EuroDance Member

Sweden

Anna Sara Christina Nordell aka Anorah was born February 19th. When she was 10, she got accepted at "Adolf Fredriks School of music", and for six years she studied music and choir singing, "which I found pretty boring" she explains.

"I had to find ways to sing the kind of music I wanted to sing after school". She was singing with a band, she did drama class and wrote songs on her own. Her family was very much into music then, and they were singing on different occasions pretty much all over Sweden in churches. "By having so much music in my life, it pretty much convinced me that this was what I wanted to spend the rest of my days doing and so far I’ve been able to. That’s something I’m very thankful for" Anna explains.

When she she was 14 years old, she got to play the part of Lisle in the musical "The sound of music" at Göta Lejon Theatre in Stockholm, at the sides of Carola and Tommy Körberg. Anna recalls "I learned so much by doing this, it was so much fun combined with a lot of hard work. (I remember that I was so nervous before entering the stage that I still have nightmares about it !)"

Anna's first written song (she wrote it as she was only 7) was actually released. At the ago of just 15, she was signed to a publishing company and stayed there for about five years. "I wrote songs together with a bunch of talented songwriters from Sweden and also got the opportunity to go to London and write with songwriters there as well. Some of my songs have as a result of this, been translated into other languages like Spanish".

The songwriters Anna worked with needed to present their material to record companies and artists, so they asked her to sing on their demos. "Gradually as a result of this it has ended up being my profession. Now I am singing demos for some of the most successful (if not even the nicest ?) songwriters in Sweden. Sometimes I am a backup singer for other artists too. I think that what I’m most proud of in the sense of backing vocals must be the four songs on the Celine Dion album One Heart. She also did backing vocals for Victoria Beckham, Tata Yough, Dannii Minogue, Fredrik Kempe, Mauro Scocco, GES, and of course E-type. "But what I like most is to sing my own songs for someone who is interested in knowing what I have to say" she reveals.

As she was only 16, she got the chance to go to the US to record the song I’ll Still Love You Then for the soundtrack of the Kevin Costner movie "Message in a bottle". The song was written by producer David Foster who also produced it. "That's something I will never forget. He really knew what he was doing!" she reminds.

Anna is also a voice actor. She is the Swedish voice for some of the animated characters in movies and TV-series.

2004 : Anna released the solo-single Där Finns Du Än The same year, she worked with Finnish band BomFunk MC's, being featured on their single Turn It Up. She did a featuring appearance on the song Drömmer Jag along with Danish band Johnny Deluxe and three Finnish bands, Mighty 44, Beats & Styles (on their song for Finnish eurovision song contest 2006 See The Signs). The song reached the top 5 on the MTV Up North chart.

2005 : Anna did vocals on Random's singles Fly Into The Sky and Miracles. She did backing vocals on Homeless Heart, a track of Amanda Stott's album Chasing The Sky.

2007 : she worked together with E-type again, co-writing songs to his new album Eurotopia. Then she did backing vocals on Da Buzz - Take All My Love.

2008 : Anna did backing vocals on Charlotte Perrelli's album Hero (the title-song competed to ESC 2008).

2009 : she did backing vocals on Marie Serneholt Disconnect Me, then on Malena Ernman's single La Voix, another ESC competitor.

Then she started working with producer Samuel Engh, whom she has written her new album Like He'd Do. "The album has a rock flavor and I am really proud of the sound and the songs :)", Anna explains.

Her hobbies are to spend time with her friends and family. Watching movies, playing World Of Warcraft, shopping, eating candy, travel and have a good time in general! Her family: Mom, Dad in heaven, 6 siblings and soon 10 nieces and nephews. Her favourite colours are pink and black. Her favourite food is Asian, "but everything except celery and liver works for me" she adds. On TV, she likes almost everything. Scrubs, Friends, CSI, Documentaries, Discovery, Jay Leno, MTV and a whole bunch of other shows.

Her favourite expression is "Det är helt sjukt bra! Snabel B. Wohoo!". Favourite words on the way : "Deal with difficult situations as if they were easy and deal with the easy parts in life as if they were difficult."

Musical team : P. Maton, Jean Fredenucci, R. Fredenucci. Norma was born on 21st of March 1970 in St Etienne (France). She is 1,73 m tall. According to what she said in an interview, Norma is her real first name (but it was later revealed that it was actually Sylvie). She chose Ray because it was the name of someone in his family. Her father is Frederic N'Doumbe, a professionnal soccer player, who came from Cameroun. He also used to play the guitar. Her mother was from afro-american origin, she worked as an esthaetician. When his parents worked, a Sicilian family took care of her, she considers she had a happy childhood. She travelled a lot : Italy, United States, Great Britain, Spain, Cameroun where she met her father's family. If she hadn't became an artist, she would have liked to be a pilot.

At the age of 18, she decided to stop her studies (she was stuying English, Italian and Spanish) in order to realize her dream, becoming a dancer. Her talent and her perseverance allowed her to work with the greatest choreographists (Redha, Jaime Rogers who did the choreographs of Fame). She danced in Prince's clip U Got The Look, she also danced for David Hasselhof and Johnny Hallyday. She took theatre lessons and appeared in many ads : Reebok, Coca Cola, Barbie and Hollywood chewing gum. She worked as a model with Italian designers, she was Whoopi Goldberg's voice in Sister Act, and a muse in Disney's Hercules. She enters the American School of Modern Music where she studies during 4 years, and finds inspiration for writing and composition in groove and R&B. She writes her song by night.

She likes reading, painting, going to the theatre and cinema, dancing, swimming, travelling, roller-skating, body-building, tennis and basket-ball. She describes herself as being instinctive and expressive, sometimes impatient and hard to change her mind. She hates violence, racism, intolerance and hypocrisy. She likes eating fish, japanese and african cooking, salads and fruits. She likes to mix different styles of clothes. She lives in an old building where she keeps her big collection of video-cassettes. She admires Pierre & Marie Curie, Ghandi, Martin Luther King and the French artist Charles Aznavour. Her favourite singers are Eros Ramazotti, Zucchero, Aretha Franklin, Tori Amos, Sheryl Crow, Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, Serge Gainsbourg, Michel Berger, France Gall, Daniel Balavoine, Etienne Daho, and the All Saints. Her preferred actors are cary Grant, Jean Reno, Jodie Foster, Julia Roberts, Barbra Streisand. Her favourite film is Our Best Years.

He first single was released in 1992 under label Ouragan, and was called If It's Love. Norma thanked Yannick Noah singing in the choir. Then came the single I Believe In You.

Her collaboration with Jean Fredenucci begins in 1994 and the first eurodance single to be released was Crazy About U. But later, unfortunatly she changed her style to R&B and French pop, and the single that brought us the biggest success is Tous Les Maux d'Amour (which she co-wrote and co-composed).

1999 : she contributed, with Felixine, to the French musical soundtrack of the Disney movie Hercule. She also took part to French version of songs from the soundtrack of Sister Act 1, Sister Act 2 and King Lion 2.

2000 : her first album Poussières D'étoiles (stardust) was released. It contained 14 tracks, some of them in English... and absolutely no eurodance unfortunately. Her hit Tous Les Maux D'Amour was covered by English pop group S Club 7.

2008 : Norma Ray produced and co-wrote a song with Nicolas Foyer. Entitled Candlelight, it was featured on the soundtrack of the movie The Women. She had already collaborated with him earlier on the project Angelux.

She collaborated to 2 dance-house projects, on with British DJ and producer Andy Ward and another one with German DJ and producer Edmond Dantes. She also took part to a musical cartoon entitled Kalandora. She also works as vocal coach and works on a future album...

2009 : Angelux new album was released in July.

German project Normal Generation? started in 1995. At first, it was a boys trio made of Simon Veigel (piano, guitar, harmonica, raps), Stefan "Steve" Waidelich (piano, vocals, songwriting) and his brother Marcus Waidelich (vocals, raps, dancer). All of them were born in born in 1980. Soon, they were joined by female vocalist Rebecca Gamer. Their first releases were eurodance, then they turned to a more Christian pop sound. Their lyrics were very religious-oriented and they describe themselves as an "evangelistic band" who try to be "faithful ambassadors of a Christianity that is alive, well and accessible". They were considered as Germany's most successful Christian band.

The trio did their first live performance during Teenietag in 1995, and according to the legend, they found their band name the same day. In 1996, they were joined by Rebecca and got signed unde records company Pila Music. First self-titled album was followed by a big tour in Germany as well as some festival gigs in Switzerland and the Netherlands.

In 1998, second album Normal Generation? II was released under Alliance Music. They launched her own festival, called More of God Camp, targeting Christian teenagers. Including live appearances, singing and dance workshops, forums, full of worship and religious messages, MoG indoctrination camps were successful enough to be continued the next years.

In 2000 they launched their third album Outsiders, which was more pop than eurodance, with even a few rock influences. Afterwards, they changed label again, signing a record deal with Dieter Falk's label Stereo Wonderland.

2001 : they were massively promoted in Germany by Evangelical Church with the action "God in the charts". Their new single Long For You could even be found in religious music stores.

In an interview, Simon explained the reasons of their musical change : "It wasn't a decision we made consciously, but rather came about naturally as we were in the process of producing an album that corresponded more to our own musical tastes and influences. The first two albums were much more dance-orientated, which was fine for a time and certainly established Normal Generation? in the European Christian music scene, but as the band has developed so have our musical priorities. The dance focus was more Steve's influence than anything else, but I'm much more of a Lenny Kravitz fan, so the new album was really liberating for me. Cross Rhythms described 'Outsiders' as a pick and mix CD, which is true to an extent, although our main goal with the album was to combine dance and rock influences and I think these can be found in most of the songs. As always when recording the album we were striving to produce something that would come over well live. You'll find songs that perhaps only really hit home when you see them done live."

2002 : they took part in the German national final of the 2002 Eurovision Song Contest with gospel-pop ballad Hold On and ended #3. They released their 4th album VIP.

2003 : their fifth album was entitled Freedom under again a new records company : J-Star

2004 : they did a creative pause. They contributed to organisation to More of God Days festival in Stuttgart.

2007 : they announced that a new album was planned.

2008 : new album More of God was presented. It was a collaboration with other musicians and produced by Derek von Krogh. It is no known wether it was released or not.

Nyman (Anders)
EuroDance Producer

Sweden

Swedish producer Anders Nyman (aka Snakebyte) was born and raised in Malmö, south of Sweden, but from November 2009 lives in Stockholm. Anders was always intrigued with music since he was a child. He used to listen to music, and fantazising about working with it in a big studio. As he grew up to a teenager, Anders started to make music for real. He never had a formal education in music, but the computer technology enabled him to make music on his home computer.

He contributed as songwriter and producer to many eurodance and bubble-gum projects : Caramell, Magic Motion, Smile.dk, Dr. Macdoo...

In 1990 Anders heard the track Infinity by the artist Guru Josh. This was one of the tracks that inspired him to start making music. Little did he know then that he would be working on the same track, nearly 20 years later to bring it back on the charts. Anders started working professionally as a producer in 1999. But it wasn't until 2008 that he got his real big break as a member of the Guru Josh Project, with over 1.5 million copies sold worldwide with the hit Infinity 2008. With the hit of Infinity, Anders saw the opportunity to become a DJ. He's now been seen playing clubs around the world, sometimes together with his Sidekick Simon Kaye.

I Want Your Body (1991)
Strange Love (1994)

Nymphomania was a project of Dutch producers Michael van der Kuy (aka Denzil Slemming) and Nick Nayme founded around hot model, TV host and vocalist Monique Sluyter. Born and raised in Sneek (Netherlands), she did her TV debuts in Italy, co-hosting TV-show Colpo Grosso (Italia7) in 1986 then in Germany in 1989 in Tutti Frutti (RTL) for 3 years. The same year, she released an Italo-disco solo single entitled Super Europe in 1989. A power rapper called Mistar was also part of the project.

First single I Want Your Body, released in 1991, was Tech House. It sold gold, entered US Billboard and was #31 in Japan, higher than Madonna... 3 years passed (during which Monique worked for Dutch television, hosting show Erotica, among others) before a second song, Strange Love, was released, on compilation Super Club Groovin' - House Revolution Vol. 24. This time, it was a nice eurodance track.

Michael van der Kuy and Nick Nayme also stood behind project 2 The Core. Monique Sluyter went on her TV-host and successful model carreer (she was featured 5 times in Playboy).

It´s Your Duty (2003)
Pretty Young Thing (2003)

(Lene Grawford, aka Grunda Pruppen, The Nugget, Lemon, The Babe) is Aqua's female vocalist. She was born on 10th of October 1973 in Tonsberg (Norway). She has one sister called Emilie. Her Dad works as a supervisor for Elf in the North Sea. Her Mum is full-time housewife. She spent her childhood close to nature. Her father made her practice a lots of sports. After college, she went to a guide school.

She is 1,70 m tall and weights 53 kg. She likes her dog, a Boxer called Sara. Her favorite actresses are Juliette Lewis and Marilyn Monroe. Her preferred groups are Kid Rock, Savage Garden and Bloodhound Gang. Her favoured movies are Stargate, Ford Fairlane and The Big Blue. She likes singing, training and travelling. As for her temper, she tells : 'I'm not very patient, impulsive and high tempered'. But she is also full of humour. She defines herself as a feminist. She is against plastic surgery... even if she admits that physical aspect is very important to succeed in her job. She likes futurist cars such as the Smart, but she drives a Wrangler Jeep, a motorcycle, an old BMW and a Jaguar. In a couple of years she would like to liveon a big farm with a lot of animals.

You certainly can't miss Lene. With her outrageousdress sense, huge platform boots, cropped tops and hipsters, and that flaming shock of bright red hair, she out-spices even Geri of the Spice Girls. When she's asked about it, she laughs. 'It isn't real. I've over 30 of them with the same design.' She reckons they bring her luck; since she started wearing them, the band's first international hit, Barbie Girl, has done phenomenally well, earning the band gold and platinum discs all over the world; even in the States. Funnily enough, although Lene's partly responsible for inflicting Barbie Girl on the world, she never even played with Barbie dolls when she was a kid. 'I was a bit of a tomboy and would rather kick a football around,' she says. Tomboy or not, after being a bartender and a goldsmith clerk, her first step towards global fame was becoming a model, although she quickly found out that it wasn't the best job in the world.

'All the bitchiness and competition in the modeling world caught up with me very quickly.' It didn't take her long to decide that there were better jobs to be had in front of the camera; next, she landed a job as a children's television presenter in Norway. It was while she was 'discovered' by René. He heard her sing and was apparently so bowled over by her voice that he asked her if  she would like to sing in the band he had formed with Claus and Soren.  The meeting led not only to Lene joining the band but also a three year relationship with René Dif , which ended some time ago. She's now dating a guy from Denmark although the sudden, astronomical success of Aqua means that life is now megabusy. It also makes it difficult for Lene to see her family, who live near Oslo in Norway, particularly as the band is based in Denmark. 'When I first joined Aqua I had to move to Denmark and was dreadfully homesick,' she told a magazine recently. Lene's live wire performances on stage are legendary - Soren says she metamorphoses when she's performing. 'She's kind and thinks a lot about other people,' he says, 'but she turns into the other Lene when she's on stage.'

2003 : Søren and Lene recently got married in Las Vegas. Lene released her first solo album, called Play With Me, following her first single It's Your Duty. Her follow-up single was entitled Pretty Young Thing.

2005 : Lene and Søren contributed with many other Danish artists to a benefic single to raise funds for the Tsunami victims : Hvor Små Vi Er, released in January.

2006 : Pretty Young Thing was covered by Tina Cousins. Lene decided to move to Hollywood to attend an acting school and start a career of actress. Her Danish was not fluent enough to try a career in Denmark. She gave an exclusive interview in the magazine Costume, about her future plans.

2011 : Lene was announced as one of the coaches on the Danish version of real-TV show The Voice, along with Steen Jørgensen, Sharin Foo and L.O.C.

2015 : she played the role of Velma Von Tussle in Danish version of musical Hairspray.
