Scooter anniversary concert 20 years Of Hardcore of Thursday 5th December will air on live stream from 21:30 (local time) on Electronicbeats website.

At a press conference during their Russian tour, Scooter announced that Philip Speiser (aka DDY, producer of Die Atzen) would become the new Scooter member, replacing Rick Jordan, who will leave the band after the end of 20 Years Of Hardcore German tour.

First book about Scooter, written by Max Dax and Robert Defcon will be released on November 18th

Scooter will release on October 11th a double CD best of entitled 20 Years of Hardcore.

Scooter announced that they have just finished recording their forthcoming album The Big Mash Up. Their new single will be entitled David Doesn’t Eat, to be released the same day as the album, on October 14th.

"We are recording our new album, that's going to be out in September or October (...) I believe we worked one year in the wrong direction... We wanted to make some Electro House... Scooter's new single will be a re-recorded version of The Sound Above My Hair. The video was shot in and around the Wernigerode castle in Germany. Premiere will take place on November 13th. The single itself will be out on November 27th (Thanks to Denis ''DJ Hooligan'' Zhabkin)

Scooter's new single will be entitled J'adore Hardcore, and it will be released on September 4th 2009. The new album, called Under The Radar Over The Top will follow on october 2nd 2009. In 2010, Scooter will start a new big tour through Germany : the "Under The Radar Over The Top Tour 2010" will start in Cologne on March 11th. Scooter will make their version of song Troy by Die Fantastischen Vier for their 20th year tribute album. And their hit Nessaja was used as main theme on the movie "Brüno" (thanks to Denis "DJ Hooligan" Zhabkine).

Axel Coon (former Scooter member) created a new project entitled Plaxx. The single is entitled Dance With Me (thanks to Denis "DJ Hooligan" Zhabkine).

Together with with other German artists Jeanette Biedermann, Tobias Künzel (from Die Prinzen), Guildo Horn and Sylvia Kollek, H.P. Baxxter from Scooter is a member of the German national jury of Eurovision Song contest in Moscow (thanks to Denis DJ Hooligan Zhabkine).

This year Scooter are again nominated for the VIVA Comet awards : for Best Live Act and for Best Song (for the song Beweg Dein Arsch by Sido's "Hands On Scooter").

Scooter are currently recording their new album. They postponed their forthcoming Scooter Ireland Tour, initially scheduled for February 2009, to Autumn 2009

Scooter come to Ireland in February playing three special dates, with some other Clubland artists as support such as Kelly Llorenna (thanks to eurodance blog)

Scooter, Kate Ryan, Kelly Llorenna, September, among others, toured in the UK during the Clubland Live tour 2. It could be broadcasted some day on the UK channel Clubland TV.

On October 3rd, there will be the release of an extended version of Scooter's last album, renamed Jumping All Over The World - Whatever You Want. The standard version includes all tracks from the album, plus 7 "Hands On Scooter" bonus tracks (Scooter songs performed by well known artists such as the Bloodhound Gang). There will also be a second CD with the new single, the greatest Scooter tracks of all time, and another bonus track.

Scooter took part to Germany 12 Points, the qualification show for the Eurovision Song Contest in Berlin on the 19th of March. They were very close to winning their ticket to Istambul. Among 10 candidates, 2 of them were selected for the final voting : Scooter and Max. After a neverending suspense, the result came : unfortuntalely Max was selected by the public vote instead of Scooter. :-(

Scooter will take part to the qualification show for the Eurovision Song Contest in Berlin on the 19th of March. If they are selected among the other candidates, they will represent Germany at the Eurovision. The show will be broadcasted on ARD at 20:15 (Paris time).

On the 19th of April 2004, Scooter will release Jigga Jigga in the UK. The single will include some new mixes.
