La Bouche, featuring Melanie Thornton and D. Lane McCray Jr., fueled for the 90s with their own brand of pop, dance, and a twist of R&B. Melanie's voice was discovered by the FMP Studios team in Germany, and she was undoubtedly the perfect singer for their long dreamed of project, La Bouche. Lane, whom she had recently met and began performing with in a band called Groovin' Affairs, had the talent and striking looks to compliment Melanie's diva-powered vocals and sultry beauty, thus completing the concept of La Bouche. She recalls 'although we just began working together, the chemistry was perfect!'
The single that started it all was Sweet Dreams. At that time, Melanie was still hesitating between the 2 projects : la Bouche and Le Click. But the success was immediate : #3 in Israel, #1 in Italy and Spain, #8 in Germany, #8 in Australia, #8 in France, #5 in Switzerland, top 30 in the UK, # 13 in the USA Billboard Hot 100 (where it stayed not less than 33 weeks !).
The next single to be released was Be My Lover in 1995, becoming an instant hit once again : #8 in Israel, #6 in the USA Billboard Hot 100 (it sold gold there), #1 in Germany and Spain, top 10 in Holland, Austria and Belgium, #3 in Australia, #2 in Canada, #2 in Italy, #3 in France, #5 Switzeland, and #25 in the UK. After two gold singles in Germany, both of which had topped the European charts and gained massive radio play throughout Europe, Canada, and the United States, La Bouche unleashed their debut album Sweet Dreams, which brought them to the forefront of America's pop market to become the new sensation of the 90s. The album sold twice Platinum in the US. Two video clip versions of both Be My Lover and Sweet Dreams were shot. The newer versions were made in and for the US.
Then came a remixed version of Fallin In Love. In the US there was new radio mix (made by by AME, Florida) which went #16 on the America Top 40 radio charts. This new version, 3:49 long, was preferred to the Original slow version. But it was a radio station DJ only CD : people could not buy it in a store or anywhere.
The gorgeous I Love To Love followed. It went #6 in Australia. A Megamix was finally released in 1996 as a conclusion to this first album.
Afterwards there was quite a long pause. Melanie explains : "Frank Farian held pretty much total control of the project and he had, since the beginning of La Bouche, picked up a whole lot of other projects. We'd been put on the backburner until he'd finished producing No Mercy (and others). He did record a single called Bolingo that was supposed to be the introduction of our second album, but it didn't work that way. It was like six months after the end of our first album and like a year before the actual release of the second album. It wasn't supposed to be that way, but it's just the way it happened. Basically it was just waiting on Frank Farian. First to be ready to start producing and then, second, to be satisfied with the work. There were also power struggles going on there. I would have to say a lot of it was disagreements between Frank and the labels".
After some silence La Bouche released a single called You Won´t Forget Me in October 1997 and on the 17th November the new album A Moment of Love was released. The new album contains of 9 new songs, 3 remixes and, of course, Bolingo and You Won't Forget Me. One of the 9 new songs isn't completely new... Mama Look (I Love Him) which was on the European release of Sweet Dreams can also be found on the new album ! Most tracks on the new album are uptempo dance tracks !
Later in 1998 La Bouche has released a single called A Moment of Love. But La Bouche's second album didn't have the success expected. We had to wait more than one year to hear the following single : SOS.
2000 : La Bouche has finally released some new material ! This new single is entitled All I Want. Melanie, who started her solo carreer, was replaced by Natascha Wright. She had been a background singer for MC Hammer, DJ Bobo and some others, and also released some solo eurodance singles. But Lane McCray remained a part of the group and was still going strong with his rap.
A brandnew album was scheduled for September 2000 but still nothing has been released. Nothing either about the follow up to All I Want. The album would be produced as usual by Frank Farian and his team (FMP), and Lane McCray would be producing 3 tracks too. Lane was also planning a new solo record in the next 18 months.
The La Bouche project is also a remixers team since we can find many "La Bouche mix" for many eurodance singles : for example, Full Speed's Star or Le Voyage's I Need A Love.
November 2001 : Melanie Thornton died in a plane crash.
2002 : On April 4th BMG Germany will release an album of La Bouche feat. Melanie Thornton. This album will include the hits of La Bouche, the solo hits of the late Melanie Thornton, a videoclip of Sweet Dreams and two previously unreleased tracks of La Bouche.
Because of the tragic death of Melanie, we could think that La Bouche definitely belonged to the past, and Lane McCray is working on his debut solo album Naked Songs In The Key Of Love, which will be released late summer. Lane also felt in the wake of Melanie's death there would be no more La Bouche. The magic died with her and cannot be recreated.
But on November 25th the team finally decided to release a single. The release date was chosen because it was the first anniversary of Melanie's death. Entitled In Your Life, this very nice eurodance song was an unreleased song composed by Melanie Thornton herself. It also included a B-side called Take Me 2 Heaven 2 Night. There was a video (a sort of summary of the glorious years) and a best of album released along with the single.
2003 : La Bouche did a tour in support of In Your Life, beginning on the 6th April of 2003. Lane McCray brought his smooth dance, vocal and charisma to the stage. A new face joined Lane on stage : Kayo Shekoni, formerly the voice of Le Click. Together Lane and Kayo continued the sounds, songs and style that would always remain La Bouche. In Your Life reached #9 in the USA Billboard dance chart.
The same year, Sweet Dreams was covered by a project called M-Express. Kayo was replaced by Natascha Wright.
2006 : a best-of album was released in October. According to an interview that Natascha gave, Lane had moved back to Washington D.C., while Natascha went back to a solo carreer. It seemed to be the end of La Bouche...
2007 : Lane actually never left La Bouche, and the project has a new frontwoman called Dana Rayne. The groups keeps on touring in Europe. They did a concert at the beginning of September at a big 90's-party at Docken in Copenhagen.
2008 : a 2008 version of Sweet Dreams was released by Recover Project, with a videoclip. The same year, Anthem released a cover of Be My Lover.
2009 : Greenpower released a cover of Sweet Dreams. 2 amazing unreleased La Bouche tracks entitled In My Position and Rhythm Of Love were revealed to the public.
2011 : Мята (Myata) released a cover of hit Be My Lover.

Say Goodbye (11th Jun 1999)

Production : Dr Records (directed by Dr Alban). The name is originally the name of the producer group that has made songs and remixes for many bands. La is a feminine article in French language and because Tess is singing in French and English it suits the songs.
Songstress/dancer Tess Mattisson and DJ/producer Andréz met at Dr Records studio while they both were working with different projects. Meanwhile they got to know each other, and with Tess stage habit combined with Andréz producer and DJ experience it turned out to be a 'hit'. They decided to bring out multicultural modern music so the lyrics contains a mixture of French, Spanish and English. In May´98 they worked in the studio and the result came out as their debut single Château d´Amour. No videoclip was shot.
The duo hit the charts again with their second single You. Their strong position on the Swedish Dance Chart showed a good grip on the DJs. The big step on the Music Control Radio Chart created just the position that the duo wanted. Both singles could be found on La Cream's debut album Sound And Vision which was released in all of Scandinavia. Follow-up wingle was entitled Say Goodbye.
The cover of Dr. Alban's hit This Time I'm Free called Free adds to their singles : "It's a very special track for me personally. When it was released in 1994 I was working as a dancer. I've danced a lot that song. No artists have had the opportunity to make cover of Dr. Alban's tracks. I really appreciated it when he said that I can do a cover of his old songs if I want to. He likes this project and me as an artist and believes in us so we had the chance to make it" says Tess. Videoclip was shot in Mallorca, Spain

La Luna is a Belgian beauty born 26th July 1980 in Herentals. Her real name is Sofie Lambaerts, but she prefers to be named Luna which is Italian word for moon. Sofie studied classical ballet and singing.
In 1998, by reading an advert in the local newspaper, she came in contact with one of the most successful Belgian producer/songwriter Regi Penxten (Milk Inc., Sylver). Regi was looking for a female singer to start a new dance project. Sofie Lambaerts succeeded the vocal testings and became the voice and face of the newly founded K-Voice featuring La Luna. The first single Save Me From The Night which was released in January 1999 didn't break any major records in Belgium but nevertheless became a respected club hit.
Regi and co-producer Steve Spaceman made the decision to put Sofie simply in front for the follow-up-single. Venus which was released in June 1999 was again a clubsuccess and made little cross-over to commercial radio. The single charted top 40 in the Flemish part of Belgium.
Things were going well, therefore a new single was released. In January 2000 the new single When The Morning Comes became a mega success. In no time the track hit the top regions of the charts in Belgium. La Luna was nominated with When The Morning Comes for single of the year by major station Radio Donna. La Luna became very popular amongst youngsters and appeared on the covers of several teenmags
Also Spain fell for the moon of Belgium. La Luna goes by an average of 2 times a month to the sunny country to do gigs. The fourth single Take Me, which was released in August 2000, entered in the top 10.
The long expected 5th single Kisses Of Fire was released April 2001 in Belgium. Like the other 4 singles, this one is again produced by Regi Penxten and Steve Spaceman.
On February 11th 2002 the next single was released. The song is called Here I Am. The same year, the single Fallin' was released.
2003 : La Luna's brand new single was entitled Sometime Somewhere Someone. The follow-up Still Alive was apparently the last single to be released under La Luna.
2005 : Sofie was nominated Miss Belgian Beauty 2006

American jazz and gospel singer Lavelle McKinnie Duggan was born in Kankakee, near Chicago, in a musicians family. Her father was played the guitar in Nat King Cole's band, and her mother was a dancer and singer in the Cotton Club. Lavelle already sung gospel in choirs at the tender age of 3. As she was only 5, she started studying the piano. She entered Chicago's national Conservatory at the age of 11, being the youngest student. She did brilliant musical studies, earning many awards. She sung Haendel's Messiah as she was only 14. She continued her studies at the prestigious Julliard School of Music de New York.
After a carreer of lyric singer, she progressively went back to jazz and gospel. She apeared in the musical Hello Dolly in Broadway. She then toured across America, singing ryhthm and blues with the greatest names in soul music such as Ray Charles or Sammy Davis Jr. She also contributed to great jazz bands of Lionel Hampton, Buddy Rich, Maynard Ferguson and Quincy Jones.
In 1977, she moved to France, releasing her first album Winter’s Mind. She then released a disco single entitled Playgirl in 1979, followed by a second LP entitled Brand New Start.
In 1989, she did background vocals for Ray Charles & Dee Dee Bridgewater. The following year, she recorded and produced the album Straight Singin’ - Tribute to Nat King Cole. Apart form her own concert and tours, she ran singing masterclasses, sharing her passion and contributing to the creation of many gospel choirs in France. In 1992, she was awarded the decoration of Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres.
During the 90s, she was the female vocalist of the B-one project. She probably also did all vocals for Miranda. She also sung for some TV ads.
She then left France to settle in Saint-Cergue (Switzerland). She leads a gospel choir in Geneva, but also keeps on running masterclasses and touring in France.

L.A. Work, alias Alexander Louvet (artist, producer & remixer), has been on the music scene since 1990 and to all insiders is far from an unknown figure... As the only professional dance artist from the German-speaking side of Belgium, he got with the maxi-singles In Memory Of ..., Get Ready Make Love, Is It Real..., Crazy Boy, I Like Sex, Diamond In My Heart and Imagination the international recognition he deserved.
It all started with the release of the maxi-single In Memory Of ...
in 1991, and with the mini-album Get Ready-Make Love, in 1993. During
the Midem 1994, L.A. Work was chosen by Sabam as one of the "Top 20 Belgian
bands for the future". In 1994, Alexander founded his own label "The
A.L.C. Productions", a production (2 studios), publishing and promotion
company ; promoting most of his productions himself.
Midem 1995 was where L.A. Work signed a worldwide contract thanks to Is It Real .... This track was a co-production between No More/EMI Music Publishing and was produced by Serge Ramaekers & Dominique Sas, famously notorious for Confettis Sound of C and Living On My Own by Freddy Mercury.
L.A. Work on the stage consisted of Alexander Louvet himslef with his partners Tamara and Shirly. Since the start they had a long line of live gigs, touring with N'Sync, Whigfield , Snap , 2 Unlimited , Marlboro Music
The follow maxi Crazy Boy was recorded by Koen Tillie (Claudia Chin) together with Ramaekers/Sas. This adaptation couldn't have been more suitable because this is the whole lifestyle of L.A. Work ... "Be crazy, have fun !". Koen Tillie, also worked on the following maxi-single from L.A. Work entitled I Like Sex. This dance track was shown in premiere at the Calypso Club in June 1996.
1997 : L.A. Work released the maxi Diamond In My Heart. In August, at the CD presentation in Euskirchen (Germany) in front of more than 10 000 people, the band confirmed to be one of the best dance acts Belgium has to offer.
1998 : L.A. Work created, around the new track Monotone a new project called Monotone featuring L.A. Work, signed with Byte Records...
2000 : L.A. Work released the maxi Imagination and signed worldwide - compilation deals.
2000 - 2001 : L.A. Work remixed several new projects as Neon Sky, The King, Springtime Melodys and for sure Monotone.

Female vocalist of Mr President
Danii ( Daniela Haak) was born in Bremen. Both her parents were Hard Rock artists. Father played in a group called Living Games and never had anything against her to get seriously involved with the music. The only thing he was not very happy about, was the fact that Lady Danii was doing Techno and Dance instead of Rock. Meanwhile he accepted the style she was doing. Father started teaching Lady Danii how to play the guitar when she was 8 years old. They actually now are using the same home studio to record together.
Danii created her first group with a friend called Petra. They created their songs and choreografics, and during the weekends they did some appearances in several shows and contests. Then she started participating in many dance competitions, performing mostly Hip Hop. In one of these competitions, she met Jens Neumann. Somehow she was able to "conquer" his phone number. She tried to convince him to take her to the group. The "lucky" day happened quite soon. One day a singer from Satellite One got sick and need for replacement emerged. That how she got in. She appeared on the singles Enterprise Techno and Young Indy, both singles being released in 1992.
Then she joined Lazy Dee and T Seven to became a member of Mr President. Strangely, her voice can be heard on some tracks of the Mr President albums, but almost never the ones which were released as singles.
In March 1997 she released a solo single as Reset feat Danii, a project produced by Robin Masters and Kai Matthiesen. The song, a very nice and happy euro track, was entitled You Got The Key. Sadly, it did not have the success expected. However, a second single called Egyptian Lover was released.
Danii is not only an artist but also can design clothes. She finished designing school with success, and possesses the diploma. "Already as a child I had much fun to make cloth out of old pieces of everything. I loved to make up sections and organized fashion shows." she explains. When Mr President project was temporarily stopped, she went back to old passion, the fashion design : "I had time left to let my fantasie run free and to bring models to paper". She created in 2000 her own fashion company, Haak Design.
Danii recently adopted a small dog called Bandit : "The best decision of my life. Until today we both are inseparable."
In 2003 Mr President were officially back : T-Seven had left the group but Danii and Lazy were still there.
Danii is now married to former world super middleweight champion, German boxer Markus Beyer. Together, they founded sport training company 12Rounds in October 2004.

God First (release uncertain) (May 2005)
Macarena (1993)

Get It On (1995)

E.I.E.I.O. (1996)

Sweet Party (15th Mar 1996)

Born Shelly-Ann, she grew up in Red Hills, St. Andrew (Jamaica) and arrived in Quebec (Canada) in 1992. The following year she began to work with the Unknown Squad, a street hip-hop group which earned their street credits by battling local MCs and performing in talent concerts.
One day while in class at Vanier College Shelly was approached by JD, one of her rival MCs. He was working with Premier Muzik and wanted a female to lay a verse on a track they were producing. Shelly seized the opportunity and finally, instead of just a verse, recorded an entire song : Sweet Party which went #16 in the Canadian dance charts and forced a three year recording deal.
Then came the hit singles Macarena, That's Me, EIEIO and Get It On. She did nationwide tours with top recording dance artists such as Netzwerk, The Outhere Brothers, Reel 2 Reel, Emjay and many others. She was on every dance compilation released at this time in Canada. When home from touring, Shelly could be found at Bull's-Eye studio working with her friend and mentor Bevin Jackson. The two spent hours recording dancehall tracks and learning as much as they can about the music business and general production.
Once her contract expired with Premier Muzik, Lady Shelly felt she needed a break from the music scene and decided to take one by going back home. While in Jamaica, she was encouraged by friends and family members to return to Canada and continue to pursue her dreams. She did return to Canada to learn the music business.
But her need to write, record and perform music was too strong. At around the same time, Gino Olivieri (producer and co-founder of Premier Muzik) was closing a deal with Isba records : a full-length album by Lady Shelly under Isba's label. Without hesitation, Shelly got to work and within no time 15 tracks were recorded and the album was ready for the road. Endurance contained 13 new tracks plus 2001 versions of her hits E.I.E.I.O. and Sweet Party.
By July 2001 the first single from the album, You Know, was certified gold in Canada. Unfortunately, Shelly did not have a good relationship with the record label and wanted out of the deal. With the help of Gino Olivieri her wish was granted.
Then Shelly concentrated on guiding and managing unsigned upcoming artists. But once again her desire to do music surfaced. This time she had decided to do things 100% her way. She teamed up with a Jamaican producer : Garnett "Bobby Culture" Pottinger. The new album God First was completed in only 3 months. The unofficial release date was May 20th, 2005.

Beautiful World (25th Apr 2000)

Lovin You Baby (6th Nov 2000)

Calling Your Name (Jan 2001)

No Way No Time (14th Oct 2001)

In Your Mind (8th Jul 2002)

Francesca Messina aka Lady Violet is a real countess. She originates from a Florentine ancient noble race of 600. Her life has always been conditioned by the usual rules and ceremonials of the noble life, but which she has never accepted, because her real nature makes her love freedom, sincerity, passions and transgressions. She has never accepted any sort of restriction, and her impulsive temper has always created several problems between her and her noble familiars and especially with a very traditionalist and conservator uncle.
"I fell in love with dance music when I was really young" Lady Violet tells, "and I always secretly listened to it closed in the bathroom, dancing and doing my make up at the mirror; I wanted to be a singer since then, but I knew that my parents and my uncle in particular would have never approved and supported my choice."
"One night, at my friends birthday party I sang a song for him and another boy, who was at the party too, consequently noticed me and asked me if I wanted to sing a song he had been planning for a long time: a remake of a Limahls song of the 80s. His way of asking me was between serious and funny, but I immediately accepted with no hesitation anyway. I sang Inside To Outside (cover of a song originally sung by Limahl) and my discographer story began." The idea to give her a little halo of mystery was really born from Ladys need not to reveal the new life to her familiars (her uncle would exclude her from the family heredity). The name Violet comes from her passion for this flower As for Lady, her noble origins oblige to a natural elegance in the name as well
"With Inside To Outside I realised my biggest dream : being a singer and performing on stage dancing and enjoying with the people ! Dance music is the only musical genre which really allows you to easily get in touch and communicate with the audience" Lady Violet says, adding that however her blue blood, she feels as any other normal girl, just wishing to enjoying and living her own life. Unfortunately her traditionalist and conservator uncle recognised her watching a TV show : he was really surprised and angry to see her with a violet wig, so much that he didn't want to speak with her anymore ! But it was too late to stop her, and anyway she did not wish to do. All the success gained with her debut single just gave her more satisfactions and the confirmation that she had to keep on with her own way. After being accredited as one of the best dance acts in her native country, climbing all the charts both of sales and radio, the single, a gold record in Denmark and Sweden, also scored chart positions in France, Belgium and Spain, and is due for UK release by end of September with a special remix. Entering all the international charts, she also appeared on all main music TV shows and dance events across Europe flying from Spain to France, from Belgium to Denmark, Norway and Sweden for all the Summer long!
Taken off her purple wig her success has been confirmed and established with the release of her second single Beautiful World, out Italy in April 2000, and with the participation to one of the most important Italian music TV show : Festvalbar 2000. The European release was scheduled between end of August and September: in Belgium it immediately entered the play lists of the main networks, and in France, it was the highest new entry in the club and sales charts ! In the meantime, it was said that Francesca worked in the studio for recording her first album, planned for release in this Autumn. The album, which would contain songs remixed by Bini & Martini, Triple X, Frank'O Moiraghi, and Clutch, was never released...
Later, it was revealed that vocals on Inside To Outside belonged to Melody Castellari. Inside To Outside had probably been recorded before the project was built around Francesca, because she proved she was also able to sing, since she did vocals on the next singles...
2004 : Lady Violet was featured on Soriani Bros' single Dancing For Love.
2007 : in November, Inside To Outside was covered by DJ Marco Polo.
2008 : Francesca Messina is nowadays member of a rock band called La Materia Strana that she founded.

The female vocalist on The Best was probably Annerly Gordon (what is sure is that is credited for the songwriting, all the more that 'Lalene' seems to be some sort of anagram of 'Ann Lee'). The single was recorded at Labelle studio, produced by Larry Pignagnoli, arranged and programmed by Davide Riva, engineered and mixed by Davide Riva and Larry Pignagnoli, mastered by A. Baglio. DJ Benny contributed as musical advisor. Lyrics were written by A. Gordon, R. Riva and A. Pignagnoli.

Storm In The Night (4th Apr 1995)

Vince Lancini began his musical training by singing and playing with several rock and fusion groups. In 1983, he became a member of an Italo group named Scotch (known for singles such as Disco Band and Penguin's Invasion), as a vocalist, then as an author. With this group, his career went on with success, and in few years they released 2 LPs and 8 singles which become early big hits in Europe (awarded gold in Germany, France, Sweden and Austria).
After a short pause, Vince kept in touch with another former Scotch member, Franz Felletti. They formed a duet called Bosa Trida, produced by Bruno Rosellini (Finzy Kontini).
Then he went solo. The single Storm In The Night was written by himself and Rosellini. As well as the other singles Get Up and It's Only Your Love, it was released under the label One-Way records (with many other hi-nrg SAIFAM releases).

He meets 2 producers in the discotheque where he worked as a DJ (the King's Club of Kaldenkirschen) and in 1995 they release their first single.

Canadian producer and composer. His parents realized their son had a quick musical ear and potential talent starting with the drums.
His English-speaking collegues soon renamed him Jefferson... He scored big hits with singers such as Emjay, Solina, Maria Lisa, Jaade, DFS and Katee. He founded Jefferson Project, originally to produce songs for other featured artists, who were finally produced under their own names. He also worked with French-speaking artist Claudia Laurie
2005 : he contributed to Marc Provence single Allez, Allez.
After having toured in several of the largest theatres in Quebec, Ontario and New England states, he focused on electronic keyboards and worked on the type of music that reflects his musical maturity, sound and personal life. He has embraced the sounds of electro-pop music, a sound that he says symbolizes our ever-evolving technological future.

Pray (2002)
The Lasgo project was created by the producers and keyboardists Peter Luts and David Vervoort. The name Lasgo comes from the city of Glasgow, which is very dear to the producers... It featured the female vocalist Evi "Evy" Goffin, born on 27th February 1981 in Antwerp. She was no newcomer in the musical business : under the name of Medusa, she released a single entitled Miss You with Fiocco. She also took part to the track New Year's Day, a trance cover of U2, with 2 Fabiola. As for, Peter Luts, he has been already producing for A&S Productions for more than 5 years and did remixes for Milk Inc. David Vervoort (aka Dave McCullen) is a singer-producer-performer who had been previously DJ-ing for over 7 years in Belgian clubs and sometimes in other countries.
Lasgo hit the eurotrance scene with their first single and instant hit Something, released in July 2001. It entered the Belgian CD Singles Top10 and remained during more than 7 seven weeks, with a highest place at # 5.
Their very first live appearance took place on the Holiday Party, one of the biggest school's out party's in Belgium. TMF (the Belgian video-clip channel) recorded the show to produce a video clip. In Spain, where the track was released simultaneously, the results were great : the single was the best selling vinyl at the distributor the week of its release ! Afterwards the song was signed with Elektrola (Germany) and Positiva (UK). A videoclip was shot in Prague. 2 forthcoming singles followed : Alone (released for October 29th) and Pray.
On the 27th of October, Lasgo won the Belgian TMF Award of the best national single for Something (which sold gold). On November 19th their debut album was released : entitled Some Things, it contains 11 songs plus 2 remixes of the first singles.
2002 : Lasgo recorded 3 new tracks entitled Searching, You and I Wonder. The tracks will be on a repacked album which will also feature a lot of remixes of their hits. The release is planned for the end of this year. Lasgo's new single was at first planned to be I Wonder (its release was even set for the 2nd of September) but I could be rather Pray. The videoclip has been recorded in the US (in Long Island) and the vinyl will be released worldwide on the 14th of October. It'll feature remixes by Peter Luts, Dave McCullen, Driftwood and Kidjemet & Kovac.
Finally Pray was released in Germany on the 22nd of October, and the US on the 18th of November. It did pretty well there : in their 10th week they climbed to #46 in the US Billboard Top 100.
2003 : Lasgo released a new single called Surrender.
2004 : in February, Surrender went up to # 9 in Belgium and #5 in the German DJ Playlist, it also peaked up to #14 in the Danish Dancechart and in Finland too. Surrender was released in the UK under Positiva on the 19th of April.
At the Midem 2004 music conference in Cannes (France), Lasgo was one of the winners of the European Border Breakers award. This award, given out by the European Commision, aimed to enhance the exchange/export of popmusic across country borders.
In October 2004, Lasgo was again awarded for their hitsingle Something. At the BMI Awards ceremony held in the Ballroom of London's Dorchester Hotel they were the first Belgian act ever to receive the USA Pop 2003 and USA Dance 2003 award. The awards recognized the great popularity in the US as measured by broadcast performances and playlists. Other BMI Award winners were Sting, Seal, Van Morisson, T.A.T.U., Queen, Elton John.
The second single from the new album is called All Night long. It was released on vinyl December 20th 2004 and on CD single in January 2005. The new album is called Far Away and will most probably be released at the end of January. The vocalist/songwriter Annemie Coenen from Ian Van Dahl wrote together with Peter & David all the lyrics.
In December, Surrender went #1 in the USA Billboard Dance radio chart.
2005 : Evi Goffin is pregnant. They performed live in Copenhagen at the end of February. The Lasgo team created Lasgoline, a collection of six chairs designed by f**k design, founded by the rising star of Belgian furniture design, Marc De Gols. Every piece of furniture was named after a Lasgo song.
Lasgo's new single will be entitled Who's That Girl, featuring Dave Beyer. It should be released in June. On May 18th, the videoclip was shot in Gent. Without Evy because she's in her last month of pregnancy.
Lasgo's next single was released in November. Entitled Lying, it was beautifully remixed.
2006 : in January, Turbulence UK finished all UK remixes for Lasgo's single All Night Long. Release was planned for March 2006. A tour in the UK is planned during the months of February and March.
Ian Van Dahl and Lasgo will be coming to Brasil from 4th till 9th April 2006. The show was announced as an exclusive battle between Evi & Annemie (Ian Van Dahl). Another part of this tour should took place in the US in May and June.
Lasgo's new single in the US was Hold Me Now, scheduled to release Tuesday, June 27th, 2006.
2007 : Peter Luts started his solo project, an album is planned for this year. He released a single with Barbara Tucker called One. As for David Vervoort (aka Dave McCullen), he had a lot of success with his debut single Bitch. Evi announced that she was leaving the project. All these elements could lead fans to believe that Lasgo was over, but the management said that the project wold continue.
2008 : in May, Alex Megane released their first official cover of Lasgo's hit Something. Lasgo's search for their new vocalist was the theme of a real-TV show called Let's Go Lasgo, broadcasted on Jim TV during summer. The new vocalist was called Jelle van Daele, and the new single was Out Of My Mind.
2009 : Lasgo's new single is entitled Gone. The video was shot in Los Angeles. It went #5 in the Belgian Ultratop, the official singles chart. It was also chosen as their dance smash by Radio 538, the biggest Dutch radiostation
The follow-up single was entitled Lost and it was released in August. The video was shot in Blackpool (UK). It started immediately to climb the national charts. The new album is entitled Smile, released on September. In October, Lasgo was nominated as best dance national to the TMF Awards 2009, but did not win. They opened the ceremony, with Jelle dressed in a catwoman outfit. The follow-up single was entitled Over You.
2010 : in March and April, Jelle took part to the show Sterren op de Dansvloer on VTM. Lasgo's new single was entitled Tonight. They shot their videoclip in LA.
2011 : Besides her role as Lasgo singer and frontlady, Jelle Van Dael is also working as a VJ on Jim TV. Lasgo took part to charity project Dance 4 Life, collecting money to educate young people in order to push back the spread of AIDS and HIV. Lasgo's new single Here With Me was released in June. Videoclip was shot once again in LA.
2012 : Lasgo's new single Sky High videoclip featured dancer and model Meysam Noori. In September, Jelle presented Lasgo's new single Can't Stop during an interview on Q Music.
2013 : they released a new version of Lasgo's hit Something. In June, they released follow-up single Feeling Alive.

For Your Love (Aug 1994)

Someday (1995)

The project is made of a solo female vocalist whose real name is Andrea Eigner, coming for Queens, New York.
For Your Love was released in August 1994. It was produced by Gino Crescenza and Maurizio Nalli. The single included a B-side called Shout It Out. A remixes CD was released afterwards. Label : Ricmar Records. The single sold gold in Canada, reaching #1 on the Canadian dance chart, and also charting in Italy, France, Israel and Holland.
The follow-up single Someday was released under Hi-Bias records, then came a remixes vinyl. It was co-written by Laurell and her producers.
In 1996, For Your Love was licensed under the German label Da' City Grooves.
Laurell's 1999 EP release on Laurell’s own Clover Records label was more of a pop album, with a mystical lyrical bent. Larry Flick summed it up well, calling her an "ethereal poet" with a "formidable talent for the kind of contagious hooks that top-40 programmers crave".
In the last few years, Laurell has been writing and recording under the name Laurell John.

Your Love (2008)

I Want To...(The Club) (May 2011)

Summertime (18th May 2012)

Tonight (14th Feb 2013)

Real name : Delroy Rennalls. Sometimes credited as Lazy D or just Lazy or LayZee. Rapper and singer of Mr President
He was originally born in Birmingham (England) but his parents are from Jamaica. He came to Germany in the late 80s with his brother. There they met the now hit producer and remixer Mousse.T and founded there very first group Fresh and Fly. After that he started working in the clubs and discos of Hannover and the north German area as a deejay. Due to a lot of hard work and perseverance he managed to take the North German Deejay Championships held in Bremen.
He did rapping for various studios, clubs and projects. He then received a call from the Mr. President management asking him for his help on their second project. They where signed to Warner Music and the rest is history.
Nowadays, he works as a songwriter, remixer and a producer, owning a studio. He loved the Mr President band but he also loves being creative without any guidelines, so moving to a more background position was a very good move. He now produces his own club dance tracks under his new Deejay name, Diezel Washington (which the first name was given to him by Mousse.T). "I admire Denzel Washington and people say I look bit like him, I can't see it myself. So there you have it.", Dellroy explains.
Java - My Oasis and Mr. President - All In The Game were some of the first songs he wrote. Dellroy lives in Hannover, Germany. At the end of the 90s he used to have a big American car on which the number plate displayed the letters 'MRP'. Delroy does not think he is lazy, but he admits to be often late. The Lazy Dee nickname was 'given' to them by his friends.
2007 : Layzee (don 't call him Lazy Dee anymore !), or more accurately his new project Diezel Washington, appeared live at the Peppermint Party backstage in Berlin with special interviews with all the top acts. Diezel also teamed up with Porn Funk Deluxe, producing their debut track Who's Gonna Rock My Pussy. He also produced Catch Me, a dance track co-written by Jan Van Der Toorn and Lavon Lee.
2008 : he first single Your Love is now ready as digital release. It's a very nice dance song with obvious eurodance inspirations. The featured vocalist is called Dani.
In October, LayZee will be releasing Your Love as digital release in Russia, and in CD format in Germany and the rest of the world. Therefore, his other song Catch Me will be postponed until November of this year. T-Seven was at first planned to be featured on Catch Me, but she won't, because of her current records company. LayZee is also also working on another project called Keylago
2009 : LayZee performed live at Eurodance Club at the end of August. He teamed up with SEX Appeal for a single entitled Gimme (Safer sex). It was out during the second week of October
2010 : he contributed to 3-dee's single This Ain't No (Rock 'n' Roll).
2011 : Layzee teamed up with Raquela and Keith Kemper on the charity project Japan Aid. ISV Entertainment donated 100% of the proceeds to the American Red Cross Earthquake & Tsunami Relief Fund.
He also recorded a summer song entitled Summertime with Kendrick, to be released in July on all major digital platforms. At the end of the year, Layzee was featured on Fabiola Roudha's single Atrapada.2012 : LayZee is busy working on his album in Germany. He was featured by a Ukrainian girls band called Mirami in the single Summer Dreaming, which should be out in May, along with a video shot in Spain and directed by Vladimir Shurubura. In April, he released a 2012 version of Summertime with 7 new mixes and a new video. He also founded the project Adjazzo with Dirk Diersing and released BankBuster EP in May, a mix of Funk, Soul, R'n'B, House and Jazz.
In August, LayZee was featured by Alida on her new single My life. He also plans to re-record and re-release Your Love for the Russian market.

Let's Click (2007)

Tonight Is The Night (1994)
Call Me (1997)

Call Me (new mixes) (1997)

Blow Up Records had two dance music projects, both vocalised by Melanie Thornton : La Bouche with the raps of Lane McCray Jr. and Le Click, with the Caribbean Michael Romeo. The songs Sweet Dreams and Tonight Is The Night were released practically together, and Melanie would continue in the group which songwould become most successful. Bad luck for Romeo... But Tonight Is The Night is a very good song, and it's still having massive airplay in USA. So the label decided to revive the project, now with a new formation : Kayo Shekoni in the vocals and Robert Haynes doing the raps.
The second single was entitled Call Me. The versions released in UK and in the USA strongly differed from each other. The American version in same style than Culture Beat Inside Out. UK Airplay version was a real eurodance song.
Produced by German dance auteurs Amir Saraf and Ulli Brenner (the pair behind La Bouche's clubland smashes Sweet Dreams and Be My Lover), with songwriting contributions by Nosie Katzmann, this debut album is state of the art dance-pop, a seamless amalgam of Moroder/Summer-era disco, street-edged hip-hop, house, synthpop and electronics. Call Me Le Click's current single, pits Kayo's seductive soprano with a guest appearanceby Robert Haynes' sing-song rap with a throbbing Europop pulse that sweeps the dance floor in a cathartic epiphany: 'I will be there for you/ if you need someone'. Maria Lucia Lozanes, who would later become Captain Jack's vocalist, did the backing vocals.
Le Click featuring Kayo's debut album has its share of dance-floor hits, but, according to Kayo, "You can listen to the songs at home." "It's not just a club album!" Whether it's the acoustic flamenco guitar on Don't Go, or the pealing church bells on I'm In Trouble, the wide-screen strings on Heaven's Got To Be Better, the sultry soul of Come Into My World or the dance-trance electropop of Something To Dream Of, this lush album is not just your standard toot-toot/beep-beep plastic beats.
"The most important thing for me is to do something that makes me very happy," says Kayo, who has starred in movies in Sweden and co-hosted a popular Swedish game show, but insists for now she will concentrate on one thing at a time. 'To go out and see the world through my music.' With a mixed background to match her melting pop musical sensibility of techno, R&B, soul and disco, Kayo has embraced her heritage whole-heartedly. 'It might sound a little mushy, but sometimes I feel that people like me can work as a bridge between two cultures and different musical styles."
When Kayo and Robert Haynes came to US for promoting their single, Robert disappeared for three days without anybody knowing what had happened. It turned out that he has been arrested because of old unpaid taxes, and Kayo feared that this was the end of Le Click. But the record-company asked Kayo if she wanted to go out and promote Tonight Is The Night by her own...
1997 : their last single to be released was Heaven's Got To Be Better, but it was not very succesful.
2002 : after 5 years of silence, Le Click was said to be back with a new album entitled In Shock 2002. Kayo Shekoni is still a part of the project, with a new partner called Sammuel De Rodas. Actually, the release of this new album has never been confirmed, probably it was only a hoax

Real name : Liane Hegemann.
Lyane was born in Germany on 8th April 1969. She took part as vocalist to many bands such as Twenty-one, Xanadu, Pop Secret, Alle Für Alle, E-Rotic, SEX Appeal, Missing Heart. But she is also composer and author (she released many solo singles in the early nineties), she sold over 3 millions of singles and about 850.000 albums all over the world. She is also a trained producer of multimedia products. Lyane is one of the 3 members of the German label 3H Music.
E-Rotic was established as a project in 1994 by Lyane Leigh, Raz-ma-Taz and David Brandes as her producer and also singer. Till then Lyane had participated in numerous studio productions as a singer and composer (e.g.Fancy or Bad Boys Blue : Come Back And Stay). Lyane and David were familiar with each other from the time they spent together with Xanadu where David was another lead-singer.
In the end of 1995 Lyane and David separated because of their increasing problems in the co-operation between the band and the producers. "He promised me a lot of things during my E-Rotic time, but never was willing to keep his promises. One of these promises was to produce a mixed video (both cartoon and real people). We were never shown in the videos and so we had problems with our concerts, cause no-one really knew us as persons. The biggest problem actually was that he wanted even money from our liveshows, also he was interfering with everything" Lyane Leigh tells. Lyane was replaced by Jeanette Christensen. To avoid a long standing lawsuit about the label 'E-Rotic' Lyane established S.E.X. Appeal. Anyway, she had to keep on singing for E-Rotic until their single Mambo No Sex. "It was not funny at all, but there was nothing I could do about it. As long as my contract lasts, I would have to pay a huge amount if I was telling anybody about it", Lyane says.
She is currently working on her solo carreer and contributing as producer and writer to the dance project Fresh Trends.
2002 : she just finished recording her first solo album Komm Her Zu Mir. It contained some ballads (Jeder Neue Morgen, Du Gibst Mir Kraft and Ich Folge Dir Nach), some German pop songs (Schau Dich Nur An, Blinde Augen and Austauschbar) and some more uptempo tracks (Erleichter Mein Gewissen, Frei Sein, Du Bist and the title-track Komm Her Zu Mir)
2003 : her voice can also be heard on Hardhouse and Do You Think It's Magic, singles of Experience Of Music. She was also featured by Tamo, ex member of Fresh Trends for the single Another Night (released in May). In September she released a solo single called Du Bist (meaning : "you are"),
2004 : in February, a 2.4 version of Do You Think It’s Magic was recorded. In May, Hardhouse resurrected 04 could be found on the Experience of Music website. In June, Hardhouse 2004 (with rap-parts) was featured on a dance compilation.
2005 : Lyane released a new single entitled Jeder Neue Morgen (meaning : "every new morning"), as well as her very first solo album (Komm Her Zu Mir, recorded in 2002).
In private, Lyane's hobbys are computering, reading, watching films and listening to music. Her favourite group is Abba, she also likes Olivia Newton-John, Kim Wilde, George Michael and Michael Jackson. As far as actors are concerned, her favourite are : Johnny Depp, John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John and Sissi Spacek. She loves cats. Her preferred colours are blue and black. Her favourite destinations are Germany, especially Cologne, Scandinavia and also Venlo. She likes eating salmon, ansonsten vegetarisch, and drinking Cola-light, mineral water or Champagne.
2008 : Lyane Leigh is currently producing a new project called Wüste Wüstensöhne. On their first album, she did all female vocals
2010 : Lyane was featured on 2 songs by DanceRockers. Heartbreaker is already available digitally. The other song, entitled Don't Break A Heart, is still a demo. In October, Lyane and Dani D took part to a musical show dedicated to Abba. Lyane is playing the role of Agnetha
2011 : Sam Walkertone featured Lyane Leigh and Keven Kelly on the single Toxic Kiss.
2012 : in July, Lyane was featured on Imprezive meets Pink Planet's handsup single I Can't Believe It and on Coma Baby's nu-disco single Lay Your Love On Me. In September, she did vocals on United Passion's new single Oh No! (Mi corazón). Song competed to be selected as the song which would represent Switzerland at Eurovision Song Contest 2013. In October, she visited Excessive Clubbers' new single Andromeda Girl, released on October 19th.

Leila K. (Laila El Khalifi) is a swedish pop-star born September 6th 1971 in the suburb Bergsjön of Göteborg in Sweden. Her parents are from Morocco. Her dad worked as a trolley driver. Leila did not really enjoy going to school, so she did whatever she could to get thrown out from classes. As she was 15, her parents got angry at her and sent her to a Moroccian school, but after one year (or 3 years according to others), she was sent back to Sweden where, after running away from home, she hung out on bars and discos.
In 1988, through one of those discos she got aware of a music contest, and entered the competition under the name Ms Melodie. Among the jury of the music contest were the members of Rob'n'Raz, and they liked her music so much that they offered her at music contract, which she accepted.
As a result, Leila K's music career started in 1989, with the huge hitrecord Got To Get, which she performed together with Rob'n'raz. According to Leila K. Got To Get should never have been released, but was released due to a huge demand on radio stations. Other hit singles Leila K. and Rob'n'Raz had together was Rok The Nation, Just Tell Me and It Feels So Right. They also released an album called Rob'n'raz feat. Leila K. Leila also appeared on Dr Alban's Hello Afrika.
In 1990 Leila K. and Rob'n'Raz went on a tour, but after a while she got tired of this collaboration and went on her own to Ibiza, where she was welcomed and treated like a real superstar. She managed to arrange concerts of her own, and on those she earned a lot more money per concert than she ever did as a member of Rob'n'raz. Doing so well she didn't want to go back to Sweden, so she had to be forced home. And once home again all the easy money was spent. Since Leila K. ran away from the tour, Rob'n'Raz didn't want to know anything more about her, so she suddenly was on her own.
Her solo career started in 1991, with the first single Time (it was never released on any album). The single was later followed by Magic Ball, another song that has never been released on an album. In 1992 she was back with the monster hitsingle Open Sesame climbing high on the charts all over Europe (becoming for example # 12 in Israel, and # 12 at MTV Europe). The album Carousel came the next year, followed up with singles such as Check The Dan, Ca Plane Pour Moi (a cover of Plastic Bertrand's hit, which went # 21 in Israel, # 9 MTV Europe), Slow Motion and Close Your Eyes.
Although Leila K. did quite good for some years (in 1993 she was the best selling female artist in Europe, where she was called "the new Neneh Cherry"), she also experienced problems. After the success with Rob'n'Raz, she didn't manage to do just as well on her own and to produce songs popular enough to follow up the success with them. After the Carousel album she experienced some real trouble. In 1994 she earned only about 50.000 SEK (about $7,100) and at the end of the year she owed the swedish tax collectors about 122.000 SEK. She actually got bankrupt! She claimed, however, that the debt of 122.000 was just a mistake.
Leila K. does not (as far as we know) have any education, she does not have a drivers license, her only occupation is as pop star. She is extravagant, loves driving in a limmo and loves to be on stage. She has a most unserious view of life : "life is just a party" as she says in her latest album Manic Panic.
After 2 years of inactivity, she returned in December 1995 with the hit single Electric, featuring choruses by Jessica Folcker which became hot on several dance-charts, reaching #18 in Israel, #8 in Belgium and a top 3 single in Sweden and Finland. In the spring of 1996 the second single came : C'mon Now, which was quite different for her earlier singles by beeing more of a rock-track than a dance-track. In the early summer 1996 her latest album was released : Manic Panic. Later the same year a new single was released: Rude Boy, with Papa Dee assisting her on the lyrics. Both C'Mon Now and Rude Boy did quite well as singles. The last single from Manic Panic was Blacklisted, but it never became a success.
Since the spring of 1997 we haven't heard much from Leila K. A reason for that is that she had big trouble finding a producer who would stand by her after she was involved in a serious traffic accident in 1998, and specially after the death of her former producer and friend Denniz PoP in 1999. She suffered from back injuries and had to refuse many offers and collaborations due to these health troubles, for instance a collaboration with the Finnish Boomfunk MC. She won her trial against the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet.
There has however been a little bit of activity. Late 1998 SVT, a Swedish TV-corporation, made a documentary about Leila K's struggle for stardom, entitled Fuck you, fuck you very much. And in 1999 two singles were released : Open Sesame '99 with new remixes of her most popular hit ever, and Burning Up a cover of an old Madonna-song (from the first Madonna album) together with the group Elephant and Castle. She was also featured on Backyard Babies' single I Love to Roll.
1999 : Daisy Dee has released a cover version of Open Sesame. Leila K appeared as a guest in the videoclip.
2001 : she was interviewed by Fredrik Strage in his book Mikrofonkåt and he drew of her the picture of someone whose drug-dependency had led her to lose control over her life. Later, Leila K accused Strage to have stolen money from her during the interview.
2003 : Leila now lives in the streets, a life far away from the stardom and glamour that surrounded her in the early 90s. She has to steal her food and got sometimes arrested by local police. She had 6 months of rehabilitation at an institution in Skåne. She feels betrayed and exploited by those who made her a star in the first place. She still burns for her music, and that she would love to go back in to a studio. Her family never accepted her choice to become an artist and broke up with her.
A new collection of Leila K's greatest hits was released. The profit of the record release is destined to help the pop-star back to a better life. This brand new compilation contains 3 previously unreleased tracks : Positive Energy, Possessed and Burnin' Up. On the second CD one could find the videos of Open Sesame, Slow Motion, Electric, C'mon Now, Close Your Eyes and Got To Get (feat Rob'n' Raz).
2004 : Leila K's hit Open Sesame was covered by Syndicate of Law and renamed Accelerator. Leila K, now 33 years old, spent 3 monthes in jail but kept on claiming that she wants to go back to music.
In 2005, the Swedish cartoonist Martin Kellerman interviewed her for his own Comic book magazine Rocky.
2007 : on June 15th she did an appearance at a release party in Stockholm in the club Marie Laveau, for the gay blog Bögjävlar, performing the songs Electric and Ça plane pour moi. She is still homeless. 2 days after, she got hit by a car at a traffic light in central Stockholm.

Lenin is a project built around Andrey, a multitalented artist : as well vocalist, rapper & dancer. The exclusive producer, songwriter and arranger of project is equally multitalented Yuri Chernavsky. He had been writing the songs for many Russian pop stars since the begining of 80's. Before 1990 he was the co-owner of studio Record, where he used to work with pop singers. In the beginning of 90's he left Record and went to Germany. In 1994 Chernavsky took part to the project Mark'Oh (Tears Don't Lie, Never Stop That Feeling) at studio How's That Music Prod. GmbH. Since 1995 and to this day he's been living and working in Hollywood.
In april 1994 Yuri Chernavsky invited Andrey in Germany to record two songs for a musical project of the company Max C International Incorporation. The English and German musicians were frankly surprised when they saw a guy from Russia who was able to work in the popular eurodance style and to sing so well in English. The recording of songs followed quickly. The result was so amazing that the decision to record a whole album was soon taken.
Among the artists who collaborated with Andrey to the album, were Samira Besic herself (maybe on the track Get Up An Dance), Bruce & Bongo ("Geil"), the rapper Smi Ling from New York, and the African singer Coffee.
The best tracks from the album Magic Tour are probably Mystery, Get Up An Dance and At Your Desire, 3 powerful eurodance tracks. 4 Tea 4 You is the eurodance remake of the single Everybody Gonfi-Gon, originally performed by Two Cowboys. One video was shot, for the single Mystery. The album was released under the label Pikosso records / How's That Music Prod. GmbH.

Levy 9's story is not very different from all the other chorists' stories : she passed from the recording studios routin to the artistic career as solist singer. Levy 9 has been singing since a very young age when her mother enrolled her at singing lessons, just to spend her spare time. She is attracted by the world of fashion and night life, one of her favourite artists is Kate Bush. The idea of recording a dance cover of Running up that hill was hers. The production and the realisation of the single was made by the Union staff.

Got To Move Your Body (15th Aug 1994)

I'm The Girl of Your Dreams (28th Mar 1995)

Lick consists of the two producers Delmundo (aka Wessel van Diepen, radio DJ and also one of the producers of the Vengaboys) and Peran (a DJ in the famous Dutch club IT who has also produced stuff with some other IT dj's like DJ Jean). The vocals on both singles are by Kentucky Martha. On Got To Move Your Body Delmundo and Peran even did some vocals themselves as the heavily vocoded backing vocals. Lick seemed to be pretty close with 2 Brothers On The 4th Floor, because they thank them on both singles and Lick also remixed about every early 2 Brothers single
Unfortunately they didn't make more than these two singles. I'm The Girl Of Your Dreams was later covered by Solid Base who turned this track into a fast happy rave tune.

Lil Suzy's real name is Suzanne Casale and she was born in Brooklyn, New York on the March 1st, 1979. Her career started already when she was 5, when an agent spotted her singing and dancing at Manhattan Beach in Brooklyn. She did renditions of hits by Madonna, Cindy Lauper and a few others and she soon became very popular.
When she was 8 she signed here first record contract. The same year (1987) she appeared on the american show Star Search, although she didn't win it was an acomplishment just to get on the show.
In 1991 her first album Love Can't Wait was released and in 1992, when she was 12, she hade her first hit with Take Me In Your Arms. With this song she got her first gold record and it was Billboards #1 Dance music hit of the year. She also got an award as 1992 Best New Dance Artist. Later in 1992 the second single Falling In Love was released.
The third single to be released was Turn The Beat Around, which is a remake of a classic disco song, and it was followed by her second album called Back To Dance. Suzy didn't like how her second album turned out so when her contract was up she and her parents decided to take control of her career. They started the record label Empress Records and Suzy became the president, which makes her the youngest in the business.
The fourth single out was Promise Me which climbed on the Billboard's Hot 100 Chart. In April 1995 she released her third album, and the first one on her own label, Life Goes On. The fifth single out was Now and Forever. The sixth single out was When I Fall In Love, released in December 1995, which was a pure eurodance track with rap. This single was followed by another single released in
November 1996 called Just Can't Get Over You.
In June 1997 the single Can't Get You Out Of My Mind was released and it was followed by a new album, released in August, called Paradise. Her latest single, which was released in November 1997, is a cover of Netzwerk 's big hit Memories done in freestyle.
In late July, Lil Suzy released I Still Love You, the third single off of her Paradise album. This is her first ballad to be released as a single, but no need to worry, there are plenty of dance mixes. A dance mix was done by none other than Victor Franco. Adam Marano, who produced the original version, has also done a Freestyle/Trip Hop version to satisfy her core fans! An underground House mix was done by Denny Tsettos, who just remixed La Bouche 's You Won't Forget Me. Lil Suzy has also rethe song in Spanish, which is said by many to sound way better than the english version.
In summer of 1998 Lil Suzy signed her first act to her Empress Label. No Shame, a group from Philadelphia, will be releasing their debut single One Night which features the freestyle diva in the fall of 1998.
The fourth single single off the album Paradise called You're The Only One was released on November 23, 1999 (and not in April as it was initially planned)
A Lil Suzy Megamix was released in the winter of 1999/2000 and it included remixes of Take Me In Your Arms, Real Love, Till The End Of Time and much more.
Lil Suzy opened a nail salon on Staten Island October 2nd, 2000. She was very busy for 3 months when she was in school acquiring her nail technician license 5 days a week and doing her shows on the weekends. Meanwhile she said she was currently sorting through some material and waiting for something she absolutely love. Then she would record it.
2007 : Lil' Suzy is pregnant. She recently announced it during a show in Orlando
2009 : Lil Suzy is back ! Her new single is entitled Dance Tonight, digital release is set on June 18th 2009
2012 : in October, she gave birth to her third child, a baby boy called John Vincent.

Litzy Vanya Domínguez Balderas is a an actress and singer born in Ciudad de México on October 27th 1982. She started her singing carreer as a member of the teen-pop project Jeans, then she left in 1997, being replaced by Melissa López Zendejas, and went solo, releasing 3 albums. The first one was entitled Transparente, produced by Eduardo Posada and released in 1998. Only 6 monthes after its released, it had already sold 200.000 copies in Latin America. The single No Te Extraño scored a big hit, also in Europa. It was even included on the soundtrack of the movie "Sexo, Pudor y Lágrimas". The follow-up single was the very successful ballad Quisiera ser mayor.
In 2000, the album Más Transparente was released. It was succesful as the previous one. 3 singles were taken form this album : No Hay Palabras, Yo Vivo Por Ti and Espejismo (the 2 latest did not score very big hit).
Her third album La Rosa was released in 2003. The success was not enough for her to keep on in her singing carreer.
She also appeared in many telenovela : DKDA Sueños de "Juventude" (on Televisa), "Daniela" and "Amarte Asi" (on Telemundo), and most recently "Pecadora" (on Venevisión). There is a controversy according to which she could not be the daughter of famed Latin American singer Jose Luis Rodríguez "El Puma".

Live 2 Love used to be the name of Farina's production dedicated at first exclusively to make dance covers to Eros Ramazotti's songs, like La Cosa Más Bella and Estrella Gemela, always with female vocals.
1997 : Time To Say Goodbye : it was just a matter of waiting: Farina surely wouldn't let this one escape. The song most sold in Europe ever (will there be another record in 1998?) received a 5 stars dance cover from the SAIFAM team. The duo Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman became one voice in the cover, and what a voice... Farina probably hadn't to go far from Verona to find the female vocalist
1997 : Spending My Time This new song was originally recorded by Roxette in 1993, and appeared in their Joyride album. Slow rock songs are a problem to dance remakers, because they have to increase the pitch without 'pitching' the voice... Farina decided to use a fast tempo but keeping the voice in its original speed.

Composers and producers : Paulo and Gianni Visnadi
Paulo and Gianni Visnadi were working in England as dance music composers, they started the project for Livin' Joy in 1993 with Janice Robinson as female vocalist. They released a single entitled Dreamer which was so successful that it was re-released in 1995. Dreamer was # 28 in Israel, # 18 in the UK in it's first release and # 1 there after the second release.
Then Janice left the group. The Visnadi bros. met Tameka Starr in Liverpool '94. She had spent most of her childhood on military bases around Europe and always wanted to be famous. When Tameka's soulful lyrics and the Visnadi bros. up tempo beats mixed, the hits started coming. Don't Stop Movin' was perfect for a follow up single, it was a worldwide hit in the second half of 1996. It reached #5 in UK, #1 in Italy, # 6 in Israel, and #3 in Australia. It sold a total of 2 million copies worldwide. Singles to follow were Follow The Rules (# 8 in Israel, # 8 in the UK), Where Can I Find Love (# 9 in Israel, # 12 in the UK), Deep In You (which also contained a Megamix). Then the debut album Don't Stop Movin'. was released, it contained a secret song which was Dreamer (sung by Janice Robinson). It reached #41 in UK.
Livin' Joy were pretty quiet in 1998, but made a huge comeback in 1999 with the release of the new single Just For The Sex Of It. This up-tempo infectious dance song became a club anthem announcing a second album also entitled Just For The Sex Of It. It should have be released the same year but nothing finally came out.

Kelly knew since the age of 4 that she would become a singer. As she was only 12, she was spotted and took part to the broadcast Wack-A-Day. She entered Drama School as she was 16, and started her first band, called Freedom. But her real musical career started at 18 years old when she provided the vocals to N-Trance's hit Set You Free.
N-Trance (Longworth and O'Toole) were two of her friends from the college where she lived in Manchester. N-Trance at the time were signed up by Pete Waterman who's been responsible for huge his in the late eighties and early ninties for artists such as Kylie Minogue, Sybil, Mel & Kim... However, due to distribution and legal problems, Set You Free did not get the success it deserved. After almost a year in late 1993 All Around The World (AATW) records decided to give N-Trance another chance and released the track. But once again the release was a failure. On its second release in 1994 it peaked at #39. But on it was on its third release that it took the UK by storm spending countless weeks on the chart in mid 1995.
Thanks to the success of Set You Free, Kelly could record her first solo single Brighter Day. Sadly the track never really took off... Only a team up with old mates N-Trance with Mind Of The Machine in 1997 gave Kelly another top 40 in the nineties. Her voice was also featured on the songs Paradise City, Shake Your Body, Tears In The Rain...
In 2001 N-Trance decided to make a collection of the best remixes of Set You Free and put them out as a single. This proved to be highly successful making it a hit all over again all around Europe. Kelly's services were called upon once again to promote the new mixes and a fine job she did of it too !
Kelly took part to the release of a cover of Prince's single 1999 in association with Nelson, Marcel Romanov and Stay C.
Shortly after Kelly was asked to re-record the old Rank 1 club hit True Love Never Dies by Flip & Fill. The track was a huge hit all over Europe in late 2001 and a big top 10 in the UK in early 2002. And in July 2002 Kelly finally achieved solo success with a superb version of Taylor Dayne's Tell It To My Heart which peaked #9 on the UK chart. More recently Kelly released a new track Forever with N-Trance which made #6 in September 2002. Kelly's long awaited debut album All Clubbed Up was released in November.
One Day I'll Fly Away was released as a promotional 12" and very rare promotional digipack CD. It was never commercially released. It's a cover of the classic song, sung most recently by Nicole Kidman in the film Moulin Rouge.
2003 : Kelly contributed to N-Trance's single Destiny. A follow-up was already planned. She may also release a solo single entitled Right Now.
2004 : In February she released a brand new single entitled This Time I Know It's For Real. It was produced by Riffs & Rays. In March it reached #5 in Irish charts. It was originally a hit all over the world for Donna Summer in 1989.
2006 : Next single from Kelly will be called Nobody Like You. The club promo was released in January. Her second album should follow... She will also be the vocalist on a new single by Riffs & Rays.
2007 : Kelly's single was entitled I Will Love Again. It was a cover of Lara Fabian's song, in a much more powerful dancy style. She once again rejoined N-Trance to record the new tracks for their forthcoming album : the future single Nothing Lasts Forever and the tracks Stronger (written specially for her) and You're My Angel. She also recorded a cover of the song All Time High for the compilation Forever Bond.
2008 : Kelly's been working with Love to Infinity on a number of new tracks for their forthcoming album, including Hot Stuff (cover of Donna Summer famous track), Keep Love Together and You Gotta Love Me.
2009 : Kelly recorded her seventh solo track, a cover of the Madonna song, Dress You Up, released under label All Around The World. This track along with many others was sung on the Clubland Live tour at the end of 2008. It was announced by N-Trance that Kelly had once again left the band in order to concentrate on her solo career.
In Music Week magazine, it was announced that Dress You Up had reached number one in the upfront club chart and that Kelly will soon be releasing a new single with project Love to Infinity.
2011 : Kelly Llorenna is currently member of project Freak Asylum, under the stage name Lola Leethal. Freak Asylum is produced by Love To Infinity. Their upcoming single is entitled You Better Leave

Loft stands for 'Live Our Fathers' Teaching'. The members are the Jamaican rappers Courtney Dean St Patrick Williams and Richard Wayne Williams, aka Ranking Richie, and various vocalists, including Lori Glori Gina Mohammed, Sandra Steinborn and Kim Sanders. Produced by DMP (Michael Eisele and Dietmar Stehle), Loft makes a very upbeat sound, varying from eurodance to what is called euro-reggae (an electronic reggae style, done by European groups like Ace Of Base, for instance).
Born in Kingston, Jamaica, the Williams brothers came to Germany with the US-Army. In Nürnberg they worked at the same time in a small recording studio in which demos for newcoming artists were produced.
All the singles became eurodance classics. The first one was Hold On, which peaked # 8 in Israel. It featured the voices of Kim Sanders and Magdalena Reyes. The texts were written by Nosie Katzmann with C. & R. Williams, the music was composed by Attack II, Giora Schein and Nosie Katzmann. It was recorded in 1993 and released the following year. A remixes single was also released, included a 3-nuts mix and a mix by TNT.
Wake The World, the debut album of Loft, was something very surprising. By the time of its release, there was nothing alike in the market, so innovation was the word. It featured the voice of Gina Mohammed apart from Hold On and Live It Up (which used vocals of Lori Glori).
It was followed by the hits Wake The World (with remixes done by Thorsten Adler, who also co-wrote the track Mad) and Love Is Magic. Even the one which flopped (only # 21 in Israel), Summer Summer Summer, was a great euro-reggae anthem.
Future World was the second album of Loft. Released in 1997, its sound was still great eurodance, fortunately with less reggae influences than the previous one. At this time, LOFT vocalist was not Gina anymore, she had been replaced by Sandra Steinborn. The production team was still done by the Cyborg team , DMP and Nosie Katzmann.
The single tracks, Don't Stop Me Now and It's Raining Again were the best ones (the last one sounded very DJ Bobo-ish since it was written by Axel Breitung and featured vocals by Christiane Eiben).
Afterwards, 2 new singles not featured on the album were released. With Long John Silver they went back to their euro-reggae roots. Their last single, Mallorca, was a homage to one of the most beautiful islands in Europe. It went #1 in Mexico and was even covered by a project called My Orca. Afterwards they decided to make a pause.
1999 : they released a Best Of album including a previously unreleased track : Hang On Sloopy.
2003 : LOFT, like many German eurodance groups, released a 2004 version of their hit Summer Summer Summer
2004 : LOFT are back for good with a brand new single called Still Number One. The Courtney brothers were is still a part of the group they created, but the female vocalist was new. They had teamed up with new producers : Andreas Hüging and M. Abbing, and the manager Marino Menichelli. The sound was definitevely ragga, but the B-side We Pray was dance.
Sue, the new vocalist, is also a bassist and composer. In 15 she created her first own band, ThisBadLife, renamed ElectricCircus... The trend was punk. An album had been recorded, and the group even toured. She took part as vocalist to the project Naive in 1997. She released a solo single called Bliss in February 2004.
2005 : the new single was entitled Love Can't Be Wrong. Written and composed by C. and R. Williams along with Andreas Huging, it was licensed under Warner Chappel and contained a B-side called Loft Scratch. An album was planned. The following tracks could be included : Ayaya, Bliss, Close, Free For You, Illuminare, Love Can't Be Wrong, Love In Motion, No More, Scratch, Still Number One, To You, We Pray, Windy Night.
2006 : Sue was featured on Reunion of Dance's first single Rebirth of Tonight

Look Twice includes one of Sweden's brightest singers, Veronica Larsson and a rapping duo : Wincent (alias Vinny) and Crazy G, two guys who call their music 'positive hip hop'. Upbeat tracks with unescapable hooks and some of the fastest and wittiest rap around. They established in 1992 and they made their debut with the hit single Shake That Rump in June 1993. Their second single followed one year later in spring 1994 (August 1994 for Germany) and was entitled Move That Body, officialy featuring the voice of Gladys (or more likely Zetma Prembo).
Then came the single Mr Dance And Mr Groove, probably featuring Blossom Tainton and not Gladys Del Pilar (both would later become members of Afro-Dite project).
The first album Twice As Nice came out the same year, after more than 200 public appearances. It includes tracks e.g. Go Away, Feel The Night and That's The Way (I Like It). To continue their funky spirits, several singles were released in 1995 and 1996; like Go Away or Feel The Night. These singles received excellent reviews in Billboard and went up several international charts thanks to the support from their loyal young fans throughout the world.
Look Twice have through the years performed exceptionally well on radio, club and sales charts around the world, e.g. in the US, Canada, Japan, Germany, Australia, New Zeeland, Poland, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, South Africa, the Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore, South Korea and China. They say that their music is inspired and influenced by artists like Mark Morrison, Fugge's, Frank Sinatra, Treble & Bass, Prodigy and Disco from the 70's.
The album Happy Hour was released in 1995 in Japan only (label : MNW Dance Records). Raps were done by Patrick Wincent.
Early 1997 Look Twice teamed up with producer Johan Bejerholm - who previously has produced platinum selling acts like Trampolines, Treble & Bass and Family Tree - to produce their new album Celebrate. The new album contained 13 songs. Unfortunately the band had decided to change style from fast eurodance to R&B. In 1997 released second album Celebrate's first single Do U Wanna Boogie was a fiasco but the next singles gained popularity. Their singer Veronica left to create the bubble-gum project Smile.
In 1998 Look Twice returned from their second Asian tour. As the first western pop act ever, Look Twice performed on national TV and did a three week tour in major cities in China. Encouraged by the love and gifts from their Asian fans, Look Twice were ready to present their new album to the world.
2001 : Look Twice were back with a new album called 3 Is A Crowd, released in Japan only. At this time, Wincent was the only original member of the group. This album was produced by Chris Ljung and Patrik Wincent.
2008 : Imre keeps performing under the name of Look Twice, together with different artists, even if Patrick Wincent is the one who owns copyright of the name.
2010: Look Twice are back with the new single, Move That Body, a remake of the old version. Patrik Wincent is today the only original member of the group. 2 vinyls entitled Best Selection vol.1 and Best Selection vol.2 were released in Japan.
2011 : Look Twice released a new single entitled Fire.

Loona, formerly known as Carisma (real name : Marie-Jose van der Kolk) was born September 16th in Ijmuide in the Netherlands. She is not only a singer, but also a songwriter and dancer. She did studies of commercial assistant, and used to be a ballet-teacher. She is 1,64m tall, loves horseriding and dancing...
She met DJ Sammy in the Joy Palace, a discotheque in Mallorca. She began to work for him as a dancer, then she took the alias Carisma and became her vocalist. Life Is Just A Game was her first hit with DJ Sammy. Sammy later became her husband.
Then she went solo, still produced by DJ Sammy, under the name Loona. The first single was a cover of Paradisio's hit Bailando and it became the summer song of 1998 in Germany, awarding her an Echo award. In the Autumn it was followed by another cover, Hijo de la luna (originally sung by the Spanish band Mecano), with the newly formed Orchestra De La Luna, which also reached #1 in German charts and was chosen as RTL's Christmas song. Next release was her first album called Lunita, where all the songs were in Spanish.
1999 : after Donde Vas, the smash hit single Mamboleo reached #3 in the German Singles chart, enabling Loona to receive the second Echo award of her career. The song was inspired from Herbetr Gronemeyer's Mambo. The follow-up Salvador Dali, an homage to the famous painter, did not make it to top 50.
2000 : neither did the follow-up La Vida Es Una Flor, but the next single Latin Lover (inspired from The Greatest Lover) went #6 in Germany and Austria. It appeared on her Greatest Hits album.
2001 : Loona recorded a song entitled Do You Believe In Magic for the English version of the soundtrack of a Danish film, "Help! I'm A Fish".
2002 : Loona released Rhythm Of The Night (a cover of the Turkish superstar Sezen Aksu), followed by Colors.
2003 : she did a tour with Pink, the Sugababes and Bon Jovi. This was sad year for her since she lost her mother.
2004 : Loona released the single Tears In Heaven (a cover of a song by Eric Clapton), and did vocals on DJ Sammy's single Rise Again.
2005 : Her new single Oye El Boom was featured on RTL Beach volleyball. She gave birth to a baby, Saphira Maria, and it was time for a pause...
2008 : She signed a contract with Sony as a solo artist, without Sammy. Her new single Salam Aleikoum is an hymn to peace sung in French. The same year, was jury member of the German version of the real-TV show Popstars, along with Sido and Detlef Soost.
2009 : in May, she performed a new song during ZDF Frühlingsshow, entitled Et Me Voilà, as well as a medley of her previous hits. In June, her new single was released. Entitled Parapapapapa, it covered a track by Cidinho & Doca called Rap Das Armas which was #1 in all Latin America countries. In December, her new single Life Is Just A Game 2010, a collaboration with top-model DJane La Mica, was released
2010 : Loona's new single was called Vamos A La Playa, cover of Miranda's hit. She presented it on June 13th in Berlin at the FIFA WM Fanmeile, and it was released at the end of July.
2011 : Loona's next single was a collaboration with Movetown entitled El Cucaracho. Follow-up single was entitled El Tiburon.
2012 : In March, Loona takes part to TV Total Wok Weltmeisterschaft 2012. In April, she competed again for das Perfekte Promi Dinner in Mallorca. Her new single Policia hit the stores on May 18th. The same month, she did a very sexy photoshoot for German edition of magazine Playboy.

British dancer, theater actor and pop singer Kim Lukas (Kim Joanne Woodcock) was born in Redhill (Surrey, England) in 1977. She spent her 13 years with her family in Surrey, where she subsequently moved to Thornton-Cleveleys. She has a interest in reading books, especially biographies, and attend concerts, festivals and various kinds of musical performances to buy a lot of music. She lives currently in Italy and her older brother currently lives in Malaga, Spain.
Kim studied for 2 years at a performing arts college, where she earned a BTEC Extended Diploma. Then she graduated at Academy of Live and Recorded Arts of London. The time she was 12 years old would be her first time performing in a television broadcast of the show Blue Peter, where she sang Hark the Herald Angels Sing. She was involved in Drama Clubs for two years at the Morris Dancer. After some initial theatrical experience, she would interpret Puck in a production of A Midsummer Night's Dream by the English Shakesphere Company
Lukas met Dbone music through her producer, Roberto Turatti. She was revelation of the summer '99 with All I Really Want, and established like an eurodance pop star with the follow-up Let It Be The Night
After the release of To Be You her first album With a K was out worldwide, licensed by the Italian label DB One. The new release single Cloud 9 was expected to be another hit. But it was probably not succesful enough since we stopped hearing from Kim for a while...
2002 : she worked as a presenter on Gay TV's European Top 20
2003 : she co-wrote the song This Is My DJ with DJ Aichino for the project Hard In Tango.
2007 : she released with Nathalie from the Soundlovers the single Change The World. They had been working together since 1999 for various promotions all over the world, and also with Neja as part of the project Girls Party. Nathalie and Kim became friends, they have often been mistaken one for the other, so much so that sometimes they were given back the wrong passports at customs. The two have therefore had the idea of singing "like two real sisters".
2010 : Kim Lukas, Neja, Nathalie Aarts from the Soundlovers, Be Angel, Viviana Presutti (Da Blitz), Ryan Paris, P.Lion, Luca Zeta and Miko Mission joined to form the charity project Bandance. The single Guiding Star (an homage to Michael Jackson) will be released on June 25th. All incomes will go to San Paolo Hospital in Mailand.

At an age when most writers and producers are just learning their professional chops, 31-year-old Kristian Lundin has proved himself to be a musical powerhouse, collaborating with some of the industry's biggest names. International chart-toppers such as Celine Dion, the Backstreet Boys and 'NSync have all benefited from his song writing and producing magic, which are winning him worldwide acclaim -- and racking up impressive numbers (100 million record sales at last count).
Beginning his career as a member of the Swedish duo Amadin, Kristian's writing and production talents were quickly recognized by music industry icon Denniz PoP, who invited him to join the Cheiron Studios team just as they began their incredible string of successes in 1992. This is how they worked with artists such as E-Type, Papa Dee and Herbie.
Kristian's big break internationally came with the song Quit Playing Games With My Heart by the Backstreet Boys, which helped launch them into the pop stratosphere and into becoming one of the most successful acts of the 90's. As an encore, Kristian quickly followed that success by co-writing & producing Tearin Up My Heart for 'NSync, which became their hot ticket to the charts.
Following the untimely death of Denniz PoP, Kristian continued to work with fellow members of the Cheiron team, including Max Martin, Andreas Carlsson and Jake Schulze, carrying on the hit-making legacy by writing and producing hits like “Bye Bye Bye” with 'NSync, Britney Spears' Born To Make You Happy, That's The Way It Is for Celine Dion, and a host of other top international artists. Kristian's golden touch and special alchemy with Celine Dion continued with two other noteworthy collaborations, I'm Alive, Coulda' Woulda' Shoulda and The Greatest Reward which he co-wrote and co-produced.
Always with his capable hands in other projects, he continued churning out the hits for the Backstreet Boys, receiveing a Grammy-nomination for producing I Want It That Way together with Max Martin and contributing both as a producer and writer on Larger Than Life, As Long As You Love Me, Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely, EveryOne and Not For Me.
As might be expected, envy-inspiring accolades have followed. Kristian was nominated yet again for a Grammy for the second consecutive year in the U.S. -- this time for the monster hit Bye Bye Bye with 'NSync, which he co-wrote and co-produced. In addition to his Grammy nominations, he's also been presented with four American Diamond Awards and received an honor from SKAP (Swedish Composers Of Popular Music) in 2002.

Peter Luts is a DJ and songwriter known as one of the leading forces behind successful projects Astroline and Lasgo. His musical career started at the age of 12 when he got a small organ. Shortly after that, he bought his first synthesizer and started composing his own tracks. He got involved in several bands, but soon he realized his skills and talent would lead him to composing and producing music on his own. Influenced by such artists as Depeche Mode and Jean Michel Jarre, as well as the thriving Belgian club scene, Peter started making dance music. His first release was titled Plato, an ambient album.
He then met manager Stefan Wuyts, the founder of A&S Productions, who immediately noticed Peter’s exceptional talent. His first release on A&S was Heliac. The track was highly successful in clubs all over Europe.
Peter also produced most of the tracks from the latest Ian Van Dahl album... But Lasgo and Ian van Dahl are just 2 of the many projects Peter contributes to. He has been working with many artists such as DJ Philip, Des Mitchell and Jimmy Goldschmitz to write tracks that are now known as classic club anthems. Other club projects that carry Peter’s distinct sound are Abnea, Heliac, Outrowz, Groovewatchers. He also remixed tracks by Dee Dee, Milk Inc and Kate Ryan.
2010 : Luts Peter released a new single entitled The rain, featuring Let's Go Lasgo finalist Lien Vervoort. This summer he starts a new real-TV casting on Jim TV. Entitled ''Looking for Pearl'', this new show will cast one singer and 2 dancers to form an entirely new act... It will be shot from June 28th till July 12th. Pearl should be the new project name, after main sponsor Tampax’ product line.

Lydia Madajewski was born on the 30th March 1980 in Graudenz (Poland) . She did an office training at Bros Music. She gave her voice to some studio projects such as Missing Heart, then became E-rotic's voice since 1999. But Jeanette Christensen, the official frontwoman, kept on doing the live shows. Then, after Jeanette left, she was replaced by Yasmin, who did not stay very long. Afterwards, the Bros Music team decided to reveal Lydia to the world. "We didn't hide Lydia... Actually the reason why she wasn't supposed to go on stage, was the fact, that we were planning another project with Lydia... Anyway, we re-scheduled this plan" David Brandes explains.
Lydia currently lives in Grenzach-Wyhlen. She is 1,72 m for 55 kg. She has eclectic musical tastes : she loves everything with a nice melody ! For dancing, she enjoys for example black music. Her favourite artists are Craig David, Roxette, Ace Of Base, Laith Al-Deen, Xavier Naidoo, Celine Dion, Sarah McLachlan... As far as her hobbies are concerned, she likes swimming, inline-skating, making musik, laughing, cinema and dancing.
2008 : Lydia is nowadays working in marketing business in Switzerland and she won't do anything more in "official" music business.

Lynda Aguirre Thomas is a singer, songwriter and producer born on December 21st, 1981, in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. She currently resides in the US.
She was first discovered in 1989, as she was only 8, by producers Carlos Lara and Tino Geizer during a singing contest named "Fantasia Musical". However, her parents decided to delay the recording of an album in order to allow their daughter to concentrate on school and to grow a little bit older. So, her first album Lydia was not released until 1996. From that album sprang three songs Gira que gira, Blue Jeans and El amor no tiene edad. Success was immediate. She received an award from a top selling teen magazine ERES (Best New Singer of 1996).
Her second album Un grito en el corazón was released in 1997. Many hits came from this album : Un grito en el corazón which was massively played on the radios, but also Dile, Bang bang and Corazón.
Later on, she went to work on what was to be her third album, retiring from the music scene during 8 months. She only made a brief comeback in early 1999 to participate with other fellow artists in the recording of the song El Pescador. The song was created as an homage to Pope John Paul II during his visit to Mexico in 1999. Meanwhile, she decided to move to Los Angeles, California, where she took English and music lessons.
Mi Día De La Independencia was the title of her third album. Released in mid-1999, this new musical production offered Lynda the opportunity to branch out and experiment with different genres and musical styles. At least four singles from Mi Dia De La Independencia became hits : Maldita Timidez, No Quiero Verte, Corazón perdido and Mi Día de la Independencia.
When Lynda turned 18, she became an activist and participant of several organizations like Greenpeace and Lazos. She had always felt deeply concerned over human rights issues and the constant degradation of the environment. Lynda made use of what fame she had to warn youth about environmental destruction and other global problems.
2000 : Lynda was involved in the production of a telenovela called Primer Amor: A mil por hora. She was hired to perform two musical theme songs for the teen melodrama. The songs were A Mil Por Hora and Laberinto. Then she went back to her fourth album recording.
2001 : the new album Polen was released. It contained 11 songs, most of them written by Lynda herself. The songs Lo Mejor de Mí, Mala Leche, and Para Tí were taken from the album. Afterwards, she decided to make a pause, to continue her studies (English and music) and to write some songs (some of them for other artists, for instance the pop band RBD).
2006 : Lynda wrote the song No pares and she directed the gospel chorus that was part of 4 songs that were included in the collective album Live in Hollywood. She then adopted the artistic name "Lynda Thomas".
2008 : she is currently working on her fifth album, which is expected to be released in 2009.
