I Want Your Mind (1996)
Music (1999)

First single from this project created by Davide Di Marcantonio, Massimo Zanardi and Valerio Zaninelli was I Want Your Mind, a happy hardcore song. It was masterded at The Workroom in Genova (Italy) and released in 1996.

Music appeared for the first time on compilation Dancemania X4 in October 1999. Written by Davide Di Marcantonio and Massimo Zanardi, it was a very nice eurodance track featuring a solo female vocalist.

Musical team : Dee Dee Halligan, Junior Torello. Nestor Alexander Haddaway was born 9th of January 1965 in Tobago, Trinidad (West Indies).

His father is a marine biologist and his mother a nurse. He has several siblings, among them a sister called Joanne, who is a travel agent in the USA, and a brother called Lester. The artist grew up in Washington DC, USA (or New York according to a French magazine). He was very shy and stuttered during his childhood. He used to be a fan of the Beatles, Police and Prince, he learns how to sing, to dance, and to play the trumpet and the guitar, before relocating to Cologne, Germany in 1987, to find employment as a singer and dancer. He has a college degree in marketing (previously he began medecine studies in the Chicago University but he gave up after 2 years and a half), his own business career (he is a stylist and a choreograph), his own fashion company (Energy) and until 1994 was completely self-managed. Prior to his chart residencies he was also a professional American footballer for the Cologne Crocodiles.

There he formed a band, El(e)gato, with keyboard player Alex Trime, before embarking on solo work with the production duo of Dee Dee Halligan (Tony Hendrik) and Junior Torello (his wife Karin Hartmann) in 1992. They had previously produced Bad Boys Blue, Chypnotic and the Hollies. Backed by the songwriting and production expertise of Trime, Halligan and Torello, What Is Love, originally written as a ballad, only for his own pleasure, eventually reached # 2 in the UK charts in April 1993, as well as #2 in Israel, #11 in the US Billboard Hot 100 chart (where it sold Gold), #1 in Europe, and #1 at MTV Europe. It was covered by Tee Green in 1993 and by St James in 2002. The style was also imitated by plenty of artists, for instance Bobby Ross in his single What About It or Daddy K in his single Voulez-vous Coucher Avec Moi. Licensed to Arista Records from his German home at Coconut Records /Logic Records, Haddaway he scored a huge crossover hit throughout Europe. The videoclip starred his longtime girlfriend Gloria, a dancer who toured with him.

Life also earned good chart position a few months later, ensuring Haddaway's status as Europe's most successful solo artist of 1993. It stayed #1 for 2 weeks in Israel, reached #6 in the UK, # 33 in the US, #1 in Europe, and #1 at MTV Europe. Videoclip was shot in Francfort, with another of the dancers of his team, Bettina. Haddaway was elected male singer of the year in 1993 in Israel and best singer by the reader of German Popcorn magazine.

His debut album, however, was little more than a roster of fillers sandwiching the hits. It featured the voices of Lisa Noya, Elkie Schlimbach and Rena R. Otta as background. It achieved gold status in France and reached # 8 in the UK charts in November 1993. In 1994 he again scored significant success with two further singles, I Miss You (a slow, which reached #7 in Israel, #7 in the UK , and # 3 MTV Europe) and Rock My Heart (which stayed # 1 in Israel for 2 weeks, and reached # 8 in UK, # 6 at MTV Europe) and began his first European tournee. Rock My Heart was covered by the Italian project Orlando.

The second album, The Drive was then released in 1995. The first single to be released was Fly Away, it reached # 4 Israel, # 20 UK, # 12 MTV Europe The follow-up Catch A Fire reached # 4 in Israel, but failed to enter the top 40 in UK.

3 other songs : Breakaway, Waiting For A Better World, and Another Day Without You were at first planned to become singles. They were released as promo, but finally the official release was cancelled.

In 1995 he left Cologne to settle in Monaco (to avoid paying taxes). The clothes he wears are very important for him : he likes dressing cool but smart. He is absolutely athee. He thinks that love will be the main value for the forthcoming century. He presents himself as being patient, tolerant, and having a sens of logic. He only sleeps 5 hours a night. With his girlfriend Marijke he spends 6 holiday weeks a year in his native country. He loves reading and going out to search for mushrooms. He likes eating spicy food and finds German meals tasteless.

1998 : he released his third album Let's Do It Now. 3 singles were taken from this album : What About Me, Who Do You Love and You're Taking My Heart. Who Do You Love went #26 in Israel.

1999 : a Best Of album was released.

2001 : Haddaway is back with a brand new single entitled Deep and an album : My Face containing 13 new tracks, unfortunately with a majority of ballads and too little danceable tracks.

2003 : Haddaway released his new single What Is Love Reloaded under the label Kontor. The vinyl included 3 mixes : a Reloaded mix, a Jens O. hard remix, and a What is club mix. A new album is planned : entitled Overdrive, it will include new version of What Is Love (Reloaded).

2004 : in February Haddaway took part to the German TV program Comeback - Die Grosse Chance. The concept of the show was to select who, among stars who had a huge success during the past years and were now almost forgotten, would have the opportunity to record a new single. In the first broadcast they sung their biggest hit (for Haddaway, it was of course What Is Love). Then, during the following shows, they had to sing a song of different styles, sometimes very far from the style in which they had succeeded. An eliminating vote from a jury and the public ended every show. Among the other competitors, the rapper Coolio, the singers Emilia, CC Catch, Limahl, Chris Norman, the Weather Girls... Even if all his appearances were technically perfect, he was finally eliminated in March after 4 shows. He recorded with all the other artists a single under the name Comeback United Survivor.

2005 : in January, 2 best Of albums were released : Hit Collection Vol.1 and Vol. 2, gathering the main tracks of his previous albums.

Haddaway took part to the UK TV show Hit Me Baby One More Time, based on the same concept than Comeback the previous year. Unfortuntaly, he did not make it to the final.

In July he released another best of album entitled What Is Love, which had approximatively the same tracklisting as Hit Collection Vol.1. Then came a brand new single entitled The Spaceman. Unfortunately if was not eurodance, but a ballad. It contained another slow acoustic song on the B-side entiteld Shout. It entered the German charts. Finally, the brand new album was released on the 18th of July. Entitled Pop-Splits, it contained 12 brand new tracks.

2007 : Rumors told that Haddaway could be back with a new album, named Crucified, the release date is not yet known. A DVD entitled All The Best | His Greatest Hits & Videos was released.

2008 : What Is Love was chosen for the new Pepsi light ad (with probably a little reference to the movie A Night At The Roxbury as well), broadcasted during the Superbowl 2008. Dr Alban and Haddaway released working together a new single. Entitled I Love The 90's, it was released on May 31st. Female vocals were done by Malin Sundström, from the Caramell project.

2010 : Haddaway now lives in Kitzbühel (Austria). In March, he was back with a new single entitled You Gave Me Love, a pure eurodance track in the What Is Love style, produced by Tony Hendrik.

2012 : Haddaway and The Mad Stuntman (Reel 2 Real) released a collaboration entitled Up And Up. Lynx & Pico did a remix of What Is Love which entered the official Danish sales chart Tracklisten and was nominated for Danish Deejay Awards for best Danish remix of the year.

2013 : Emergency Gate did a heavy metal of What is Love, with Haddaway himself as guest. In August, he was featured on 2 releases of Blutonium Boy : Everything and Wild Wild Baby. In November, 2 mixes collections of Haddaway's greatest hits were released : What Is Love (The Mixes) and The Hit Mixes (in 5 volumes).

2014 : in March, What Is Love was covered by Almighty Showgirls. In April, Haddaway and Loona were featured on Swiss DJs duo Flava and Stevenson's album Quantum Of Dance.

You & You (1997)

Natascha was born in Austria in December 1974. Her musical carreer started in 1979 when, as she was only a child, she took part to the TV broadcast Sing Mit, singing a folk-song. Then in 1981 she appeared in another broadcast, together with the Austrian singer Reinhold Bilgeri. Some years passed... and in 1989 Natascha took part to the Rudi-Carrell-Show, (broadcasted in Germany, Austria and Switzerland) where she performed Madonna's hit Like a Prayer.

In 1991 she took part to the preselections for the Eurovision contest. But her song Gebt den Kindern dieser Welt..., composed by former members of the group Joy, was not elected. The same year she released her first single, Rockabilly Mädel, a cover-version of Rockabilly Rebel. But it did not have that much success. Meanwhile, from 1990 to 1994, she worked for Sony, recording background vocals for various productions.

In 1993 she contributed to the song Die jungen Klosterfrauen in the TV show Elf 99. This song was a dance-version of the Grand-prix winner title of folk music An a Wunder hob' i glaubt. It was released as a single afterwards.

In 1996 she took part to the show Teleclubbing, in which she presented the Chippendales and also performed. This same year she signed a contract with the Spanish label Blanco y Negro Music S.A

Her first major breakthrough was You & You, released in 1997. It was written by Joan Enric Garde and Joan Vives, published by Actual Music and released by Quality Records. It reached #2 in the Spanish charts and stayed there several weeks. It was licensed to other countries including the USA, and remixed by producers for record companies, such as Todd Terry's label Warlock Records for worldwide export. This song was aired for a perfume TV-commercial.

The same year she released Calling You, a song that she had co-written. It was nominated best song in the field of "Other musical categories" by SGAE (Society of Authors and Music Publishers) and AIE (Association for Artists) in Spain. Also, it was signed under Sony Music for compilations.

In February 1998 she released a dance-version of the theme song from the motion picture Titanic, My Heart Will Go On. It was #14 in the Spanish charts for two weeks.

The same year her voice was featured by the project Space Airhon Bananas, on the track Crash Boom Bang : she co-wrote the music and the lyrics.

In 1999 she co-wrote the single Just Tell Me Why for Spanish Italodance singer Cassandra. Then in 2000 she co-wrote the singles Rien Ne Va Plus and Doobi Doobi Doo (Don't Be Shy) to the same singer.

The same year, came the track Sweet La La Love, that she co-wrote by F. Galera, R. Herrera, one of her best tracks. It was released under Vale Music and licensed in several countries.

Later she oriented her carreer to eurotrance. She took part to the German project Glow and won the VIVA-Contest 2001 with the song Every Single Day. In 2001 too, she released the single Que Sera in Spain.

2002 : the single Without You was released, still under the label Vale Music in Spain. It reached #13 in the spanish airplay-charts. She co-wrote with Ruben Herrera an album for the Spanish artist Gisela. She also started working on her own first album.

Natascha currently lives in Lustenau in Austria. She is fluent in German, Spanish and English.

2010 : Natascha announced that she was working on a new album, which would be released in 2011. She is also writing songs for other artists. One of her songs was 2nd place in the catagory "Pop" of an international songwriting competition.

Come Back And Stay (2007)

The concept of the Harajuku project is to release dance versions of well-known ballads from musicals (Les Misérables) and Disney films (Lion King, Beauty And The Beast). These interpretations appealed to the "musical God" Andrew Lloyd Webber and to the Disney studios because of their sensitive way of converting their hits. The project was named after Harajuku (原宿 "meadow lodging") which is the area around Harajuku Station on the Yamanote Line in the Shibuya ward of Tokyo, Japan.

The project was created by Tony O'Melley & Peter O. Scott. Several vocalists were featured : Stephanie O'Hara appeared on most singles, but there was also Silvia Krüger, Kristina Bach and Natalie Grant (who had released a single called Whitney-Esque in 1993, Memory in 1994, and Licence For Lovers).

Vocals on Phantom Of The Opera (Techno House Remixes) and Phantom Of The Opera (The '94 Remixes) were done by Christine (aka Kristine, Kristina Bach or Kerstin Bräuer). Kristina Bach was born on April 7th, 1962 in Mettman / Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. She has recorded several singles and albums, and composed Helene Fischer's mega-hit Atemlos.

Vocals on On My Own were done by Silvia Krueger (aka Silvia Krüger). Later, vocals were done by Stephanie O'Hara in the other version of the single.

Vocals on Can You Feel The Love Tonight were done by Stephanie O. (aka Stephanie O'Hara or Stefanie Obst).

Vocals on Colors Of The Wind were done by Stephanie O'Hara again.

Vocals on Someday were done by Stephanie O'Hara, and backing vocals were done by Nela Schellhorn.

Based in Toronto (Canada), the DJ, producer, songwriter and artist Barry Harris started DJing in 1983 on his college radio with the intention that it would lead him to remixing. Actually it didn't and he got frustrated, so frustrated about it that by 1988 he said "screw it then... I'll make my own record". This is how he created the project Kon Kan (a twist on the phrase "Can Con" (Canadian Content) which is the rule that forces Canadian radio station to play 30% Canadian music). That first record was I Beg Your Pardon. By 1989 it went top 15 on Billboard in America and top 5 around the world. He teamed up with the vocalist Kevin Wynne who contributed to the project's album, then left in 1989.

He was co-producer of many Eurodance projects such as Outta Control (with Rachid Wehbi and Kimberley Wetmore) or E-Magine (still with Kimberley Wetmore) and artists like Engelbert Humperdink. He also remixed Ondina's singles. Between 1993 and 1995 Barry Harris also released singles under the name Top Kat (with Terry Kelly). Their single Feel Cool charted well on Billboard's Hot Dance Music Club Play chart. Then he created the project Killer Bunnies with Rachid Wehbi and the vocalist Simone Denny.

In 1998 he moved to Los Angeles. Under the name of Thunderpuss, he produced or remixed tracks with Chris Cox (chairman of the independant label Interhit Records) for Whitney Houston, Amber, Britney Spears, Abigail, Billie Myers, The Tamperer, Duke, Madonna, Donna Summer, Giorgio Moroder and many more. Thunderpuss also released their own chart hits : a cover version of I Just Want To Be Your Everything featuring Thea Austin (released fall of 1997), Godzilla (released in May 19th, 1998) and Heroes (June 4th, 1998). The name of the project has its own history : "Chris's wife came up with Erotic Thunderpuss. I thought it was too pornographic, so Chris suggested Thunderpuss. At the time I said well how about Thunderpuss 2000, it sounds a little fun and cartoonish and besides... remixers only get about 3 years to be popular (if they should be so lucky to become popular in the first place!). So we agreed on Thunderpuss 2000. Well much to our surprise we were still hot by the end of 2000. I really didn't want to have an old name... like who would care about Thunderpuss '98... so we just started to drop the 2000 by fall of that year" Barry explains. In only five years , Thunderpuss remixes scored 31 #1's on Billboard's Hot Dance Music Club Play Chart and several more on the Maxi-Singles Sales Chart

With the underground solo-singles Wailin, Filter Queen and Why'd Ya Let Her Barry Harris proves to be a multi-talented dance music producer, remixer, and artist. Why'd Ya Let Her is the follow-up to last years Billboard Top 40 Dance Chart hit Funk Like Dat, which set dance floors on fire in the Spring of 1997.

2000 : Barry Harris released a solo single entitled Dive In The Pool, featuring he vocals of Pepper Mashay (who had also done vocals for the project Acapulco Heat).

2003 : Thunderpuss split in September 2003 to pursue solo projects. "Thunderpuss had just run its course," he said. "I wanted to do other things. I felt it was time for another chapter.". Barry Harris was chosen to be Junior Vasquez’s first guest DJ at Sound Factory's spanking-new Raw party in December. He does a weekly mix show on XM Satellite Radio every Saturday at midnight.

Barry remixed the theme song for the hit show Queer Eye For The Straight Guy entitled All Things.

2005 : Barry Harris remixed To Sir With Love by Chaka Khan in March.

Barry Harris says David Bowie is his biggest idol of all times. Barry has always been a music fanatic all his life in one way or another. Outside of remixing and DJing, he plays guitar, bass and piano

Not to be confused with the jazz artist of the same name.

Music Of Your Mind (1994)
Shine On Me (1994)
Love Song (5th Jun 1996)

The song Shine On Me was released in 1994 in Italy (DJ Movement records), and in 1995 in France under the label Ramdam Factory. It was produced and mixed by P. Rossini, arranged by P. Rossini, G. Fanelli and A. Carino.

Music Of Your Mind was written and arranged by Graziano Fanelli, Marco Rizzi and Pier Rossini, mixed by Marco Rizzi and Pier Rossini, produced by Pier Rossini. On the sleeve one could real Paul Harrys, but since it's almost the same musical team as the previous single... One can guess it's only a mistyping. It was licensed under Atomic Energy Records in Italy and Dance Street Records in Germany. Same spelling Paul Harrys was used on third single Love Song

No relation with DJ and producer Paul Harris.

According to his official biography, Manuel Stefano Carry was born on June 4th, 1962 in Boston, Massachusetts (USA) but he moved to Italy when he was 4 or 5, therefore he spoke better Italian than English. He was actually born Stefano Zandri in Nova Milanese, but in the 80s, being born in the US was more trendy in the English-speaking music business. His father worked as an architect. When his parents divorced, he (as well as his sister and brother) stayed with his mother. As a 7 year old child he learnt how to play piano and guitar, then during his high school years in Milan he was further developing interest in music. Also at that time he started practicing judo, bodybuilding and breakdance.

Since his early age he knew that he wanted to be a part of showbusiness. Thanks to his good look and very well defined body he was discovered as a photomodel. Soon after he met Roberto Turatti who at that time was a DJ in a discoteque in Milan, the American Disaster. Turatti and Miki Chieregato became his producers with mission to make Manuel become a star. He chose his artistic pseudonym of Den Harrow (based on the Italian word "denaro" which means money) and took extensive vocal lessons. Actually he never had a very strong voice, and some of his singles were actually sung by Tom Hooker (Don't Break My Heart, Bad Boy, Catch the Fox, Future Brain) and some others by Anthony James (Holiday Night, My Time, You Have A Way), Chuck Rolando (To Meet Me, A Taste of Love) and even Silver Pozzoli (Mad Desire).

The two first songs he released were To Meet Me and A Taste Of Love. They became quite popular in South European countries, but Den had to wait until 1984 for a real success. This year he released his first official single, Mad Desire, that sold more than 1 million copies and won 3 golden records. In 1985 he released Future Brain that made him win the 'Festivalbar' and 'Vota La Voce' contests. With his first album Overpower and the next singles released in 1986 Bad Boy, Charleston and Catch The Fox he became one of the most famous disco stars in Europe. These singles sold a total 1,5 million copies, received a Golden record in France, entered three times in 'Top 5' singles in Italy and a Silver Otto (a grammy award from the German music magazine Bravo).

In 1987 he released two singles from his second album Day By Day. Born To Love made him win his second 'Festivalbar'. Don't Break My Heart, his biggest hit ever, became n°1 in Germany and reached the 'Top 5' in Italy, Spain, Greece and Benelux. It received a Gold status in France and Platinum status in Canada. When he sung that song in Peters Popshow concert in Westfalenhalle (Dortmund, Germany) it caused a massive hysteria. This time Bravo magazine gave him a Golden Otto.Don't Break My Heart is now a part of Classic Italo-Disco sound. 1987 was also the year when his gave his first real live tournee.

In 1988, in Germany and in England, he stayed at the top of the charts during one whole year and received his second grammy award, even overtaking Michael Jackson in the charts and obtaining a Golden Record. Bravo ranked him on 4th place, and in 1989 on 9th. In 1989 he released his third album Lies that attracted attention of BMG/Ariola, earning more than 19 millions German Marks. Adidas and Coca Cola even hired him for their commercials.

In 1992 he signed a new contract with the German Polydor label and released his fourth album All I Want Is You produced by Jennifer Rush and Natalie Cole. It reached N°4 in the German charts and sold 800 000 copies.  In 1993 he released his fifth album Real Big Love, once again produced by Natalie Cole

In 1996 he started working with Mauro Farina of SAIFAM . He recorded several new tracks such as Take Me, The Universe of Love, Taste Of Love, I Feel You, Future Brain 2000 and Don't Break My Heart 2000. Farina's Factory Team remixed some of his old productions (for instance To Meet Me). Under the One Way Records label he also released his sixth album I Den. On ths album, one could hear the 2 singers who also contributed to Orlando.

In 1997 he moved to California to take part in the TV series Sunset Beach

In 1999 he left SAIFAM and recorded his 7th album Back From The Future that was released on Niteline Records.

2005 : he hosted the Italian-language TV show Radio Harrow on the satellite TV channel Match Music.

2006 : he took part in reality show L'isola dei famosi (the Italian version of "Celebrity Survivor") on Rai Due.

2007 : he released a new song, entitled FEDEN - Lo so, written and sung with his wife.

2010 : Tom Hooker and Miki Chierigato recorded and published on YouTube a press conference-style video in several languages in which Hooker stated and demonstrated that he was the vocalist on most of the Den Harrow records.

2001 : in February, Tom Hooker re-recorded and released Future Brain, along with a videoclip.

2012 : with other competitors of the previous seasons, he was back on L'isola dei famosi, still on Rai Due, but he had to quit the show because of health problems. He recorded 2 Meet Me 2012 with Hitfinders.

Ty Si Slnko Ja Som Dazd (1997)

Female vocalist of MC Erik & Barbara.

Barbara Haščáková was born on 11th of December 1979 in Košice. Very soon she was attracted by music and had a gift for it, so she started learning the piano and singing. This is how Barbara describes her relation to music : 'It comes from somewhere from inside me. I express my joy and sorrow by music, by my own compositions, by singing and dancing and playing the piano. I can not imagine my life without music. Each kind of music evokes some response. It either gives me an energy or brings me down. The music can make me happy too. When I was four years old I couldn't understand why people spoke to express themselves. It's a strange thing, but I prefer selfexpressing by singing. I couldn't find anything nice in the spoken language, it's without melody. That's why I everything set to music. I can not live without music.'

When she was about 12, she took part in 'Mini-Playback-Show' competition where she imitated her pop-idols Michael Jackson, Madonna and 4 Non-Blondes. Later she also performed at the 'Talent show'. At that time, people started to talk about this young singer with her incredibly crystal voice. She began to sing at the Kosice Jazz Club songs by Jackson, Madonna, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston and especially Queen.

The breakthrough in her career (and private life too) came in February 1994 when she was asked to sing high vocals for the song Par Bielych Ruzi by the group Maduar, where Erik was already a member. They liked her voice and therefore Barbara was featured on other songs of the group.

Inspite the great success of the album I Feel Good, Erik and Barbara decided to leave Maduar and establish a new formation. They named it MC Erik & Barbara . She got much more place for her and she could take part in making of the whole new album U Can't Stop as her voice appeared in each song of the album. The success of their first project was immediately followed by many concerts, live performances, making videos etc. Being busy, Barbara had to interrupt her studies at a Secondary School (second class) and continue to study according to an individual studying plan. In October 1996 she spent two weeks in England to improve her English. In 1997 she attended the fourth class of grammar school.

While working with the group, sha also cared about her solo-carrer. Se released a song entitled Laska Drz Ma Nad Hladinou and she was also featured on the song Usmev (Smile) and on the Duro Cierny & Company project Cierny Kvet (Black flower). On October 20th, 1997 she released her solo album which was more popstyle-like. There were also some film offers made to her. But the fame did not spoil her and she is the same kind and modest girl. In her free time she like to meet her friends and play basketball.

The same year, she recorded a soundtrack for the movie Fountain for Suzanne and for the main part of the Musical "Mary Stuart".

In 1999, Barabara finished her second solo album Ver, Ze Ja, ("Believe in me") under Universal Records, Slovakia. After completing her contract requirements with Universal Records she arrived in the United States in December of that year as a permanent resident of Florida.

Barbara's father is an academic painter and her mother (who worked as a sound engineer at the Slovak TV and later worked for an international magazine) now cares for her daughter's careeroui and accompanies her on her tours. Barbara's 4 years older brother is following his father and studies design at the University.

2002 : Barbara is now very busy with her solo carreer.

2014 : Barbara did vocals on a track of Miroslav Jaroš' album #5.

Revolution (18th Jun 2015)

Frank Hassas did studies in Kaufmännische Berufsfachschule Berlin. He started his artistical carreer as a break-dancer (under the scene name Mr. Atomic), then as a DJ (as 'Quickmix' and 'DJ King Of Rock'). In 1984 and 1985, O-Jay and him started to make "Freshline Radio Show" Tapes that they sold to shops and restaurants.

In 1987, still under the alias Quickmix he founded with O-Jay and The A (Aram Mouchegh) his first own hip hop band, Masterplan. They were the first German Hip Hop band to get a deal with Select Record Label (UTFO, Whistle). The first single was called We Wanna Be Stars but it was not very successful. The following year, Frank with O-jay and Karim Zouaoui (DJ Careem Da Dream) created the first German Hip Hop Electro Band, The Alliance. They sold 20000 units of the first single Action on the basis of self-distribution. The Alliance was one of Germanys most successful Hip Hop bands from 1988-1989. Records were released under Freshline Records, a label founded by Frank and O-Jay. They also worked on a project called The Admirers, releasing a cover of Joyce Sims' Come Into My Life.

At the same time he founded Fresh Beat Magazine, the first Hip Hop magazine in Germany, which was distributed by the World of music (WOM) chain. He also started his own radio show which also became a huge success.

In 1989, Frank and O-jay founded MC Sar & The Real McCoy. Their first singles (Pump Up The Jam Rap and It's on you) were massive successes Europewide and all went Top 10. They created the project Rap IV Rap (known for their cover of Soul II Soul's Keep On Movin').

1993 the next eurodance project was born : Maxx. Combining Club Sound with Ragga Vibes, the two initial singles Get a Way and No more went Top 10 all over Europe and reached Gold Status. Frank was credited as Dakota O'Neill.

In 1994, MC Sar & The Real McCoy was shortened into The Real McCoy, and got signed to BMG Germany and Arista Records USA. The Real McCoy had countless Top 5 Hits in the USA, UK, Japan and Europe and sold more than 8 million records worldwide. Their incredible success was honoured by dozens of Platinum and Gold awards, the MTV award, Billboard Award, a Grammy nomination as the most successful foreign Popact in the USA and the German Echo award. Frank was honoured by the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers for the Song Another Night, which stayed in the US Billboard Charts for almost one year.

Frank founded and leads Quickmix Entertainment Group. He also worked as an engineer for the duet of Mariah Carey and Joe and wrote/produced several songs for one of Germanys biggest actresses and singers, Yvonne Catterfeld.

Songwriter, rapper, producer and vocalist Dwight Anthony Hayden aka MC Dilly was born in Jamaica, close to Port Antonio, one of the main tourist area. He got interested in music at a very early age : he did his first appearance at a local stage show as he was only 9. Some years later, be moved to Bronx (New York), where he hooked up with reggae dancehall sound, building his American fan base. After graduating Truman High School, he did not have any money for college. So he joined the US Army, which brought him to Germany.

There, he continued his musical carreer by collaborating with Sahara music and Intercord records, out of Fulda and Stuttgart. He learned how to perform and record professionally. He also picked up on producing, arranging, mixing and song writing. This is how Dwight became ragga-rapper for the project 2 For Love, his first major project. With ex hair model Jacky, they released two singles and toured all over Germany, performing with some of Europe's big names such as La Bouche, DJ Bobo, Reel 2 Real. and C-block. He also contributed to Matchboxx Love Peace And Harmony.

Then, Dwight went back to America to build his recording company and label UNT Records in the Midwest. He released 2 compilations under that label : Mercenaries and Colabo. In spite of many attempts, he did not got the expected success, so finally Dwight went back to Europe, this time Italy. He met DJ Lele Finetto who let him freestyle in the clubs in Vicenza, gaining popularity among a military community. Then he started collaborating with DJ Tony Prince who wanted him as a vocalist. He worked in Venice, Milan, Florence, Rome, Bologna, Treviso, Verona, Rimini and Naples, and also visited neighboring countries (Slovania, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary and Spain).

2004 : he contributed to Ottomix's single Raggasex and to PLM's The Big Casino "Hoes" (with vocals by Reuben Ehigie, production by Lele Finetto and Ottomix). He started touring Europe and Asia. He also went to Afghanistan and Iraq with MWR and AKA Productions for the US military intertaining soldiers and family members across the globe.

2005 : he released his solo album Da Don under UNT Productions. He describes the style as dancehall reggae with a Hip Hop twist. He also released two singles (Run, Bounce) from the album.

Robert Haynes was rapper for Le Click

From the time he was a tender teen, Robert Haynes' interests were deejaying and music. His path to success differed greatly from Kayo's, starting in the U.S. and miraculously ending up in Germany. He studied piano and performed in his high school band. During his college years, he worked at University of California, Berkeley's radio station KALX as an announcer and DJ. From there he joined the army in 1984, which landed him in Germany where he really launched his career as a DJ and producer.

Robert started deejaying in clubs around Frankfurt, increasing his popularity on the German scene. As a writer and producer, he has worked with a number of groups. His biography included a single recorded with Devica which hit the German and Billboard 12' single sales charts with What is Sadness in 1991. This experience established Robert's rapping career with various record companies and projects, namely Le Click's Tonight Is The Night and La Bouche's Sweet Dreams where he also participated as a co-writer. He could also have been featured on Cartouche Touch The Sky.

In 1994 he remixed Joy-Lab - Freedom (Free Your Mind) and in 1996 Tongue Forest's And You Got The F... Nerve To Call Me Coloured.

Production : SAIFAM Publishing Group. The project was presented as the collaboration of one American boy and Spanish vocalist Anna Carena, who both began singing when they were children, and haven't stopped yet. Their talent had taken they to venues in the UK, and in a lot of other countries. Classically trained vocalists who started out in opera, then went into pop music and from there they branched into dance-music. This choice perhaps because they thought that dance-music just stuck with them. All the 90s singles were released in Italy as vinyls.

The first single to be recorded and released under the name of Heartclub was Don't Stop (a cover of a hit by Fleetwood Mac). It was the 19th single to be released by the 21st Century label. The vinyl included a New Power Mix and a Radio Mix, as well as a B-side entitled Make Me Happy, composed and written by Mauro Farina, G. Crivellente and Fabio Serra. It was Arranged and Produced by Farina, Crivellente and Fadinger. It was recorded and mixed at Factory Sound Studios in Verona.

The two next singles, released in 1994, featured the voice of Ian Lex. Don't Go Breaking My Heart was a cover of a song by Ann Orson and Carte Blanche. Apart from the original mix and a VDA version, the vinyl included a B-side called Baby Dance.

Everlasting Love was originally a hit of the UK band Love Affair back in 1968. It had been covered a many artists, including Sandra and Worlds Apart. The Heartclub version came in three flavours : Factory Team Edit, Radio Edit and V.D.A. Edit. The vinly also included a B-side : Everlasting Groove, composed and written by M. Farina, G. Crivellente, F. Serra and R. Facchinetti.

Stay Another Day, a cover of East 17, featured the voice of Pete. There were 4 tracks on the vinyl : a Reggae Mix and a Factory Team Edit, as well as the B-side Another Groove.

For the next single, Heartclub changed once again the vocalist : Sugar Sugar (a hit of the 60s band The Archies), released in 1996, featured the voice of Duffy (and probably raps by Daniel Sous). 3 versions of the song were available : a Radio Hard Club, a Summer Mix and a 12" Hard Club. There was as usual a B-side : Sugar's Groove.

The same year, I'd Love You To Want Me (originally sung by Lobo) was released. Only 2 mixes of the song were available : a Factory Team Mix and a Sun Mix. With a B-side : Groove To Me... I'd Love You To Want Me was also released in Germany, this time as CD-maxi. Vocalist was Vittorio Fraja.

The follow-up was a combination between Heartclub and the group 3 Boys. Alone (cover of the Bee Gees) was released in 1997, it came with a Dance Floor Mix, a Short Edit and a Houzy Mix. And of course it's B-side Alone Groove. Alone was also released in Germany.

After 2 years of silence, another single was released under Heartclub's name. This time, it was an original song and not a cover. It featured the voice of Angelica (probably Tracey Saunders). There were only 2 tracks on this vinyl : a Factory Dance Mix and a Factory Alternative Mix. The same year, Looking For You was released. Once again, only 2 remixes were available : a Factory Team dance Mix and a Happy Mix.

With Me was the next single to be released by Heartclub. The vinyl included a Factory Dance Mix and a Factory "Up" Mix.

Heartclub recorded a cover of La Bouche's famous hit Sweet Dreams.

Nana Hedin was born on the 24th of May 1968 in Eskilstuna. She started singing at the very early age of 3, then as she was only five she did her first performance at the childrens' day Festival.

Between 1988-1991, Nana was a member of the band Chris at the Moment. In 1992 she started to work with Dr Alban on his tours around the world. The next year she joined the famous Swedish Comedian and author Jonas Gardell. Four big live shows, TV shows and albums has been done since then and NaNa is talking about her work with Mr. Gardell as important for her growth as an artist.

"The fact that I'm not a skinny woman, dancing and running around like crazy in the show, has had a big impact on the female audience, writing letters about how important it has been for them to see a larger woman on stage, feeling good about herself. It has also been important for me to see their positive reactions and it has made me a better performer", NaNa says.

Female vocalist for E-Type, she also took part to the projects Safe (Love Is All We Need) and Amadin (Take Me Up), to the realization of DJ Bobo's album World In Motion and to Flexx's single Wake Up. She also made some backvocals for the worldfamous panflute musician Dana Dragomir, the sisters Graaf (You Got What I Want in 1998). Despite the fact that she participated these worldwide hits, she's still unknown to ordinary people.

Sometimes, she was so sought after that she had to take part to several groups at the same times ! For instance, in the summer of 1997 she was touring with E-type and Jonas Gardell. She was very busy but managed to take a short trip with Dr. Alban aswell to Egypt for a one night gig.

Nana sang on one of the songs to the Swedish movie "Bert - den sista oskulden". That song was made by Michael B Tretov (who also stands behind ABBA). Commercials like "RFSU" in 1993 and the company "Norwegian Adelsten" also contributed to make her voice very popular.

She has been working as a streetmusician and has been singing some blues as well.

Today Nana Hedin focuses on a solocareer, and says she doesn't dare to dream about the future : "It's more important to concentrate on what I'm doing today", she says.

Her very first solo song was called I'm Alive, that Nana co-wrote, along with the two musicians Mikael Hujanen and Johan Nilsson. "And I prefer not to make pure dancemusic only, she says.". Unfortunately for eurodance fans...

Among her favourite artists are Sting and Gladys Knight, to name a few. "I Saw a Dan Reed concert a few days ago... ooh, it was awesome" she explains. She loves all movies by Luc Besson (and Eric Serra's music) and another favorite of her is Rumblefish with Mickey Rourke. She has freckles in the summertime and blue wonderful sparkling eyes. She is 1,56 m tall. Blue is her favorite colour and she loves to watch the moon, so she tattoed a blue moon in a "DreamCatcher" on her shoulderblade. She loves to eat Thai-food and pasta. When she is traveling she usually collects masks from the countries she's visited. She loves scuba-diving.

2001 : Nana contributed to Britney Spears album Britney as backing vocalist. The same year she released the single Fame 2000 under the name NaNa D'Aquini. A new name because NaNa wanted to separate her work on the single from her work as a backvocalist. A video was shot in Las Vegas. The song was played both in clubs, radio and on tv in Sweden. The song became very popular with the gay club scene, climbed to nr.5 on the Swedish Dance Chart and stayed there for four weeks. There was no album made, since Nana and her records company realized they couldn't find a song good enough for a second single : "I would rather make no album, then a bad album", she says. The same year, Nan did backing vocals on A-Teens' Teen Spirit album.

2003 : Nana did backing vocals on Celine Dion's album New Day Has Come.

2004 : Nana Hedin is back with E-type ! She appeared on stage with him, singing his brand new single Paradise... The same year she released a cover of It's Raining Men (originally by the Weather Girls) on the compilation Absolute HitMania.

2005 : Nana will do a solo perfomance with the song Wherever You Go at the Swedish Eurovision pre-contest.

2009 : Nana Hedin was diagnosed with a malignant cancer of the tongue.

Heidi Janku was born in 1962 in Ostrava, where she keeps on living. Her singing carreer started in 1982. She scored her first and also biggest success during the 80s with the songs Kure Na Grilu or Kdyz Se Nacancam.

In 1995 year she was back on stage together with the pure and very nice eurodance tracks Give Me The Music, which was written by Erik Aresta (alias MC Erik) and Ave Maria, composed by J. Parma, written by J. Kruta, produced by J. Rohhácek in 1996. Both were released under Prolux Records / Roznov Pod Radhostem. Both MCD are to date very rare for many collectors all over the world.

Norway

Female vocalist for Solid Base.

Isabelle was born in Oslo, Norway on January 2nd 1972 as a Capricorn. Ever since childhood she's had a passion for singing, dancing and acting. She got a lot of support from her parents since they also used to sing, in a well known group in Norway.

However, she moved to Gothenburg, Sweden at the age of 10. She studied at Södra Latins gymnasium and, when she reached the age of 14, she went to learn classical singing at the 'Stage School' located in Gothenburg. A few years later she moved to Stockholm and continued her education at Södra Latin. She had been working in a video store for a while. "It was great ! I was kinda like the manager of the store and I loved it, because my whole family is made of movie maniacs".

She began to sing in various talent competitions for a few years. Then followed lots of engagements at the Apollo Theatre in Stockholm. One day she got a telephone call from Pat Reiniz (producer of Rednex and Cool James & Black Teacher). He was wondering if she would like to come and sing for him. That's how she took part to Cool James & Black Teacher's album Zooming You in 1994 (on Innocent Children and on The Rhythm Of The Tribe).

At work she met Niclas Lindberg (the producer of Snipers). He recommended her for the Solid Base project (at that time, they already had a female vocalist but they were not satisfied of her). Solid Base liked her singing skills, she was selected among 25 vocalist, this is hwo a very intense and professional partnership begun.

"I have always been singing. Both my parents were singers as well, so for me it was very natural" she explains. As for her musical tastes, Isabelle likes LL Cool J, she admires Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, George Michael, Christina Aguilera and Lauryn Hill.

She left Solid Base when the project stopped having success and because she wanted to do some other things She has 3 children.

After 16 years in Sweden, Heitmann moved back to Norway to live in the Majorstua area in Oslo. Isabelle now lives in Los Angeles, USA and she is now known as Isabelle Holender.

Kevin Hellenbrand was born 14th February 1985 in Brunssum (Netherlands). Beside his love for singing and dancing, he has a weakness for cellphones, computers and all other electronic gadgets. He can be busy with them whole day long and he likes to solve technical problems which others can't solve. In sports, he is also shining. He started breakdance at the age of 8, then streetdance when he was 12. He had to make a hard decision when he was 16: he had to choose between becoming a professional soccerplayer, or go on seriously with singing and dancing. When he became European Streetdance Champion in 1999, Kevin knew it for sure: "I only wanted one thing : conquer the world of showbizz !". In 2002, he opened his own dance school.

In 2003, he became a member of bubblegum project Ch!pz. He kept on playing soccer, but now he does that on his CIOS-opleiding. "Maybe once I will be cheered in a soccerstadium. Seeing 80 000 people go crazy for Chipz, that sounds really cool to me", Kevin says.

2008 : his dance school Hellenbrand Studio became an event and enterteinment agency.

2009 : Ch!pz split up.

2010 : Kevin released 2 solo singles : Good Times and Set Me On Fire

Orain (1999)
Bandera Untzi Ta Kalaberaz (2001)

Label: GOR. Hemendik At! was a group of Basque musicians formed in 1995 and founded in Pamplona. The group was formed by Mattin (vocals), Arantza (vocals) and Iker Sadaba (vocals and programming), but later changes were made by team members Stella Berzal, Iker Sadaba, Edurne Arizu and Alberto Domingo. The group released three albums.

They sent their demo to label GOR and got a contract. Summer 1997, song Goazen (menaing "let's go") had a big local success in Basque festivals and bars. First, self-titled album was composed by Iker Sadaba, written by Iker Lain, recorded with the contribution of singer Stella Berzal. They contributed to break the image of entertainment-only style usually associated to dance music, and to make it more popular. Their songs had a strong political message, they sung about the situation of Basque, about prisoners or about sexual violence.

In 1998, Mattin left the group and was replaced by Alberto Domingue, and in 1999, Edurne Arizu took the place of Arantza. The trio was now a quatuor : Iker, Alberto, Stela et Edurne. Second album Orain (meaning "now" in Basque) was released. It contained 10 songs in Basque, and one in English. A videoclip was shot for Orain.

2001 : their third and last album Etorkizuna (meaning "future" in Basque) was published. They shot a video for song Bandera Untzi Ta Kalaberaz.

Later, Edurne and Stella formed duet Ados, while Iker Sadaba kept on producing dance and pop.

Hi-Bias

Canada

Records company of YBZ. They have also distributed singles for the 2 Brothers on the 4th Floor , DJ Dado, Temperance and La Cream in Canada.

Since its inception in 1990, Hi-Bias Records has grown not just in credibility, size and stature, but it has also become one of the most successful independent labels Canada and the rest of the world has ever seen. Created to fill the needs and desires of DJs and dance music enthusiasts globally, this worldly vision has not been compromised in the label's eight-year history. Hi-Bias is recognized as one of the most innovative and creative labels having received numerous headlines, write-ups and reviews. The label founder, Nick Fiorucci, an internationally acclaimed DJ/Producer himself, has over a dozen years of experience with remix credits which include Urban Cookie Collective, M-People, Masters at Work, Kristine W, Jay Williams, Sunscream, and Camille to name but a few. When looking only at the last five years of its existence, the results this independent label has achieved are nothing short of astronomical : 1 Juno Award victory (and 7 nominations), 1 Much Music Video Award for the best Canadian Dance Video (7 nominations), a Canadian Music Industry nomination for best independent label, dozens of Top Ten Dance videos and National Dance singles, 2 Top 40 National Contemporary Hit Radio singles, Gross international sales exceeding 1 million units.

The talents of the label are not confined to the studio or music it produces, it spills over into other areas as well. Everything from CD jackets, label designs, press releases, production, artist development and mastering are all done within the confines of its four walls by staff. All these elements combined have helped establish Hi-Bias as one of Canada's top 7 labels. Hi-Bias Records is steeped with a history and more importantly a success story which has catapulted it head and shoulders above most other independent labels worldwide. The formula used to achieve this lasting success has not come about overnight, nor has it stagnated. Instead, it has evolved, reshaped and redefined itself to manifest not only the true ideals of the label but of the artists it represents as well.

In this competitive day and age high expectations are not met with substandard attitudes or fads looking to cash in on the current craze. Hi-Bias is not a fad. It has entrenched itself within the sometimes-unstable dance music realm proving that innovation, determination and creativity are crucial ingredients to longevity within the dance music business.

Hit'N'Hide is a project of Johnny Jam & Delgado. Six weeks at Number One on the Danish singles chart, platinum status for the single Space Invaders and gold status for the album On A Ride – that’s the story so far for Hit'N'Hide, the latest export from Scandinavia’s new wave of Eurobeat. That Danish success story soon spread throughout Scandinavia with Top 5 and gold status in Norway and a Top 20 hit in Sweden. Space Invaders, which is currently being promoted in the U.K. by record label All Around The World, was recently picked as Pop Single Of The Week in The Tip Sheet, the U.K.’s highly opinionated music bizz mag.

Hit'N'Hide are two Danes in their early twenties, Jeanne C & Morgan, are a pair who have always been obsessed with music. Morgan has worked extensively throughout Europe as a DJ and is owner of a discotheque. Jeanne C had always dreamed of being a singer, with an ambition to maybe sing for as many as five or ten thousand people. This is a dream currently under serious revision given that she’s already achieved her original modest ambitions.

Sundance was remixed by Johnny Jam & Delgado and re-released in 1999 (the original version was a single in 1997).

2013 : Hit'n'Hide are in the studio recording new songs and they announced that their new material would be different from their 90s songs. They have already recorded new songs, including their new single which is scheduled to release sometime in 2013.

Hithouse is the project from the Dutch DJ Peter Slaghuis, born in 1961 (Hithouse is the direct English translation of Slaghuis). In the early 80's he began to work as sound technician and as DJ. In the mid-80's he was involved in the 80s dance pop act Video Kids that had a few hits in the Netherlands. When Housemusic came up he was with Eddy de Clerq and Joost van Bellen the first Dutch house DJ's. In 1988 he made the sample track Jack To The Sound. This anthem got a big hit. It was the first dutch-made househit. One of the sounds of the summer of love 88' (1988 was the year that house conquered the dancefloors of England, The Netherlands, Germany and Ibiza). After that he got some other hits. In 1990 Peter worked together with DJ Paul Elstak (later Paul Elstak had big hits with his happy hardcore). Peter was getting an important man in Dutch house music.

Then came the single Bright Day featuring the voice of Dave DMD. Reggie Magloire was featured on the tracks I Want U 2 Move (B-side of A Bright Day) and I've Been Waiting For Your Love.

But on 5th September 1991 he died in a car accident. A black day in Dutch dance history.

In 1994 his anthem Jack To The Sound Of The Underground was back again. Bright Day then I've Been Waiting For Your Love were re-released in 1995.

The Prodigy used the sample for their biggest hit ever No Good (Start the Dance). The original got re-released too. In 1999 the German Mix team D.O.N.S. made a new version from this unforgettable track

I Look Into Your Eyes (Remix) (2017)

American singer and photographer Tom Hooker aka Thomas Barbey was born Thomas Beecher Hooker on November 18, 1957, in Greenwich, Connecticut. His granddad, John Barbey, co-invented "Lee" jean, and one of his aunts, Harriet Beecher Stowe, wrote famous anti-slavery novel Uncle Tom's Cabin.

His family moved to Europe when he was only six months old. At the age of 10, he started his musical career as a drummer. At 13, he created his first band. At 15, he first appeared in public at a concert as a drummer/singer. He studied languages in Switzerland.

In 1980, he moved to Italy, where he was discovered by Italian producers Roberto Turatti and Miki Chiregato. His first hit was Flip Over, b/w the track We Can Start It All Over Again. He had his first major success in 1986 with Looking for Love. The same year, he released Swiss boy under the scene name Lou Sern. He co-wrote (under the name T. Beecher) and sang lead vocals on the first two Den Harrow albums.

By 1988, he moved to photography and his music style changed with his single No More Heaven. His last single was Run Away, a nice eurodance track released under One Way records and licensed in Germany under ZYX, which was unfortunately a commercial failure. During the 90s, he did some English vocal coaching, advising artists such as Spagna.

In 1994, Hooker left the music scene to move to America to marry Suzanne Berquist. He settled in Los Angeles and changed his name to Thomas Barbey, his mother's maiden name. He began a career as a visual artist, creating surreal photographs, called photomontage. He currently exhibits in galleries in many countries around the world. "I'm retired and I'm rich. I know it may sound strange to you but I was also doing it for the money. It was just a job. A very fun one at times" he explained in an interview.

2010 : In October, he collaborated with his longtime musical colleague and fellow composer, Miki Chieregato, to produce and release a brand new single and video, Change Your Mind. Miki and him published a video in 3 languages to prove that he was the real singer on Future Brain, accusing Den Harrow to have written threats against him and his family. Afterwards, Den Harrow recorded a filmed answer in Italian...

2011 : he released a new recording and music video of the Den Harrow track Future Brain, which featured himself. The same year, Miki and Tom released the single No Elevation.

Bonn-based Natalie Christine Horler was born on September 23rd 1981 and grew up in Germany. The daughter of David Horler, an acclaimed jazz musician and arranger who worked with likes of Quincy Jones, Stan Getz and Tony Bennett, Natalie grew up around music, though was more influenced by stars like Maria Carey and Whitney Houston than her dad's trombone playing. Her mother, Christine, is a foreign languages teacher.

She began her musical career by singing in bars and casinos. At age 18 she started doing studio work and recorded several tracks for different DJs. In 2004, through her studio work, she met Cologne-based producers Yann Peifer (Yanou) and Manuel Reuter (Manian) who invited her to front their new project, Cascada. Natalie also worked on many projects for DJ Manian (such as Siria's 2 first singles) and a 2 Vibez song produced by Bass-T entitled Sometimes. Her most notable song is Piece Of Heaven as Akira. The same year, she appeared on the German adaptation of Star Search in 2004.

2006 : In the autumn of 2006, Natalie made her first foray into television as the guest host of the viewer request show Back @ Ya on bpm:tv, a Toronto, Canada-based cable channel.

2010 : In November, Natalie had to cancel some live appearances because she underwent a vocal chords sugery and was not allowed to speak during several weeks.

2011 : In April, she was among the stars to support children real-TV show "Dein Song" on German TV channel Ki.Ka. According to rumors, Natalie is engaged to a man known as Maurice, a banker and former model who comes from North Rhine-Westphalia.They were privately married in Italy in May 2011, with Natalie wearing a dress she had designed herself. In July, Natalie did a (very) sexy photoshoot for German edition of Playboy Magazine. In September, she announced that she would be a member of the real-TV show DSDS 2012 jury.

Rayland Horton was born in Heidelberg (Germany), where his parents worked for the US-Army. He has a twin sister and 3 other siblings. Shortly after his birth, his family went back to the US and he grew up in Seattle and Washington, becoming a real little gospel star at the age of 9. He remembers his first solo sing part at the choir very good and remembered, that all the people screamed as he started to sing. That's how he decided to devote his life to music

Ray started his carreer as a studio singer for the Milli Vanilli project. After the playback affair was discovered, he became singer/rapper for band The Real Milli Vanilli in 1990, along with Brad Howell, Gina Mohammed, Icy Bro and John Davis. 2 years later, he became a member of group Try'n'B and contributed to hits such as Sexy Eyes and Tell Me Where It Hurts. He took part to a few other projects before entering Toni Cottura's new formation Fun Affairs. Legend says that he was spotted in January 1998 after singing on Steve Browarczyk (another former Fun Factory member) phone-answer machine. Toni was amazed at his vocal skills and only a few days after, Ray was in the Booya studios to record Nana's song Remember the Time .

Since then Ray, toured with the Booya Family and recorded vocals for more Nana songs, such as Dreams, Pocket Full of Memories and You. Then Ray’s first solo single Because I love you (a cover of Stevie B's hit) was released. Ray's first pop/RnB album First Time was released in 1999. Then followed the singles I Cry and Tell My Hear, but they were less successful. After that, the Booya Family split. Ray worked with Criss Tonino and for the groups Minimax Project, Sonat and Sozey, for Phatt Krazy records. Around 2000-2002, he recorded the songs The One 4 Me and was featured on the song Winner 4 Life.

In 2003, Ray visited Peaceworkers' Stop The War (From Starting). Then everything became very quiet around him...

In Bamberg (Germany) where he was living until the end of 2008, he met producers Drastic and DMO from the Chrome Headz. Ray was impressed by their performance and that's how they started working together, releasing singles Under The Bridge, Our Story (Happy Birthday), Crappy New Year, From me 2 U...

2012 : he was featured on single DJ Lutique's Love Train, on Give Me Your Love from Romanian singer Dee-Dee, and visited Movetown's single Here Comes The Sun (released under Tommy Schleh's label Klubbstyle). He also took part to real-TV show The Voice Of Germany.

2014 : he was featured on Oriano's single Pony.

Ray nowadays lives in Franken, Germany. Besides his activities of songwriter and producer, he is also a vocal coach

Waste Your Time came in 1992. It was produced by Pierre Feroldi. Mixes were done by M. Marcolin and V. Gaffurini.

Records company : SAIFAM Publishing Group. All singles were recorded and mixed either at Factory Sound Studios, either at Mela Studio (both located in Verona). According to the project's official biography, the project featured Jo'-Jill House and Steve Cream, two 25 years old English artists, close friends not only on the stage. They have always had the passion for the music, and they were moving the first steps in the show business working like sessionmen in several record productions, when they met the producers Farina-Crivellente. The Housecream project was born. Although the music, their job in the clubs and the work in the studios for their new releases they don't leave their old habits. Jo'-Jill dedicates her free time to the dance and the photography, Steve dedicates his free time to his dogs.

The first single to be released by the project was entitled I Can't Go On. It was arranged and produced by F.C.F. (Farina/Crivellente/Facchinetti) with additional Production by Johnny Mix and Fabio Serra. It was mixed at Factory Sound Studios in Verona. Additional Remix by AGENT 333. It was released in 1993 under the label 21st Century.

Then, the next year, came the very nice Get Me Into Your Heart, featuring the voice of Jo. The music and the lyrics were written by M. Farina, G. Crivellente, and Annerly Gordon (which can make us think she is also the real vocalist) and F. Serra. It was produced by M. Farina and G. Crivellente with additional production by Johnny Mix and Fabio Serra, just as the previous single. On the vinyl one could find an Instrumental version, a V. D. A. Edit, and of course a radio version and a club mix. It was also released in Germany as maxi-CD, under the label ZYX.

In 1994 too was released the follow-up single : Lonely Mind. Same production team, and once again it featured the voice of Jo (maybe Annerly) with a rapper (prbably Daniel Sous). The track would be later covered by TH Express, another SAIFAM project. The vinyl included a Club Mix, a Factory Team Remix and a Radio Mix (done by Johnny Mix and Fabio Serra), and a V.D.A. Edit (done by F. Turatti)

Then came Beat It in 1995, still produced by the duo Farina-Crivellente in collaboration with F. Turatti and Factory Team. The vinyl included the following mixes : Factory House Edit, Energy Power Mix, Euro-dance and Radio Mix

You Danger was released in 1996. It was composed and written by M. Farina, F. Turatti, G. Crivellente and Clara Moroni (who could also be the vocalist).

It was followed by Dance Boom Boom, a track written and composed by M. Farina, R. Stecca and F. Serra, with 4 mixes (Factory Team Mix, Radio Edit, Party-Mix and 70's Mix, these 2 latest being produced by R. Stecca and F. & M. Smania).

In 1997, a very prolific year, was released Lucky Love, which was composed by A. Bindella, M. Farina and F. Turatti. There were 3 mixes included : an Alviz Mix, a Guitar Latino Mix and a FM Edit.

The follow-up to Lucky Love was Gimme Hope Jo'Anna, a cover of Eddy Grant's hit. It included a B-side entitled Gimme Groove Jo'Anna, and featured the voice of Duffy. It was produced by M. Farina and F.Turatti, recorded for once at Universal Studios (still in Verona). Then came Knowing Me Knowing You, a cover of ABBA, with a B-side named Houzy, produced by F. Turatti alone.

The year 1998 started with Saturday Night, composed and written by F. Serra, M. Farina and G. Crivellente, back to Factory Sound Studios. Apart from the usual Factory Team Mix there was also a Barbie Mix and a 7" edit.

In 1999 was released You Get My Heart, produced by M. Farina and Factory Team, with 2 mixes only : a Factory dance Mix and a Factory Alternative Mix. Afterwards came Life, written and composed by M. Farina and F. Serra, the same year.

2000 : Housecream released Piece Of My Heart, composed and produced by the same team as usual.

2001 : their latest single was Honey Honey, once again a cover of ABBA.

2010 : Housecream released an bouncy cover of the Pretender's Brass In Pocket.

Edward Huntington was born on 29 October 1965 in England. His father worked in coal-mine and mother was a house-wife. His parents wanted Eddy to be a doctor or a priest, but his plans were connected with music.

When Eddy was seventeen years old he started work in the shop with the music records. When he was 20 he's gone to London, where he's been working for several years in various discoteques as a DJ. With the money he earned, he paid for the dance-course in the well-known studio "Pineapple". In the meantime Eddy has been working as a model, as well. During one of his shows he met Roberto Turatti, Den Harrow's producer.

His greatest hits are: USSR, Up And Down, Physical Attraction and May Day. He released the only one album titled Bang Bang Baby in 1989. He also released his own version of Den Harrow 's song Meet My Friend.

Huntington left the music industry in the early 1990s and trained to become a primary school teacher in the UK. He taught at Eldon Grove Primary School in Hartlepool teaching children. He provided after school drama and singing lessons as well as everyday lessons. He then moved to Thailand for 2 years with his wife teaching at Bangkok Patana School. There his youngest son was born, which prompted a move back to England, where he is the deputy head of a community primary school.

2003 : USSR was remixed by Beatbone.

2005 : he opened the Discoteka '80s concerts in Russia.

2009 : he released the single Love For Russia.

I've Got To Dance (1992)
Bach Is Back (Jan 1992)
Starlight (1993)
Naked In The Rain (1994)
My Life (1995)
Bach Is Still Alive (1999)

Hyena is a band now composed of two elements : Morena (female lead vocalist, dance) and Nana (male rapper and dance).

The first single Bach Is Back came out in January 1992 and was the first track released by LED Records. It was a techno track that was really successful, especially in Japan where it entered Top 5 club charts with AVEX. Then followed the singles I've Got To Dance, also released in 1992, still featuring Morena who confirmed her talent in the world of dance music, with DJ Patric and Ricky Traum as guest.

In the end of 1993 Morena recorded Starlight, Hyena's third single; as lead vocalist and a few months later obtained good results all over Europe and in other countries as Canada and Australia. Then she met Nana (maybe Nana Abrokwa ?), a young coloured African rapper with a catchy voice and a nice way to sing and established with him the new band. Now Hyena's group is working on a new single with LED production team. This new team recorded Naked In The Rain in 1994. It was produced, written and arranged by Gino Caria and A. Gioia, remastered by L. Stranga & I. Gechele.

The following year, My Life was released under the label Why, a subdivision of LED, produced by G.Caria and S.Spiritelli. In the US, it was licensed under Lime. More recently Bach Is Still Alive was released in 1999.

Bach Is Back is still on the market with Toshiba's compilation Dancemania Super Techno and a Japanese top selling remixing team is working on a new millennium remix.

You Don't Know What I Want (1995)

Hands Up (1996)
All Of Your Dreams (1997)

The Norvegian project Hype, produced by LéCream, is made of 2 rappers (among them, David J, who had also taken part to the project Black Label) and the female vocalist Linda Johansen, who is one of Norway's most famous nude model, as well as former editor-in-chief of porn magazine Lek (and not a pornstar as usually mentioned). Maybe that's why their first and only album was called Provocative... The song All Of Your Dreams was originally released on the album in 1995 as a ballad, but on the single release in 1997 it was remixed into euroreagge.

The album was recorded in Studio Nova, Norway. It was mixed and mastered by Robert O. Engen. All songs were published by Air Music/Hype Records.

The album track Hands Up was originally recorded by the Swedish project Black Label, (Lé Cream also took part to this project) but for some reason they never released it as maxi (only as promo single). They gave it to Hype (on the cover of Hype's album one can read "copyright by Svenska EMI")

All Of Your Dreams, Hype's last single, was released in 1997. The same year, Linda adopted one of the first Bengali cats that were imported to Norway.

2000 : Linda opened 2 beauty salons, Beauty Lounge and Beauty Express. Later, she launched her own brand of make up.

2004 : Linda released her autobiography, entitled For alles øyne.

2013 : Linda took part to season 9 of Skal vi danse? (Norway's version of Dance with Stars) but unfortunately she was the first eliminated.
