Rednex are back with a new single entitled Glad Rags Jug. The song, performed by João Ferreira da Silva, is inspired from Turkey In The Straw, an American folk song. Video was shot in a village in Hungary, directed by Michal Holecko and Kun Sándor (thanks to Pim)

Rednex recorded a new version of their hit Wish You Were Here, performed by Misty Mae, in memory of American Deputy Carl Howell who died in the line of duty in August 2015 in Carson City (thanks to Denis). Watch it here

Rednex recorded a new song entitled Manly Man. Videoclip could be shot in June. They recently welcomed 3 news members for stage performances : Cassidy, Rattler and Puppy. And their hit Cotton Eye Joe will be featured on French movie Le Sens De La Fête.

Discover the videoclip of Rednex's single The End. This "flowumentary", as they labelled it, was shot last September in Budapest (Garay Utca, Sörfesztival and Szimpla Kert). They started a franchise in Australia & New Zealand : 4 new performers from Auckland were recruited to form a second Rednex with a license to perform in those countries. Watch it here

Rednex's new single will be entitled Raise Your Glass. It will be out under record label Rocka Records on December 31st.

Rednex have released their new single Devil's On The Loose through Pirate Bay for everyone to download for free. They did an interview on national danish radio DR P3 (the most listened too radio in Denmark) last week. (Thanks to Anders Bøgh)

Rednex's single Devil's On The Loose will be out on 7th of January. The forthcoming album would be entitled Saturday Night Beaver. Paying members of the official website will be allowed to download the single for free.

A new Rednex single is coming up, it is entitled Devil's On The Loose. The video was recorded in a barn in Sweden.

Scarlet is back with Rednex. The new team are now Scarlet with other former members Dagger, Joe Cagg and Ace Ratclaw. A new album is currently being written and a European tour is planned. More infos on their official website (thanks to Rednex team themselves)

Rednex composed an anthem or the Euro 2008 soccer championship entitled Football Is Our Religion. The clip was shot in April at Georgiew studio

Rednex and their song Railraod Raiload were not selected to represent Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest.

After being disqualified in 2007, Rednex will try again to qualify for Eurovision Song Contest for Romania this year, with a new song entitled Railroad Railroad, once again a collaboration with Ro-mania.

Scarlet, former Rednex vocalist contributed to Jan Waye's I Touch Myself (thanks to Klems).

Rednex's hit single Cotton Eye Joe will be featured on the soundtrack of a Snoop Dog movie called Hood of horror (thanks to Tavi Meran). The auctions on eBay for the group ended without any bids...

Rednex is for sale on eBay ! Auctions for the Swedish project start at 1 500 000 $ (thanks to reBeL).

Rednex's song Well-o-wee was disqualified from the Romanian national selection because they were broadcasted publicly before October 1st. This decision was taken by a TVR evaluation committee.

Rednex and the romanian band Ro-mania are among the finalists to preselections to represent Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest. The song is called Well-o-wee. You can watch the clip here. The final will take place next saturday (see TV dates) (thanks to Tavi Meran)

Rednex was not selected to represent Sweden at the Eurovision contest.

Some changes in the Rednex project : Scarlet left the group and Mary-Ann, the very first vocalist, has come back.

Rednex released a single entitled Cotton Eye Joe 2002, it's a remix of their 1994 hit Cotton Eye Joe. It features remixes by Dance Nation and Aquagen (thanks to Denis "DJ Hooligan" Zhabkin and Dance Artist Info).
